I have been told it’s Suga and not J-Hope riding the bike 😅 I’m sorry guys…apparently I’m blind and can’t pick out my own bias 🙃 Also we know about the extra blank time at the end, please ignore it 😅 it’s to much work to take the video down and upload again for something that doesn’t affect the video ☺️
The thing about Blood, Sweat and Tears is that everything in the video has meaning. There's way too much to go into a simple comment, but ultimately its about understanding that we have both good and bad within us - and we need to see the evil that is within ourselves so we can find a balance. It's based upon a book by Herman Hesse called Demien (the quote that you hear from RM is from the book) where a young man takes a journey through temptation and self-discovery. Jungian themes, Icarus and the fall of man are just a few of the things. If you want to understand the mv better (in fact the entire BTS storyline) there are some excellent explanation mvs, including one from XCeleste. I will say this was probably the most anticipated MV in the history of Kpop.
That stunned reaction to Jimin and the synchronized “wow” are extremely relatable. 😂 “[Take away] my cold breath” indeed. Don’t let the toys at the start fool you, the boys did NOT come to play here. 😅
Your synchronized “wow” for Jimin had me laughing so much. He is my bias…big time! This was the third song I ever heard from BTS….the same day as the first two songs. Finding out about the depth of their artistry through this song and especially this music video is what made me ARMY for life! Before the Wings album release, the guys went live to tell ARMYs about the concept and their inspiration. The concept is temptation and they used the book, Demian by Hermann Hesse, as a literary guide. To truly understand it all, you should definitely watch, Blood Sweat & Tears: What does it all mean? by the channel, Don’t Worry I’m Not Afraid. It always bodes well with ARMYs when we see BTS reactors who are willing to dig deep into the meaning of their songs. I don’t want to tell you too much because I truly want to see your reaction to the explanation. I will tell you that literally everything in the MV has meaning including the opening scene with the bicycle and slingshot. Have fun! Borahae💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This song was my introduction to BTS and to this day in 2024 it is still my all time favorite of all their works. Welcome to ARMY! Jimin said somewhere that the jacket coming off his shoulder was a complete accident and was not planned, but boy does it work. lol
I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it to you yet but I would love to see you guys react to the fan made series about Bts it is called “Rise of Bangtan” it has 21 episodes with bonus and deleted scenes for each episode. It’s on TH-cam and I would love to see you guys react to it. It goes from just before to debut to about 2019 (I might be off on that) it’s an unfinished series but it’s have so much information and so well done.
BTS music videos are marked to let you know that they're part of the storyline blood sweat and tears is part of the storyline the storyline started in 2015 with the song I need you. The storyline runs through all their albums up until around 2019. The storyline contains music videos short films highlight reels books as in novels notes as in Diaries a webtoon which in Korea is the online graphic novel you download it and read it and a video game their first video game. Later on about four or five years ago around 20/17/18 they made a second video game around 2020-2021 they made a second graphic novel webtoon.
Jimin Jimin Jimin, the “Wings” era was epic for Jimin. Have you checked out Serendipity, Lie, Filter, Like Crazy or Set Me Free Pt.2? Ooooh don’t wait, Jimin is doing captivating ❤
This MV is spectacular and you’re reaction was just how I imagined 😂 This song is beautiful and so are the men singing it! Ohh, so the one riding the bicycle in the beginning was actually Suga, but that’s okay!
It's based on the book, Demian by Hermann Hesse which explores the concept of fate, reality, life and death. As you can see, the MV has lot of symbolisms and artistic choices to represent those themes
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. So glad you liked it. Great song. Adore it. Jimin was amazing in this. His voice the dance the fit, chef's kiss! We learn here that Suga can play the organ just as good as he can play the piano. He so awesome! All of them sound seductive just a pleasure for the ears. They look like they are in a museum to me too. =0] I was so surprised by the choreo when i saw it seperate. They leave a lot out. Fire!=0p Also, pls check out the explanation video for this MV. V is a fallen angel to me. He gives in to temptation all of them do. If u read the lyrics and pay attention to the symbolism the song is clearly about temptation not a relationship. The song and MV fit well together. There are a lot of layers in this one. BTS won 8 awards that year for this album and MV. They just swept the award show. Best day ever! much deserved. Their songs usually have a surface meaning that is universal, deeper stories that are personal to them, a layer under that which is a more nuanced dive into things like history, philosophy, psychology, etc, and sometimes also story clues and context relating to the BU (Bangtan Universe) all in the same song. Their MVs add another layer to the art in terms of the clues and storytelling going on visually. Add to that their choreography which is not just dope moves, but nuanced performance art storytelling, with moves related to the themes and lyrics. Add to that the fact that the song structures themselves can tell part of the story, like a song done in all downbeat minor chords which is about being caught in lies you tell yourself which has a major, soaring and uplifting chord on the chorus which is itself a lie within the song. Or a song about the 7 of them continuing to make music together and be with ARMY, which is full of unusual 7th chords. Or a pause and silence in the song instrumentation when the lyrics say "I take a breath." Or a song that uses basketball sounds as all the percussion, like sneaker squeaks, ball sounds, etc. Add to that their short films and other media like their mobile game and webtoons and books and so forth that continue their stories. They. Are. Geniuses. The choreography in B,S&T is seductive because there is a seduction taking place. It is the guys who are being seduced away from their childhood by the temptations of the adult world. Ultimately, they must surrender to the darkness because that is how you grow up, by letting go of the innocence of childhood like Jin lets go of the balloon. It's melancholy to embrace the dark and say goodbye to childhood, but