- 50 cent coins are one of my favorite coins to hunt through. So many chances to find a keeper.
Australian Coins are some of the best designed coins in the world. We have so many different coins filled with colour and historical relevance. Many coins are worth more than the value written on the coin. Come and explore the channel to learn which coins could be worth a small fortune.
Coins in your change or your piggy bank could be worth hundreds of dollars. You just need to know what to look for.

Cheat sheet ,bold font would help if you forget.
I forget all the time, so I have a sheet with all the coins marked out on them and I place each coin I want to keep on the desired circle on the paper. Things ike the 1980s Mob of Roos have no space but all the desirable ones have a circle.
PJ Coin Capers should release their own colourful Noodling page (a page for each $ denomination) with interesting data on the coin (like mintage or common errors to look out for) that we can buy with your logo on it to support the channel. I am sure if they were cheap $10 or so, laminated, many people would buy them as they are useful and supports your great channel.

Did my first doddle today..found 2021..2020..2019..coins some federals..and come here to check if im doing it right lol but did find some in 20c coins that are 2021 2020..2019..but again found others i never seen before ..don bradman..and anzac ones..thank you for helping us newbies 😊

Apologies if you have already done it because I haven't looked yet, but any chance you could do a video covering all the various editions of the 50c coin? They've done heaps of them same with the $1, would be interesting to see which ones are out there.
I think I've seen nearly all of them at some point but I bet I'd be surprised

Vanessa I say the 2021 50 cent will be a high mintage. I have at least 20 of them from noodling.

I found a rare 50 cent......in da club
4 of my 1966 round 50 cents have double bars
After 66 they dropped the bars as they couldn't produce a consistent strike. They mysteriously reappeared 79.

Nope. It was from 1998.
There was an 83 around that time.
