Hey everyone! Hope the edit is ok. Literally got it finished 15 minutes before the video was set to go up and wasn't able to watch the final edit of the video before uploading. I tried really hard on the editing though! Hope you all enjoy!
I am really impressed, is absolutely incredible how talented you are. I wish I could have your patience and creativity, but the only thing I can do is copy your recipes
Your instructions for preventing cream cheese frosting "breaking" were very helpful! I wasted 3 bricks of cream cheese by mixing with my whisk attachment on the stand mixer, and couldn't figure out why it kept turning liquified and clumpy. I was definitely over-mixing as for a plain buttercream frosting. Thank you for your attention to these details!
So glad I could help! It took me awhile to figure it out. I did a lot of research and made it so many times and frustrated many times. You're very welcome!
ADORABLE!! Great work as always dear Lady! I did hear the high pitched whining quite loud this time that others have complained about before. It is annoying when You can hear it. Wonder what it is or why it has never come through to me before?? Things that make ya go hmmm...?? Have a spectacular holiday.
Thank you! I can too and i dont know if there is anything i can do. I think its interference with my wireless lavalir microphone. I looked up different ones but there are always so many reviews to sift though I don't know which one to get. I have a boom mic but that picks up so much background noise I don't want to use it. And I have a wired one which is a pain cause I can't move around with it though my coat. TH-cam content creation is a pain!
@@KetoUpgrade You have an incredible load creating beside the ridiculous editing etc. I don't know how You manage! I totally understand needing to read all the reviews & feel You are still stuck! I will go back & watch video where You had to go to boom mic & see if the whining was gone. I have never heard it before that's why I think it must be something else?? Weird others have heard it but it didn't come through my stuff?? 🤔🙄 Sending love & prayers for quick resolution what ever that may entail brilliant Lady!!
If i wasn't carnivore I would totally make it!!! It's the cutest cake. Vann is going to LOVE it. Much love being sent to you Alycia. I do wish there were decent carnivore desserts. I had made the oopsie cake - it's eggs separated and beaten. You add a block of cream cheese into it. It looks like a sponge cake. Lots of whipped cream. I'm loving carnivore. I've lost about 30 kgs. I always recommend your channel online. Take care. Happy Easter. 💗🐰🐇🐰💕
Yeah I couldn't do without my desserts. Thank you! I haven't tried because I would have to research carnivore and just don't have the time right now. And there are so many regular keto recipes I haven't figured out yet, lol.
Omg!!! That is just adorable. Thanks for sharing tips and tricks for frosting. Your vanilla cake is amazing. It’s been a while since I’ve made it, gonna have to make again, but try your frosting. Thanks for sharing. Have a great Easter, Van is gonna love that cake.
What if you weighed out your sweetener and then run it through a spice mill to powder it. Would that cut down on whip time or help reduce the cooling effect more?
Yes I mentioned that before in other videos. I do a bunch of different stuff while it's whipping though so I usually don't waste time. But I would waste time powdering all the sweetener I use cause I use so much it would take forever.
I love, love, love your recipes and instruction videos ❤ Thank you for the investment of your time and effort on our behalf! I do have a question concerning the powdered erythritol. Would powdered allulose or boca sweet work? I do not like the cooling effect. Thank you
Thanks! You're very welcome! Bocha sweet may work. I've had problems with allulose making my cakes wet after being in the fridge. I find the cream cheese helps mask the cooling more than a straight buttercream. I've also only added a little but of powdered erythritol then mostly powdered stevia to sweeten to desired sweetness.
Bocha sweet is the only other sweetener you could try for the frosting I think. Xylitol can be used for the cake but it is higher on the glycemic index, it effects some not others. Still low carb though if you don't care about that.
Hi Alicia, I’m one person. Can I make this as is and refrigerate it? Would it become hardened? If so how do I bring it to temp? Happy Holidays Alicia! I’m watching this on Christmas Eve. Hopefully, I can make it to top my 90sec mug cake. Thanks!
If I was one person I would make it portion it in small containers and freeze it. Then put in fridge to defrost overnight then take a little out to come to room temp as you want to use it. It gets hard in the fridge but you can scrap some out to come to room temp. As you want to use it! You're welcome!
Hi Alisha (hope I spelt that right) I have just been watching your video on how to make jam....I have problems getting Allulose in the UK they say it is banned here what could I use instead that won't crystallise ...I usually use Eyrithritol because I don't get an after taste with it....but I know you said that it would crystalise....love your videos...I have tried quite a few I also have a sweet tooth....T.I.A
Hi, yeah thats always a problem, I feel bad for the people over there when I make recipes with allulose. You can just use a little pure stevia and cook it down until it's a jam consistency. I would start with a little then adjust when the jam is close to the consistency you want.
We have a lemon tree in our backyard which produces heaps of lemons most of the year 😁 my freezer is “chock the block” of lemon zest and juice all the time ……… doesn’t matter how many I give away….there are always plenty on the tree. (I live in Melbourne OZ). 🦘🦘 This recipe looks great (as all your cakes do) will definitely be using your cream cheese frosting recipe. Thanks Alycia ❤😊❤

Amazing and creative skills you have Alycia! QUESTION: Do you think half the cream cheese recipe would be enough for 1 dozen cupcakes?
Thank you!!! Yep, one batch covers 24 cupcakes as long as you don't mound it too high.
I wish I could come over the cooking effect of erythritol and stevia , but I couldn’t ,no matter how long I beat it up for !!!!! Any idea anyone??
