I feel like every class/spec is going to be a lot more fun in wotlk, can't really go wrong with anything. Blizzard in 2008 was just killing it with the class design, so many iconic class talents/skills were added in wotlk.
For me it was the rogue that was my most fun. You really felt like you could do anything, you had so many counters and tools. You were a freakin batman, pulling out anything any situation could need from your belt. Loved paladin as well but rogue was the one that pick pocketed my heart in the end. I have always felt that I wanted to be in the thick of it so melee was always my go to, and the rogue is the one melee that keep pulling me back!
Im currently leveling combat at lvl 67 but it’s boring. Is mutilate or sub viable leveling in WOTLK? Or is the ability of combat to kill 2-4 at the same time too good to pass on
@@jacobgarcia9175 yes mutilate is great for pve and you also get a little more utility out of it. You also dont have to regear yourself if you want to pvp which is a huge plus imo. I did all the heroics and naxx playing muti and I dual specced sub for pvp
I don't remember seeing many fire mages in Wrath but I mainly PvP so they were all frost. I'm rocking Prot War with ArmPen and Block value for some YUUGE Shield Slams. There is nothing more fun than doing massive damage with a Shield. WotLK Prot was the original Glad stance with such an amazing tool kit.
prot pals and warrs wont be viable in arenas cause game will be 3.3.5 state after devastate and shield pop nerfs. Arms will slap though.. best comp in the entire game thundercleave.
@@austinwayno4988 Prot still 2 shots in 3.3.5 with Arm pen and mixed Tier Prot/Arms set. Shockwave will do 15k and you still will be hitting 12-15k Shield Slam. You just won't be hitting the 25k+ Shield Slams anymore. All the nerf did was shift to an Arm Pen attack power hybrid build. So Prot still slaps with damage while having one of the best PvP tool kits. 2 silences, dispel, 2 stuns etc.. Crazy you think they aren't viable when they are Rank 1 material. There was literally 3k+ rating Prot warriors

I indeed had the most fun of my WoW life as a prot paladin in wrath. It’s one of those specs that is very easy to play but still feels totally satisfying.
All the classes were fun to play in wotlk imo though my personal favorite was druid. It's the one class that can fill any role. Wanna tank or melee dps? Feral. Or maybe you feel like healing. Resto. Or sometimes you just wanna nuke everyone's faces. Boomkin. So much fun!
I remember I came into WotLK having played a Hunter and Priest previously. I tried out an Unholy DK and in my first 1v1 up close and personal battle in the tunnel in Warsong Gulch, I had a brutal melee with a shaman and came out on top. It was also the first expansion that I was there on day one for as we all crossed the sea to Northrend. Great memories!
hunter is by far the most fun the variety of pvp abilitiws that you can get from so many pets and the builds is really fun and the instant shots with big crits chance is cool stuff, plus track humnaoids for gankers
You miss out on explosive shot damage if you spam it when lock and load procs. You should actually upon lock n load shoot explosive, arcane, explosive to get the full value
Good video but as always - very much a matter of taste. I always loved the Warlock class and in Wrath - Demonology is so much fun! How cool is it to Metamorphose into a Demon then charge into a mob, ignite yourself, Shadow Cleave and Hellfire away? How great is Demonic Circle in both Pve and PvP? In the execution phase you will be throwing around Soulfires like there is no tomorrow! Affliction is also great fun and Destro is awesome in PvP. Of course you still have your Demons, drains, curses, fear, healthstones and soulstones... all in all great fun!
fire mage really was so much fun though I was a shammy main and would never change that best class ever in my opinion. not to mention blizzard gave them a 15 second cool down aoe 3 second stun (fire nova totem) was so op they changed that really quick. 1v10 as a ele shammy was very doable. camped the graveyard in wsg by my self in really terrible gear. I felt like mc hammer... can't touch this.
Im still trying to find out which class I wanna Main whenever wrath classic comes out. I definitely wanna tank and maybe do some arena with dualspec. Currently I’ve always been playing warrior in classic and tbc, but since warriors are not as good of a tank I consider switching 😅
I think warriors are really good tanks in wotlk fury warriors do insane dps and I have been wrecked by arms in pvp. its a very high maintenance, gear dependent and skill dependent class
after not sleeping before work last night cause I was playing tbc for nearly 12 hours straight with her, you would think I should go home this morning and get some rest.... well I've GOT TO PLAY some more tbc for a bit 😂

