Honestly I just love how positive David is, what with praising the little things like clean windows and the bigger things like the meal. I get that airlines (as for-profit businesses) do a lot to piss us off, but sometimes we forget how amazing it is that we can actually fly. Another amazing video.

Anybody feel the pain when walking past first class to go to economy
can't feel the pain since i've never tried first class before.
I honestly feel that pain more during the check-in.

If you were flying from EWR, Newark Liberty International Airport, you would have seen security tackle the little kid who open the security door and drag him/her in cuffs. Now that would have been an interesting trip report.
A really good video. Not everyone can afford to travel in Business Cabins and the majority of people can’t afford even Economy flights. The way you’ve done it shows an appreciation for simply having the opportunity to take such a flight. Well done 👍🇹🇹

I flew Air France round trip Toronto - CDG. I found this to be my most favorite airline! I enjoyed the service and have never experienced the quality of service on any other airline!!
This is the video combined my favorite 3 things about aviation: Air France, CDG Airport and Atlanta Airport. So this is truly an amazing video to me
I love aviation as much as you do, but CDG is a shitty Airport. It ruinied my hole A380 experience!

I don't know why so many people hate CDG so much. There are much better airports but there are also much worse. I've been there many times and it's not that bad compared to LHR, FRA, MAD and other European Airports...
If you want to catch a connecting flight from long haul to a regional destination you have to take the bus, which takes almost 40 min.
So in my case, you would miss the connection, because the gate closed 10 min. ago. Nice one! And this happened twice.
Well, guess you're right. But European airports are quite good. compared to us ones. My worst experiences so far: O Hare and JFK.
Watching these videos makes me want to finally get my passport and do a lot of traveling. I can't wait till the pandemic is over, I'm going to start saving now. My graduation gift to myself will be a trip to Kenya 😁

What an AWESOME captain! During his pre-arrival announcement, he gave both the landing runway and the landing weight at CDG! I wish more pilots gave such detailed announcements

As a frequent flyer with several airlines I can tell Air France has made so much progress ! I really enjoy this airline, way better than Emirates and the likes. They can improve their passengers’ experience at Paris CDG though. But definitely one of my favorite three for sure !

Air France and KLM are two of my favorite airlines! I always enjoy flying on them! I also love their new stylish campaign! The safety video is one of my favorites too!

I remember going on one of these to Tokyo from Paris in 2018 but I slept through the whole flight, missed all the meals and the entertainment system (probably one of my biggest regret in travelling) 😅

I'm with you 100% in your closing comments about what flying Economy should be like (great food; extensive IFE; motivated, friendly crew; modern plane). A few years ago, I had the pleasure of flying Air France (Boeing 777) Economy between Paris and Washington D.C., and my trip pretty much mirrored yours. (The only difference was, at that time, they were serving mini-baguettes instead of smaller dinner rolls.) Thanks so much for sharing: it brought back many wonderful memories.

Took the same flight early September. The plane was full (every long haul i take from ATL is usually packed) so ive started using AA at CLT for hops to Europe. For us in economy it makes a big difference having empty seats around, plus the A330 is my fav with the 2 seats on window instead of the 3. Great trip report, I do miss the AF experience!

AirFrance offerts always a very elegant products I think. And the quantity of movies and series gosh...! The menu card I am living for this! (The beverages Cappuccino!) and they arrived with 20 minutes before time schedule... I wish I will take a flight with AF soon :)
umm...just flew this plane (Boeing 777 300er) with Air France from Montreal to Paris. Could not have been more different. The entertainment system, while not broken, as it was on the outward bound journey, was so decrepit as to be unwatchable. There were no USB outlets or electrical. The seats had that old punched out feel to them, the food was inedible and the cabin staff rushed and rude. Myself I would never fly Air France again. In contrast to Lufthansa & BA, Air France was a complete failure.

It cracks me up how they show a gazillion flights to Paris and they are all the same two flights. This codeshare thing is getting out of hand! LOL I am going to Berlin next month and I will be flying Air Canada (777 one way and Dreamliner back). I heard so many bad things about AC that I am actually looking forward to it. But the ticket was super cheap, too and it also involves Air Canada Rouge flights which are supposed to not so great. Again, I can't wait and I will probably to a flight report on my own. I have been watching yours for a while now and hope to have learned something (except editing)... Your trip reports are my favorites. I have seen so many that were sooooo boring. And not nearly as detailed as yours. Thank you!

I must say, I got a great deal and I wanted to check out Canada - the airports... We'll see. Next time I may use BA from Phx to LHR.

Air France is a truly exeptional airline. I can't get my head around the fact that Atlanta is the world's busiest airport. I just can't (geographically) work it out, I know it's true because you said it and I've heard it mentioned elsewhere as well. Odd. Does anyone have an answer to this?
It’s the busiest because just about every Delta flight is to/from Atlanta. (They are he biggest airline in the word). Huge numbers are connecting only and not to visit Atlanta.
Flugzeug Dokus. Yeah, this making some sense. I mean Frankfurt isn't an especially huge city, but it's the main hub in Germany for example, because of location.

I've traveled with Air france from São Paulo to London, with a stop on Paris. But before I've watched your video to check out how is to travel with them. I need to tell you: one of the best flights I've ever had
The loop in the Seine visible at 17:02, just west of Rouen, is a place called Jumièges. There is a ruined Benedictine abbey on the land within the loop, that dates back to 654. The Vikings burned it down, but it was rebuilt in the mid 900s by William Longspree, the Duke of Normandy. The year after the Norman Invasion of Britain, 1067, William the Conqueror attended the consecration of a new church at this abbey. The abbey became a great center of medieval scholarship.
Great review.I have flown in a same AF jet from Panama to Paris and I think that the legroom was not that good for a guy of my height(1,84m).For me was the worst one I have experienced in a long flight route.

Yessssss. You will live Brisbane airport, hopefully customs doesn't take too long for ya. I got to skip all the lines cuz I had an Aussie passport and just used the E Passport technique. Also the burger place next to subway is good I recommend it :D

When I fly I always go through Atlanta, because my local airport is smaller. I remember seeing a lot of those gates!
Your videos are always the best! I’m going to be flying a similar route with Air France next year, and it will be my first time with them. If they are anything like their SkyTeam counterparts, Delta and KLM, I️ know it will be an amazing flight!

Great trip report and this AF 777 looked really nice, unfortunatelly I've totally different experience (you can check my trip report on my channel) in was Paris to Punta Cana also in 777-300 ER, but old IFE that didn't work properly, flight crew that dissapear after meal service for 6 hours, no food selection and even that one food wasn't good (was ok on the way to Punta Cana, but not good on the way back). So it really depends which route you fly with Air France.
