One of my favorite capture devices is my cell phone camera. While having my weekly review I look at my photos. For example while mowing the lawn and I run across an item that needs to be fixed I just pull out the phone take a picture of the item and continue on.

BUY THIS BOOK!!! i did, years ago and although my system has subtle (minor) differences to the one summarised here, I have absolutely relied on it ever since. The hardest part is listing absolutely every little task, job, project, actions and anything else on your mind or in your tray, but once done, the clarity and sharp sight that comes from a cleared mind is priceless. Now every single time a new task, idea, thought or challenge comes my way it gets processed instantly and can be forgotten about until review or an action demands further action or if anything becomes urgent. The joy of having a record of the things you have completed is a fantastic by product, especially when things don't quite go as planned or a simple task starts a chain reaction that leads into a rats nest. This book saved my mind!

This is a superb resume of Getting Things Done and summarises it's core ideas perfectly. I bought this book in 2007 and it has totally transformed both my work and home life. My own version of the frequent task review may not be weekly and sometimes not even monthly but I have total dominion over every single item demanding action. Some items on my list are still there from 2007 but cause me little worry because they still get acted upon, reviewed or knocked off the list if they become overtaken by events. The relief from stress of having a place holder for every single thing of importance, big or small, cannot be overstated. I use a 'can I do this in less than five minutes' as oposed to the two minutes suggested in the book as this seemed to work better for me. This is a great review and I seriously believe anyone who wants to manage a multitude of seemingly overwhelming tasks as effectively and efficiently as possible should buy this book.

Excellent Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Sanailey Inconceivable System (search on google)? It is a good exclusive product for getting the success you deserve using this proven betting system minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my old buddy Taylor finally got astronomical success with it.

Can’t recommend this book enough. The beauty of the GTD system is that it’s just that: a system. If you get the 3 core principles of capture, process, and review down, there are limitless ways to personalize and execute. For the longest I used digital apps and formats but I found it to easy to ignore sometimes. This year I’ve combined GTD with a Bullet Journal and I’m loving the transition to analog and I’m back to stress free productivity!

I read the book twice and implemented it. When I did, I felt I processed things that didn't matter to me, so your suggestion at 3:40's a new key for me. "Do I want to act on this?" No? Someday/Maybe it.

I just want to say this is a great video you've made. I've listened to many if your other videos every time I'm showering. This one stuck out to my and grabbed my attention a little better than the others because of the faster music and the way you spoke with your variations in speed, rhythm, and intonations etc. I just wanted to acknowledge that and think your doing a great job with these valuable videos on self improvement. The music could maybe be lowered a point or two tho. Cheers!

I doubt anyone will read my comment 4 years later, but revisiting this video now I wanted to share a quick hack. In the shower, if you have blank walls(especially an easily cleaned surface), you can use a china marker or grease pencils to take notes on your walls.
(EDIT: Also, to clean it off, just use dawn dish soap and non-scratch scotch-brite)