I played hunter in retail Wotlk and I really looked forward to do it again in classic but I really considering of rerolling because I've grown so tired in tbc classic of all annoying things that hunters come with with have to buy ammo all the time, keep your bags full of pet food which is such a nuisance which is a shame cause besides that it's a really fun class.
I feel you. However you can stack ammo to 1,000 in WOTLK, not just 200 now. And also there is the Glyph of Mend Pet which increases your pet's happiness each time you mend pet. Essentially making one of the gimmicky things less annoying to deal with, and practically removing the other. Having said that I really can't decide between Hunter / Rogue / Druid

Tough choice! I'd probably go Shaman just because you can dual spec as healer & dps so you can enjoy different roles if you wanted to and be in-demand for PvE and do well in PvP
I mained (and only played) druid in Wotlk I played mostly resto but did love the feral for questing and such. This time around I'd like to try something different. Of course I'll raid but also heal ALOT of dungeons and want a fun dps offspec (I think it boils down to the pally or shaman). Do you feel both do well healing dungeons and how is ret vs enhancement for dailies? To try these specs I'd need some way to get into the game, like a beta key :). Thanks for the videos!

I have the feeling that was a very PVP heavy list... in a raid... when does there ever come a time where it is usefull, that the enemy target is disarmed when he attackes the mage? Same with shamans... u need the heroism buff.... where u needed 5 shamans (or 4 with a healer grp) in tbc u only REALLY need one (maybe 2) in WOTLK. Survival instincts is good as a tank, but not as a melee (except if u cant handle aggro). Infected wounds in raids... well... Typhoon is a PVP Talent almost exclusively...
I'm a bit in fear to play elemental in wotlk consider to play resto shaman like a few years ago. Problem in wotlk classic is all player known all so maybe no spot for elemental in Raids
Ele sham is a really good dps up to ulduar, since they dont scale very good with gear they fall down on toc and ICC but it's still a viable spec. Also 5% caster crit, 280sp for whole raid and caster haste. You will have a spot.
The most fun Class in Wrath is its Flavor of the Month Class... whoelse? Death Knights. Give them Shadowmourne. The whole Wrath expansion is all about them. Their AoE DPS is OP and their Single Target DPS is very decent with Armor Pen gear. The only Class that could match their OP AoE DPS is Survival's Hunter which is not discussed on the video. You switch to Marksman on SIngle Target DPS when you start getting Armor Pen gear. Armor Pen doesnt do much on Survival.

Ret Pal: Simple but not too simple - Bro, that class has a 1 macro rotation like Hunter in TBC, you literally just chained all 5 of your spells in a macro and clicked it the entire raid through for best possible dps.
TLDR #5 Paladin. #4 Druid. #3 Shaman. #2 Hunter. #1 Mage.

Yup Rogue didn't get much love. Combat is fucking boring and now compare it with Sub Rogue in Legion. Jesus that was the most FUN spec ever.

I loved fighting rogues with my hunter. The only way they ever beat me is if they were lucky enough to stunlock me.

Blood DPS DK, Frost dps and tank DK, Prot and Ret Paladin, Assassination and Combat rogue and I loved playing resto shaman

Savage roar can only be used in cat form but applies to all forms.
Miss my tree form being your healing form that gave you bonuses but also made you like the other specs. Shaman healing is nice too.

BM pets could tank normal dungeons but especially off tank for a warrior.

Hunters are easier to get good results with, but shamans have a higher roof and higher complexity and IMO is more fun.

I'd say paladin healer is one of the best but both do very well. Ret I'd say is better than Enhance in PvE. Hope that helps :)

Fury warriors were a force to be reckoned with in Lich King, i was always on top of the dps ladder.

How do you get beta keys? I’ve played for 12 years and have never gotten in to any blizzard betas when opting in on their website.
You get lucky and they choose you. I got lucky for wotlk and cataclysm betas. Just applied and played a lot

Wrong. Arp does a lot on survival too, not as much as on mm. BUT: Arp also is NOT the deciding factor for mm to become good - it is weapon damage.
Totally missed the raid buffs of Boomies and their incredible crit and mana regen
Was sad that WOTLK finally got balance right with trees and then removed them taking the flavor away.

Prepatch and first WotLK update sucked as a mage. Fire sucked and arcane was OOM. I never made it past that as i quit playing altogether.
