Hi! Mine doesn't lock. The doorknob always opens the door, even with the message that the door has been closed. Apparently it is something physical, as the handle turns freely, even with it locked. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Thank you!
@@mkaiala Hi! I solved this problem. Well, come on: I can't guarantee it's the same, but what happened to me was that the thickness of my door was less than the minimum recommended size. So, what happened: that axis that connects the two handles was at the limit and the spring of the inside handle pressed that axis on the outside handle. This pressure on the bottom of the outside knob wall means that the knob cannot rotate in a false way - there must be a distance between the end of the shaft and the bottom of the knob. In my case, I cut 7 mm from that axis and from then on it started to work perfectly. Also make sure that the lock is properly aligned - the shaft needs to rotate without pressure, otherwise it grips the front handle wall and does not rotate falsely. I find this out by disassembling my doorknob (despite the sticker asking not to do that - hehehe). That way I was able to understand how it worked and come up with a solution - at least for me. Before cutting the shaft, mount the knob outside the door and press the two parts of the lock against each other. Probably the outside one will run. If you relieve the pressure, it starts to spin. Then come back and tell me if that works for you, okay? PS: in the worst case, if you cut too much, you can always use the shaft of a common knob. ALIANS, I did a test with the mechanism of a common lock and it worked perfectly. So I used both electronic parts and a normal lock that was on the door. I hope this tip helps you!
