Read this book, took notes, and using its strategies. This summary helped break down things even easier, into actionable steps that are more concise than the book itself.
Great summery. I loved the point about what people say they will buy versus their actual buying behavior. I am a TH-camr and sell Ebooks and coaching and I find that statement to be very true. Love your summaries. Will definitely pick up this book.
In terms of gathering peoples feedback, you could quickly create a page online with messaging option... and then share it with your targetted user. That way you could easily keep track of the data and don't have to repeat the concept to people. Maybe to build pages, use tools like Wix, GatherThoughts etc
Very good book. I think the pivot and persevere idea was one of the best ideas. Maybe showing one of the examples in the book would have been a good idea to drive home the point. I also remember the book talking about the viral coefficient which may have been worth mentioning. Good video overall, keep up the good work :)
Can you tell me the name of the video creation software that you are using please? Excellent videos, thank you very much... I recommend the author MJ DeMarco, either one of his books or both... The Millionaire Fastlane or Unscripted, they a re really good... Thanks again for your excellent job and your attention...
I used to think that way 5 years ago when i started, only to realize that patents and IP are not that valuable as we may think. In today's world, every good product patented or not, can still be copied legally and will undoubtedly face harsh competition
I wanna build an online video course platform similar to udemy in a specific niche that I believe is worth the hustle. Any thoughts on how to do the smokescreen mvp? Ty.
Well I think it helps. Some Times the more I watch videos about lean start up, it shows up more clearly that this is the common sense that everybody is talking about. The "common sense"..
So, are people normally willing to give a down payment to pre-order something they might receive in the future? Let's say that I had this great idea, and my landing site exhibited an explanatory video. One potential client liked the concept. Are they really going to pre-order?
Sorry about that, my email responder is having issues at the moment. Please email me at nathan.productivitygame@gmail.com with 'Lean' in the subject, and I'll send you a copy.
If you put your idea out there before your ready to bring it to the public, isn't there a chance that someone with money, will see the idea and take it to market before you??? Just wondering???
Yes but more often than not, your idea will be disregarded by potential competitors... Also, as one of my teachers used to say, an idea is nothing until it is executed properly... Which basically means that you can't have an idea stolen... You just have to make it happen, and do it better than anyone else!
I can help with coding skills app just tiny website looks nice on smaller screen. Squished distorted, you have set boxes, text, buttons. They clicked by listener waits finger. Clicked to new page, linked together. Keep it simple stupid is cry of programer. Programer has tuff job learning the entire system from bare metal to new tech stack. Your channel is the greatest thing on youtube.
Having this know-how is pretty cool and all but we all know that the work that needs to be put is what makes a difference.
In terms of gathering peoples feedback, you could quickly create a page online with messaging option... and then share it with your targetted user. That way you could easily keep track of the data and don't have to repeat the concept to people.

@@blackbox1024/videos I do agree with you, putting it like that in a sentence makes so much sense. Thank you!
Eris Ries mentions patents in his book. His opinion is that the patent system should change the rules and become more flexible.
The way you present the information forces to complete watching to end :)
By the way, which whihtboard software do you use to produce your videos?
Why the link to download the summary pdf isn't working?

How’d it work out?
Well I think it helps. Some Times the more I watch videos about lean start up, it shows up more clearly that this is the common sense that everybody is talking about. The "common sense"..
Thanks PG!
The Monopoly + Risk game sounds like it should be called TrumpLand: Buy up properties while amassing an army to take out your opponents.
What's the difference between Smoke Screen MVP and Fraud?
Tesla after musk and tesla before musk respectively
I have service providing start up relate to financial.for that HOW TO BUILD AN EARLY VERSION TO VALIDATE A CRITICAL ASSUMPTION.
If someone create a Monopoly with Risk combine game that actually work. You can take my money! Please, because that’s two of my childhood right there
So, are people normally willing to give a down payment to pre-order something they might receive in the future?
Let's say that I had this great idea, and my landing site exhibited an explanatory video. One potential client liked the concept. Are they really going to pre-order?
It happens if you have established rapport and trust with your audience.
Super....
Even before you build an MVP, validate your idea first. Don't spend money and months building an MVP.
great summery but eric ries didn't talk about the risk may face
The link to the PDF seems to be broken : (

Has anyone ever wondered why he spent that much effort to draw the hair relatively to the outline of the face?
