I took your idea and played around a little bit with the ballast and power restrictor, and I got an ideal setup nailed that's just gold: 600hp/1480kg. That way, I can get up to 315km/h on the main straight while still being able to no-stop. On my best run, I ran a 02:04 flat and lapped the field. On average, this car can sit on 02:05s all day, and with luck you'll even be able to lap the whole field. Just brilliant.
i admit that i suck, but with this tune i can get a consistent 2:13 and finally win this race after trying dozens of other cars and never coming in above 8th. thanks for the tip!
You can also tune this car for the 700PP Le Mans race and you will be so far ahead of the pack towards the end of lap 7 that you can just park the car in front of the finish line and wait 45 seconds for the timer to tick away before crossing the line in first. The next closest opponent will be over 2 minutes behind you. It's a great car. Only downside is there is no interior in VR so your head sticks out of the roof.

I always win almost every race with ease, but I can't understand why this one was suddenly exponentially harder than anything else. So it was extremely frustrating at first when nothing worked at all. I tried this with automatic at first, but it was just ridiculous. Probably won't go 12 laps with one tank and takes forever to shift. So I tried manual for the first time and it went surprisingly well. I won 2 times in a row, easily, and lapped 2 cars. But I had the advantage of not pitting. Think my best lap was around 2:10 with plenty of mistakes to iron out. This will probably be my main money grinding method for now. I usually do the 30 minutes race of Circuit de la Sarthe with my Citroën Gr.4. It's a fun race but the random rain is annoying. This is at least consistent.
Clean race bonuses are only lost if all 4 tires cross the line or you make contact hard enough to damage your car (if your car icon doesn't flash damage it's clean (from hitting cars)

So after struggling a bit with cars that I had tuned, I decided to just try the ‘06 Ford GT since it was already just over 600 pp. Put some ballast on it and no other changes, and got p1 clean race on my first try with it! I usually end up having to do one stop at the end of lap 9, but by then I’m already 20+ seconds ahead of 2nd and can get back out in front. Definitely gonna try this to save time and earn more per hour though ❤ Thanks for the guide
The setup still works with slightly other settings after the patch, im a little bit slower in the beginning. After round 7 i reached 1st place and keep gaining distance to the others. Best round 2:10 Early shifting with manual and early breaking works perfectly. Barely won with a ford gt, mediums on, power dropped and balast added to drop to 600 pp, gonna try this one now.Also used a semi-pro gearbox, and capped the top speed at 320 kph which helped a lot.
UPDATE: I was wrong with my initial assessment. @Doughtinator is totally correct! I initially only looked at the weight to power ratio as a main metric. I was able to score a 1st place with 50ish seconds lead. I’m still working on getting better lap times (fastest was 2:10). My vehicle ended up having 499hp but it still was able to keep up and pass others. For a 3,000lb car that’s amazing given the competition. I believe the main factor is as you mentioned the fuel consumption that allows a no-pit strategy. Equally impressive were the breaks. Somehow this car did outbreak everyone at the last right double corner before the straight. Couldn’t do that with all other tries. Thank you for enabling non-pro drivers to win this race! ❌“Can’t get it to 599 pp without reducing the hp to 500 from 799… just blew 1 million credits on something that cannot keep up on the straight line even with the slowest cars… maybe the pp discrepancy is due to the recent update”❌

