i work at CDG airport as a catering supervisor for delta, i'm the person that makes sure that you guys have everything on board for a perfect trip!
Delta's TATL economy product really is a lot better than the reputation of the US3... Their new cabins in the A330 are super nice. Last year we were able to choose between THREE main courses for dinner on MSP-ATL, with the option of a nice and tasty kale salad as well as usual pasta or chicken... Love Delta ❤️
I went from NY JFK to AMS Schiphol by Delta on a Boeing 767-300 last year. Economy class was clearly new on the plane and the catering was the same as in the video. Delta performed surprisingly good and I definitely do recommend them! ... And btw keep on the great work Simply Aviation, love your tripreports! lg aus NÖ :)
I did the same thing back in 2005, we weren’t even airborne for 6 hours, and on the way back, I flew from Cdg-iah, that’s the longest flight I’ve ever been on. I hope to change that next fall, when I climb Kilimanjaro, so far Emirates is looking like the airline for that, with a flight from Ohare to Dubai.

Delta is stepping up their game on all classes that have Delta One service. The 767-400 is still a fine intercontinental aircraft and Delta has many.

Delta, isn't as glitz and glamour as say Middle Eastern or Asian Carriers, but they get the job done and as we could witness in your report... they keep you fed. Great report!

WOOW!!! Never expected such a very attentive and familliar inflight-service onboard a DELTA long-haul-flight. The food- and drink selection was looking so very good-filling.

My wife and I are flying to Rome in November on a Delta 767 plane seats 34 F & G. Amazing the same seat numbers as you. This will be our first flight to Europe and was excited to see your very detailed video. We heard a lot of good things about Delta to Europe where they treat you very well and you will not be hungry on their flight and you proved that. Thank You!!!!

Thanks for another great TRIPREPORT, David. I really like how you and Felix 'call it like you see it' and put together a consistently good product.
As for the Delta flight, I've done a lot of trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific in the last ten years, but I've never flown long-haul on Delta. That catering sure impressed me, and I think I'll add Delta to my list of possible carriers for longer flights in the future.
As for Passport Control at CDG, I've endured my share of waits around Europe (although not usually at VIE during my quarterly visits) and I recall some long waits at FRA, but 40 minutes should not be acceptable.

Delta Air Lines are my favourite for service alone. They never let you go hungry and if there are any problems they won't rest until they fix the problem. I LOVE DL!!
Excellent trip report. Kudos to Delta. 767's are super quiet, and very comfortable in coach due to the two plus four plus two seating.

Nice video, Simply Aviation! The Boeing 767-300's should be used for flights between Orlando, Florida and the northern U.S. and the Boeing 767-400's should be used on international flights between North America and South America.

Paris airport is one of the most equiped airport in terms of automated gates as this technology is actually French (Safran Morpho) but as we are still in high security alert they are desactivated. However if you are a frequent Flyer with gold status minimum you can still use some of them in some terminals
