    Excellent summary and well made video, good work! I've just finished reading the book and I'm keen to try a sprint, but I need to sell it to my colleagues first - I was looking for something exactly like this video to give them a quick overview.

    How about at first putting the dots on the backside of the notes to reduce subconscious herd instincts, group-think and get-along tendencies that are rock-hard stubbornly hard-wired into most of us? Also, the halo-effect can come into play.

    • @hqef616
      @hqef616 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure.

  • @jrlrsanders

    Super Outstanding. May a member or leader put both dots on one note; and may the leader put 2,3,or 4 on a note or card?

    This would also make a ridiculous party game or game show series where you’d start with a ludicrous happy ending, with anything from a grandiose goal, to a deeply embarrassing personal yet trivial one. 1-pager downloaded! (:

    This video is extremely helpful to understand Design sprint. But in the real world how many of u (Designer) can follow this strictly process for your client or office project???

    Jake Knapp says 7 is the magic team number. Not less than 7 like you said in the video. If you have too few, you will miss out on valuable ideas and contributions that could have been winning ideas. Too many and you'll run into communication difficulties, but 7 is perfect from the hundreds of Sprints he has run. Be careful you teach correct information or this process may become watered-down and ineffectual over time....

    What pre-reqs or exceptions should my team take note that may make or break the sprint method for us?

    How to implement this on a 1 designer team? Is it possible for 1 designer?

  • @UXSpecialist

    What is the voting criteria? What determines whether we put a dot on a post-it or not? Are they things we want to work on? Are they things we think are the biggest problems? What exactly is the reason to place a dot on something?

    • @DesignSprint
      @DesignSprint 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You typically vote for what you think would add the most value and that you think the the Team should prototype on day 4 and test on day 5

    • @UXSpecialist
      @UXSpecialist 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Design Sprint Interesting. Design by voting seems fun. Is the thing people vote for usually the thing that brings the most value? Maybe it is! :) most of the time... :)

    So far I have found 3 types of Design Sprint. 1) Branding Design Sprint. To find Vision, Mission & Goal. 2) Ops Design Sprint. To improve operations. 3) Product Conceptualization Design Sprint. Anything else??? 🤔
    Hmm.. so in short, Business Design Sprint, Service Design Sprint and Product Design Sprint.
    Comments???

    what is difference between design thinking by ideo and sprint by google ? can some one brief

    • @DesignSprint
      @DesignSprint 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Design Thinking typically lasts months while Sprint is compressed over 5 days. We love to see it as a pragmatic way to integrate Design Thinking in a project or an organization

    • @RajivNarayanan
      @RajivNarayanan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Anybody wishes to be a part of a "success group"? Let's work as a team to achieve our goals which would increase the odds of being successful rather than doing it alone since we'd be able to complement our skills working together.
