Don’t feel silly for feeling relaxed building LEGO, that is absolutely part of their appeal to so many people. I used to work at a LEGO store, and so many people told me how calming it is for them to build.

Hearing Slice of Life made me want a pizza because pizzas come in slices, but the toilet talk kind of changed my mind 😂 what a whiplash of emotions
Also a positive thing that happened recently is I got my eyes checked and am getting my first pair of glasses! I’ve had headaches and slightly blurred vision most of my life and haven’t had the money to get them, so I can’t wait!!
And now I want pizza too

Good Thing: I went into town on my own on the bus (I have really bad anxiety and agoraphobia). I went to 4 shops, didn't cry, then got the bus to pick up Mother's Day flowers and walked home. I didn't panic, I nearly cried but didn't!!

No way! We are even twinning with our oatmilk in our coffee this week!😂 I also started using oatmilk only diffrent reason, because the cows are treated like shit here.

Haha, when I went to Oslo 2 years ago, there was a heatwave, so it was around 30 degrees Celsius all week 😂 But in The Netherlands (where I live) it was even hotter during that week, so it was definitely somewhat cooler, but not much lol!

Nooo I was super keen for a study in drowning 😭 but it is sad to know it is really boring... I think dark academia can walk the line. "Curtis was supposed to LOVE me" is such an iconic moment and scene. I love that musical. YES Kindred is one of my favourite books of all time and is the best place to jump into Octavia's work. So glad you loved it too 🥰
Kindred is so good, glad you enjoyed it. One great thing that happened to me this week was a very successful presentation I gave at work. :) Made me really happy because I felt so competent.

I so relate to the coffee thing. First I switched from 2-3 Coffees a day to one. Then I switched to almond milk and now I switched to decaf and suddenly I am less bloated, less anxious and sleep better (who would have thought) :D.
I also love that we are both entered our LEGO Phase right now. :D I recently build the Orchid and on the weekend I build the X Wing Fighter and now I am already wanting to get a new set but they are so prices. 😫
My good thing this week: Just finished Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb and it's the best book I've read so far this year. 5 stars - absolutely amazing!

Omg your mum getting you sushi is so wholesome ❤❤❤ also, totally get the caffeine making you bloated. I had to completely give it up because of severe pain (and also heart palpitations) but I’ve become addicted to drinking cocoa tea from Knoops and Korean buckwheat tea so it’s all good!

Highlight of my week-finally got to visit Middle East Books and More in DC. Was a great little shop. Bought a few books by Palestinian authors.

Almonds make me bloated too! I was eating almond yogurt for a year and felt so bloated then one day made the connection. Now I do oat everything and feel so much better! Glad you made the change 😊

Omg you're coming here to Norway! It's beautiful here, especially outside/around Bergen with all the big cliffs and fjords. I've got family from there and live there each summer. But it's beautiful literally everywhere in the West. But I've heard "Nord Norge" = North Norway, and the south is as well lol. Like anywhere but here in the east of Norway has beautiful nature, to be honest. Have fun

I love that you found Lego as your go-to for relaxing and letting the day go. I've taken up puzzles again recently and was working on one while I watched this video.
My good vibes check: I spent the weekend in Toronto (I live a couple of hours away) so I could watch the Aladdin musical (which I didn't overly like, so that was a bummer start to the trip), the play "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead" starring Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan (who are amazing and play off of each other so well), and then finally I saw Six the musical--which I loved! Toronto's Jane Seymour seems to be out for an extended period so they brought in one of Broadway's Janes and she fit in so well with these Queens.

I had to buy a book once because it was for a book club and I had reserved it at the library way in advance but the person who borrowed before me still hadn't returned it over a MONTH after the due date! I waited for eight weeks for no reason. I was so mad! Why can't people just return their books?!
On the plus side, I loved the book so I'm not as upset that I own it but still.

I feel that. I wanted to read One Piece vols 21 and 22 and my library only has one copy of each, now the person before me needed to have returned them by Halloween… I finally got them on the 19th December… oh I was pissed. Also they smelt strongly of strawberry lipgloss so that was an experience.
I just finished Bride and really enjoyed it. Gets a bit spicy toward the end. And by the way, Jason Moana's favorite color is pink according to him on his series 'On The Roam'.

About amazing things happening: I did a workout that I procrastinated for a bit 💪🏽 I did all sorts of other workouts in between while pushing this in front of me like an unwanted cart. Also new mildliners arrived and I am currently awaiting my One Piece omnibus covering volumes 97, 98, 99 (which I havent read yet as I left Wano 2020 to be finished and never caught up xD).
Best of Luck. I am on Discworld #7 Pyramids by Sir Terry Pratchett. The reading is slow because I am carefully making pencil notes noting philosophies, geographies, topographies, 'sciences' and all aspects of a massive world building Sir Terry Pratchett constructed.