you don't plunge into the dark headfirst, you add it to the light as a duality. Just as Jin embraced Abraxis, the god of both Good and Evil, Light and Darkness, we all must carry that duality within us, the chaos, the shadows, that allows us to be fully realized adult people capable of growth and creativity or giving "birth to the dancing star." Once they surrender and the blindfold comes off, they are not left in that black and white world of the duality. Instead, the world bursts with new colors, the creative expression of which they are now capable. In the end Jin sees the shell of childhood cracking as his new self begins to emerge. This song is off the masterpiece album Wings, which is all inspired by Demian. But so many of their songs and albums are masterpieces and every album is a concept album with a story to tell and they ask you to listen to tracks in order because they are in a storytelling order. Albums are based on psychological theory, or philosophy, or life stages and passages or personal struggles and experiences. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series is about that moment between adolescence and adulthood, when you have to make real decisions as young adults, and the turbulence and challenges of those times. Jimin's album Face and BTS album BE are both pandemic albums, full of their pandemic struggles as well as the things that got them through. RM's album Indigo is the story of his 20s, triumphs, fears, lessons learned. Jungkook's album Golden and BTS album series Love Yourself all explore love in various ways, phases and types. V's album Layover tells a story of escaping and creating a virtual fantasy world where he can be together with BTS and ARMY, as told through songs about love, loss and longing. And so on.... ᴊɪɴɪᴍɪɴʀᴏʟʟꜱ said on 11/27/21; I'm saying this again so that you don't forget the order of the BU universe!! . One of the first things fans learn about BTS is they don't mess around when it comes to their music videos. Each of the group's visuals is stunning, and they never fail to leave the viewer thinking about its possible meaning behind it. As new fans start to piece together BTS' music videos, they begin to realize that many of them actually connect. The overarching storyline is known as the Bangtan Universe(BU), and it exists not just in BTS' visuals, but in their webtoons and short stories as well. Since it can get pretty complicated, here's every BTS video that's in the Bangtan Universe. . To summarize, the BU involves a fictional storyline that has all the BTS members playing their own character. These characters have their own backstory, but they all connect in some way. If you see certain scenes or symbols repeating in BTS' music videos, that's because fans concluded the story involves some very shocking stuff that I ain't spoiling, you have to figure the story out yourself😂. It can be difficult trying to differentiate which videos are part of the BU, but according to fans, those that belong to this world will have the words "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment" at the bottom of the video's description. However, just because some videos don't have it, doesn't mean they're not connected. According to fans, here's every BTS video that's in the BU. THE BU UNIVERSE VIDEOS IN ORDER THAT YOU HAVE TO REACT TO- . 1. "I Need U" MV (original version) 2. HYYH On Stage: Prologue 3. "Run" MV 4. "I Need U" MV (Japanese version) [its not really necessary to watch this but if you wanna get more details i guess you can watch it.] 5. Love Yourself Highlight Reels 11. Euphoria: Theme Of Love Yourself Wonder 12. "Fake Love" teasers 13. "Fake Love" MV (Extended version) 14. Jin's "Epiphany" 15. "Film out" MV [BTS' "Film Out" doesn't have anything about the BU listed in its video description, but ARMYs are convinced it's still part of the group's fictional world. Since it makes many references toward their "Fake Love" MV, fans think "Film Out" takes place in an alternate universe, which could explain its connection to the rest of BTS' visuals without being directly involved in the BU] After watching all of these and making your own theories you must wanna know the whole real story right? Can someone tell what's the name of the painting? I see chaos which is kind of the consequence of temptation but I think is a nice info to add...the other thing the depict is not only blindness but alucinations throug the absinthe they drink...then the wonderful lyrics 😍💯💜
The painting Jin stares at in the opening scene is The Fall of the Rebel Angels by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. There’s another Bruegel painting behind V when he jumps from the balcony (Landscape with the Fall of Icarus). Two more paintings of the Icarus myth appear in the room where Jungkook is on the swing and then suspended in the air. Behind him is Herbert Draper’s Lament for Icarus, and on the ceiling is Blondel’s Fall of Icarus.

I'm saying this again so that you don't forget the order of the BU universe!!
THE BU UNIVERSE VIDEOS IN ORDER THAT YOU HAVE TO REACT TO-
.
1. "I Need U" MV (original version)
2. HYYH On Stage: Prologue
3. "Run" MV
4. "I Need U" MV (Japanese version) [its not really necessary to watch this but if you wanna get more details i guess you can watch it.]
5. "Run" MV (Japanese version) [this is also not necessary unless u want more details]
6. Epilogue: Young Forever
7. Wings short films {1.Begin, 2.Lie, 3.Stigma, 4.First Love, 5.Reflection, 6.Mama, 7.Awake}
8. "Blood Sweat &Tears" MV
9. "Blood Swear &Tears" MV (Japanese version) [its necessary this time.]
10. Love Yourself Highlight Reels
11. Euphoria: Theme Of Love Yourself Wonder
12. "Fake Love" teasers
13. "Fake Love" MV (Extended version)
14. Jin's "Epiphany"
15. "Film out" MV [BTS' "Film Out" doesn't have anything about the BU listed in its video description, but ARMYs are convinced it's still part of the group's fictional world. Since it makes many references toward their "Fake Love" MV, fans think "Film Out" takes place in an alternate universe, which could explain its connection to the rest of BTS' visuals without being directly involved in the BU]
After watching all of these and making your own theories you must wanna know the whole real story right? Then you should watch the whole storyline summary + explained by xCeleste. [Watch the recent one] link- th-cam.com/video/2-DEu3ZJtEU/w-d-xo.html

Really wholesome and fun reaction, this MV is incredible !!
I saw your reactions to clips of them when they were younger when you watched their introduction video, and I think you'd have a great time reacting to their very first MV "No More Dream" 😉 The contrast with how they are now really is something. And if you need a bit more convincing, I'll just leave this here: "Baby. Jungkook. Rapping."
