@@Gumardee_coins_and_banknotes I found a 50c 'error' coin the other day... if it is a genuine error then it's special. BUT I don't know enough about the minting process to say that it's a definite error and not just a shed error. It looks legit to me... but I have a vested interest 😉
A good way to get the camera to autofocus faster is use your hand to cover the background as the camera thinks the coin you are holding up is not the main picture so autofocuses the background

When I list coins with with these sorts of errors on ebay sometimes I get attacked by people who msg me accusing me of being a scammer 😐 they tell me these arnt errors. Even get msgs sometimes about 5 cent, 10 cent die clashes telling me it's PMD and to stop scamming 😐 I don't get some ppl, calling me a scammer saying I got PMD when I 100% have an error and you got other ppl selling 88 HH COINS for 5k+ weird

Because no matter wat I say or wat evidence I give them they will refuse to listen and just send me abuse. 1 guy went through least half my listing's even unrelated to coins and sent me abuse through like 40 listing's. I heard these can sometimes be sellers trying to get rid of other people trying to sell. Because if I'm unsure if what I have is an error I won't list until I am sure I try to be as honest as possible but get attacked for no reason
Ah I abuse them back. Have the time they can not take it and cry, some get defensive. But I just do not give 2 fks. If they are nice, but wrong, I would send them to a website etc. But if someone does not want to learn, don't force them.

hi ..I was watching you're video I've actually got two 2001 centenary of federation 50c coins regarding the double rim with the emu & kangaroo it's about half of the coin same with the northern territory ..
After I put up my profile pic on YT it really changed the dynamic for discourse. Previously I had no picture so hecklers had nothing to go off. These days "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" is the most common insult sent my way on YT (if you can call it an insult) Reactive types hey! - shake my head 😕 They can't be bothered picking at the argument so they try to attack at the person. I'm not English and there is no God. Try harder fools 😂

I've seen many split planchet 50s - I've just been throwing them back!
I assumed it was damage from coin rolling machines.
To me it looks like air inclusions in the metal, probably degassing while cooling.

They are common on these coins, you need to look for a nice coin without the boubling.

Most coins minted in the last 50 years are common. So 1974 coins are still just face value circulated.

Just buy a 1985 mint set, I have got mine for $20.
People think they will make big money from them. I just spend the low grade coins. Not worth holding onto.
