- We get an inside look at Keystone Valley's fully renovated Fire Department in Parkesburg, PA! We learn the history of this beautiful station and how it was remodeled to be the fire station. They did a great job keeping the outside of the building looking historical, but making the inside of the building brand new! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer fire fighter for Station 8, or if you just want to learn more about the history of the station, please visit them at www.kvfd8.com!

We toured an EMS station in Lancaster County, PA! This station plays a crucial part in keeping their community safe!

Interesting to see how some communities struggle with providing ALS care. I've always lived in an area where a paramedic is on every ambulance(provided by a private company or a fire department), as well as having a paramedic on every engine and truck company. Good thing that station was able to rent out a space for that paramedic response suv!
Can you do station rings on rescue 8 please
Seems professionaly done, good host. Tks
Thanks for watching!
My favourite station so far!!!
Love the ambulance unit!🚑
Lovley station.

My hometown Conway Arkansas has a memorial for 9/11 has a huge piece of the South Tower in the base of it is made out of 343 bricks each one for every firefighter that died each one of them has their name engraved on them. And then I have around it a timeline of that morning
The day they open the time capsule is my birthday
That’s awesome
I loved this . Will you do any California stations ?
That's the plan! Within the next year we are hoping to start going across the country! What station are you at?
Send contact information to Watchheroesnextdoor@gmail.com. We will contact you and see if we can work something out.
Do Blue Rock Regional Fire & Rescue. In Lancaster County. 6 dept's joined together for money purposes. Very busy w/Millersville University.
That sounds awesome! Do you have a contract for someone there?

If you ever come to California there is a large newish station in Sonoma county California called graton fire department
We are trying to get there. We just are not big enough yet without assistance of some kind. We are working hard to grow so we can make it happen. Thank you for watching.
Does the fallen firefighters memorial also function as a sundial?
Not this memorial, Minquas in Downingtown, PA has a memorial that is a sundial though. Definitely a cool idea to do for a memorial!
Tanker 8 has a 3200 gallon tank
My fire department actually bought their old engine I remember that we bought it to replace our old engine
That's awesome! What station are you at?

bet they developed some thick skin during the consolidation process
I know this will likely sound like a negative comment but.... You folks are talking about COVID in the present tense. Why don’t you have a mask on? I work in a fire station where masks are mandatory for everyone in the building. If we head out on an EMS call then we switch to an N95 mask. I recognize that it makes recording audio difficult for your video but you are standing right next to your interview subject. Time to change your SOP.
This was filmed when COVID restrictions were lifted for the time being, it has since gone back to wearing masks, but during the summer they didn’t require them at time of filming.
Understood. That makes sense. I appreciate your response and sharing some great “fire cribs”. Keep up the strong work!
Too much Pennsylvania stations
I live here. Also need to budget to travel.
