the oldest member of BTS Jin is now enlisted in the korean military! he was actually going to college studying to be an actor when he was grabbed by a talent scout from big hit entertainment now HYBE labels corporation in 2011 to audition for the company he auditions to be an actor. but they put him in BTS with no experience in singing or dancing he had to learn both. V a member of BTS only accompanied a friend of his to an audition to give him support. He was talked into auditioning, and he sang beatbox wrapped danced and play the saxophone. He was the only one that passed the auditions and signed on with big hit entertainment! About seven or eight years ago he acted in a South Korean TV drama while still participating as a member of BTS. In 2014 BTS went to Los Angeles CA where they acted in a reality TV show about themselves called American Hustle life. While in LA they recorded their fourth album and had their first concert in the United States! Actually, there are many facets to the K pop industry to be in a K Pop Idol group you have to learn singing dancing rapping acting aspects of makeup wardrobe stage presence and a lot of other things. J hope who is also serving in the Korean military now. became a street dancer at the age of 10 that's probably Korean age so in the United States he would have been 8 maybe 9. Who won awards for dancing competitions somehow, he ended up auditioning for big hit they will put him in the BTS and wanted him to be a rapper he like Jen learned to dance sing and rap starting from zero. The youngest member Joan cook story is that he joined BTS at the age of 15 he was probably 13 US age. Jimin actually has a background in contemporary dancing.

BTS - Airplane Pt. 2 (it's a Japanese language song but the sound is definitely very Latin inspired and the video is pretty great.
J Hope and Becky G - Chicken Noodle Soup (JHope is the main dancer from BTS) and the song is in 3 languages: Korean, Spanish and English.
Super Junior and Leslie Grace - Lo Siento (Super Junior is the oldest active Kpop group)

Super Junior - Ahora Te Puedes Marchar - it's a remake of Luis Miguel's 1987 song, sung entirely in Spanish - and recreates the so bad its good mv.

Bts are known for multilayered lyrics. BTS fans dont mind longer reactions if you want to an explaination section after like Doolset. Especialy when songs like DDaeng the title word is used with multiple meanings. They are not afraid of deep meaningful lyrics so many of the songs you will be missing so much if you do not check out the lyrics. Have you reacted to the highly entertaining Guide to the BTS members by Taylor Mari. I have seen non kpop fans forget to react whilst watching it. I think you would enjoy it. Make dure you have subtitles in English for rhe Korean bits.

BTS is the biggest group in the world since The Beatles in the 1960s! Technically BTS ARMY FANS (BTS's fandom name) we do not consider them K pop they are bigger than K pop.
BTS does pop jazz Blues EDM hip hop rap Latin pop and many other genres they are not a pop group. Technically K pop is not pop music either it is the popular music industry of South Korea. popular music is not pop music. Search for popular music of the 40s fifties 60s artist like Dean Martin Perry Como Andy Williams listen to them they do not sound like pop music do they. They were popular music artists of those decades, but they were not pop music artists in today's pop music category. Like I mentioned BTS is the biggest group since The Beatles the first group since The Beatles to have three number one albums in less than one year. The first group and billboard music chart history to have three songs in three different languages Korean English Japanese on billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time!
Since mid 2020 with the release of their first all English song Dynamite, they have accumulated 5 songs which debuted at #1 on billboard Hot 100 only three of these were in English the other two were in Korean. The only South Korean artist to have five albums debut at #1 on billboard Hot 100. Five-time Grammy nominees BTS one artist of the year at the American Music Awards in 2022 bleeding out all the English-speaking artist in that category in the United States. Their songs have and albums have has achieved #1 status in 65+ countries in the world. They have 65 + million fans in countries all over the world.
Hello there 👋, Can't get into the music (same with classical and other music genre), but K-drama's (seen a few) hit different than a mexican telenovela😅😂, i prefer international tv & movies

In BTS music videos and performance videos just like all other artists BTS are lip syncing! you can tell because they are not holding microphones or have head microphones on. they have performed live at the Grand Central Terminal New York City New York State USA on the tonight show starring jimmy Fallon. at the United Nations general assembly, on a bridge over a river in Korea, in the United States on the billboard music awards, American music awards, America's got talent, good morning, America morning news show, the grammy awards, all the nighttime talk shows in the United States you can search for these live performances and react to them on TH-cam. along with live performances from their concerts Asian award shows.