This is one of my favorite events for sure. I just love the east layout of this track and I make a lot of custom races on this layout. Every time I turn this game on I do this event first, make a quick 825k and then do whatever. This car is great but there are a lot of very fun cars to use. The 17 GT-R, Escudo, EVO 3, Cappuccino, Focus RS and the Focus rally car are my favorites. I literally do this race every day, I will always use this as my warmup.
@@Doughtinator I try to use a new car every time but it doesn't always work out. It's still a difficult event no matter how good you are. I tried the BMW vgt yesterday and it didn't work out as I hoped. The car handles great but was way too slow
Thanks D, i finally won this race, although i had to do it on easy as i was only managing a 2:13 lap. Kokburn was a real pain with a quickest lap of 2:09. Also, I just won the mini at goodwood using nitros, those 2 races have been bugging me a long time.
I'll give it a try. I've tried several different builds and haven't had much luck, although I'm probably not as good a driver as most. Just gotta practice more!
The Honda beat with the civic swap is insane, fully tuned to the max and still under 600pp, full lean still doing 210mph, will have to do some laps less throttle to have enough fuel, can do sports soft and pit half way for only tires or do hards and not pit, with softs I've got a 2:04 fastest lap, win race leading 2nd by over 1:10, 24 to 25 minutes for full race
@archiecampbell404 if you need help with tunes lmk, also it is one of the harder cars to keep the clean race bonus as It has way less downforce, easy to get 1st but harder to control
I use a stock Chevy ZR1 C6 sports hard 91 power restrictor and can turn a 2:08. I haven't been able to go faster with any other car. It also passes every car on the straight, so stay away from cars until the straight. It needs to pit though. Edit: If you are just looking for the fastest and easiest way to get this track done, a tuned GT-R '17 with comfort hard tires can do a lap in 1:52, but you have to wall-ride. My fastest total time is 24:12. That is way faster than not wall-riding.
I think they've nerfed this car. I copies exactly but PP slightly different. No problem. But car will not go above. 149mph so even at full speed losing 15s a lap. UPDATE: yeah needs to be Manual. Which sucks. Its a fun race but Sardegna is better for farming I think. Thanks though
Yep I think this invite glitch is deliberate. I've been waiting almost 2 years for the Ferrari invite. I got it about 2 months after gt7 was launched but I had no credits. Been stuck just short of owning every car for at least 9 months now. Just need those Ferrari's and now more recently the car that requires you to buy a super expensive watch. I still think the tokyo express 600pp king is the wall riding escudo. Long time since I done it but got the time down to around 21.27 I think.
Cappuccino is way faster get out front, stay out front! Lap time 1.06. Fully swapped and upgraded is still under 600 pp. The only reason I'd drive this one would be a change of pace. It gets monotonous winning and winning 1 lap ahead of the whole grid
We need more endurance races at Spa, Monza, Bathurst, Suzuka, Brands Hatch, The Glenn, and Road Atlanta. It's a pity we don't have Road America, and Sebring.
I don't know what's going on, but you're turning me into a decent driver. I won, and my last 8 laps were all within about 2.5 seconds. I can do 2:12 on the controller.
Yh I was using this car for ages after the tomahawk got patched, had a tune posted as well. Have been using the engine swap cappuccino now as its faster but a bit more annoying to drive. The escudo is a wall ride tune.

After the first few corners I wondered if I accidentally turned on some driver assists which made the car not react to my steering. Took a few laps of getting accustomed to. Don't just short shift, do double shifts like your driving a semi. The DP-100 has 8 gears; great for getting a little extra speed in races like this one.
This video is misleading and I wasted a million credits. It's obviously been nerfed. I couldn't make the car under 600pp if I wanted to i maxed out the power restrictor and put the output adj. To 70 with the ballast at 200, nothing works. Either take this video down or make an update because this isn't accurate and is basically a troll.
Thats not true!!! I still use the Aston Martin VGT periodically and finish after 25Min 40Sec more or less. Watch it by #castelli600tokyo No Idea what your problem is 🤷🏻
What is the Vulcan good for? I have it and think it’s one of the best cars in the game I just have a hard time trying to find races or events to use it in

awesome, good work man, on controller it can be limiting, but it really depends if you feel comfortable using a controller or if you feel awkward holding it, you can potentially be fast on controller but the wheel is more natural for people that are used to driving cars
You are right, I've been driving for 27 years now and the wheel is more natural to me, of course. But apart from that, it's just that some curves (like the first one in Monza or the last chicane in Sarthe) are really impossibile to perform perfectly with that little stick. @@Doughtinator
Dang, first try w/this car I'm in 1st b4 the 2nd lap & finish with almost a 1min gap on Intermediate! Weird low boost torque band on the Aston, def helps, BTW there is another AWD hybrid around 605pp that weighs less, the Suzuki.
I don't know how you are doing it, but they just leave me in the dust. 1st had over a minute lead on me, fastest lap is in the 2:10's and I am running 2:17's lol. Best I have done is 11th, I hate this race!
I prefer my setup on the Escudo it does 2:01 to 2:03 lap times it's only pits once for a drop of fuel and it completes the race in less than 25 minutes with NO wall riding

