- The Tuya #fingerprint door lock is a #smart door lock that permits multiple access methods. A single access method can be used or a combination of the fingerprint, keycard and the code for better security.

This is the second home in which th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU we've replaced our "regular" doorbell with a Ring video doorbell and we really enjoy it. It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

There should be a problem with the installation. Please open and check the hole where the rod goes through to connect the front and back panel. There is an arrow on that hole, turn it to point downwards. That should fix it

Hi do the app have entry exit records of days even of months
The app has entry records but not exit records because you don't use the fingerprint to lock. And yes it keeps records for months
Hello brother i have installed this, however i cant use the deadbolt function from outside (turn handle up) it does not engage the deadbolt/ deadlatch. any idea why?
Hello. I had the same problem at first but if you rotate the hole where the metal rode the connects the front panel and the back panel am sure it will work ok

noce video i have same for some reason the fjnger print works but need to touch keypad first before simply out ur finger and lock wakes up

That is the global estimate for biometric systems plus I ran random trials and the fingers kinda match

yes you can set to use only fingerprint but the mechanical key will always be able to open the lock

The design is flawed my children can simply pull the leaver from the inside and they can open the door. Outside is locked but inside stay open

My unit came in Chinese language, I could not understand anything it is saying. Hence I can’t even set it up.

Am not quite sure that will work. The keycard uses NFC technology to communicate with the lock

I bought the same what I am worried about I'm using an old fashion ordinary doorknob in my old door do I have to buy a new door change my old door so I could attached it
The door lock may not fit exactly the same but am sure a handy man can adjust the fitting for this one to fit. I had to use a welder to do some work on the door since the old lock was not the same as this one. Am sure you don't have to change the entire door

How do you put the lock into paring mode the app asks for the lock to flash but unsure how to do this...
This lock has. Wifi, Bluetooth and zigbee versions. The one i used is a wifi version so you need to open the locks user menu by using *#.
Then follow the instructions to admin setting, then network settings and choose smart connections before connecting through the app
Do you know if there is an option to delete the smart card from the TUYA application? What if someone looses their card, how to remove the access?
Hello, not been able to fine that option to remove access but i will suggest that you use the double unlock mode so whoever has the keycard will not be able to open the lock with a fingerprint or combination code.

Hi, the lock is produced by tuya and using it as a replacement might need some adjustments to your door depending on which lock you used before(though not any major adjustment).
You can purchase it from Amazon or Alibaba depending on where you are located but I have used it for over 8 months now and it works fine.

Hello
Open the lock and check where the metal rod connects the front and back panels, there is and arrow. Rotate the arrow to face down and try again. It should be able to lock and open.
@@mcsmarthomes7876 the problem now is we cannot open the door anymore 😢. Is there any emergency to open it without the key? Because we left the key inside the house. It keeps saying the door is open but unfortunately its not. Now we’re being locked up outside and we cannot be able to open the door again.

I can't find a way to do it! Only a dynamic password, which sucks, id like to unlock when someone is coming instead of going to do door and opening.
You are right, I don't think there is a remote unlock from the app. I have looked for that option myself and can't find and the manual doesn't say anything about a remote unlock

Yes it was connected to my home wifi. To enter the settings, click *+# on the front panel of the lock then input the default code was is 123456#. Continue as the voice command prompts you to

Hey, I've seen this video from you a few days ago and today the fingerprint door lock arrived at my home. When I installed it to the door, you could unlock and look it from outside. That means, no code or something is required to get in my room. How can I change that? Is this a specific setting I need to set up first?
Edit: If your answer was the Tuya Smart App, it doesn't work for me. No code is sending to my app when I request for it via the display on the door lock and it doesn't connect with Wifi etc.
Please check the hole besides the reversing screw and adjust it to the correct position. The arrow on the hole should face down

Hello sir, i just noticed in the setting under system settings, then unlock mode, enable passage mode will be able to open and close the lock without using any code. You can cancel the passage mode when you no longer want it enabled.

How long does the battery last?
It depends on several things such as the kind of battery you use, and how often the lock is in use. On the TuyaSmart app it will display the battery level so you can consider replacing or charging.

Do you know why the lock does not stop ringing? It has new batteries, the notification that arrives is "prying alarm", according to what I was seeing and it is the anti-vandalism alarm that the lock has but nothing like that, nobody is touching the lock and it starts to sound (the lock has its own speaker), any ideas?