I recently stopped getting quick money, since the Fiat Tomahawk stunt at Daytona was taken down. Right now on both my accounts I have the game at 83% completed and I only have 15 cars between 15 and 20K missing on each account. At the beginning of having the game I received many invitations, especially from Aston Martin, but I did not understand this and I did not use them because the cars were worth a lot of money and I did not believe that without an invitation you cannot buy. I keep receiving invitations from other brands that I already have. Doughtinator, I think we have reached this point and we have accumulated a lot of credits and I think the game detects this and is configured so that when you have few credits you get the invitation from the Aston Martin or Ferrari and you rush to get money. That car stock does 2:05 in my hands, with a good driver possibly 2:03 I would say, and is also good with medium tyres, less top speed but faster turning and even easier to drive.
I have received the invite twice now for the Aston Martin. I did use the manufacturing cup Aston Martin and so far I've done that twice and I've received the manufacturer twice but I also own all the Aston Martin's except for the one you're showing in the video now
This whole entire video is the reason I’m able to win / complete this race (using controller btw) but using this car and setup , wall riding , double shifting the moment I see me have any revs in the gear I’m in. I managed to break for first I believe in the 8th or 7th lap ( mind you this is and was my first time fully completing this race) and I stayed in 1st for the remainder of the race with +34.419 seconds from second overall as someone who sucks 😂 I do believe anyone could get in this with this tune and win just got to drive the course correctly to the conditions ( people they put walls on each side for a reason right? ) 😂😉

I’m definitely not a fan of this event. I just can’t find a car that is fast but easy to drive. If I do this event, i just turn it into a Ross Christain simulator with my R92CP R34 on comfort hard tires and just wall ride But my R92CP R34 is still my fastest grinder for 600pp and 700pp. In fact, it’s the car that most I’m familiar with for Le Mans 700pp

Try the Lamborghini Gallardo without doing anything, it's very easy to win and do it under 27 minutes.

Merc SLS is a monster around here when tuned. Top speed around 201 mph on the straight and hugs the corners.

The 2013 Viper works wonders as well. It goes up to 205 mph with ease.

I use the supra gr.. pass on last lap.. that car slips a little more than others but it is a great choice for the track.. use it 9 out of 10 times

Unfortunately, this no longer works after Update1.43. I have the same setup. Unfortunately, the car is far too slow. Only come to 2:20:00 lap times.

I got the Vulcan following your comment. Yes it's really quick, but I tried it in Michelin raceway race and it ran out of fuel in 2.5 minutes.. 😒

Keep it up, and you'll get those lap to lap intervals don't to 2 tenths of a second. That's a pro race drivers consistent pace interval.

Yh I was using this car for ages after the tomahawk got patched, had a tune posted as well. Have been using the engine swap cappuccino now as its faster but a bit more annoying to drive. The escudo is a wall ride tune.

After the first few corners I wondered if I accidentally turned on some driver assists which made the car not react to my steering. Took a few laps of getting accustomed to. Nevertheless, you got a new subscriber. :)
My favorite is an Escudo on sport hards, 599,80pp, 676hp and 834kg. Fastest laps of 1:57 and a final time of under 24:30 with wallriding.

Don't just short shift, do double shifts like your driving a semi. The DP-100 has 8 gears; great for getting a little extra speed in races like this one.

This video is misleading and I wasted a million credits. It's obviously been nerfed. I couldn't make the car under 600pp if I wanted to i maxed out the power restrictor and put the output adj. To 70 with the ballast at 200, nothing works. Either take this video down or make an update because this isn't accurate and is basically a troll.

awesome, good work man, on controller it can be limiting, but it really depends if you feel comfortable using a controller or if you feel awkward holding it, you can potentially be fast on controller but the wheel is more natural for people that are used to driving cars
You are right, I've been driving for 27 years now and the wheel is more natural to me, of course. But apart from that, it's just that some curves (like the first one in Monza or the last chicane in Sarthe) are really impossibile to perform perfectly with that little stick. @@Doughtinator
Dang, first try w/this car I'm in 1st b4 the 2nd lap & finish with almost a 1min gap on Intermediate! Weird low boost torque band on the Aston, def helps, BTW there is another AWD hybrid around 605pp that weighs less, the Suzuki.

I don't know how you are doing it, but they just leave me in the dust. 1st had over a minute lead on me, fastest lap is in the 2:10's and I am running 2:17's lol. Best I have done is 11th, I hate this race!

I can't come 1st in this race I have to pit for fuel near end and I can't get speed over 175 mph
Using manual gears will help. Shifting early makes a big difference with this car.
Lap two I only have 10.5 laps of fuel not 13 like you say.
Do you use auto gears? This car works a lot better if you use manual gears and shift early.
I prefer my setup on the Escudo it does 2:01 to 2:03 lap times it's only pits once for a drop of fuel and it completes the race in less than 25 minutes with NO wall riding

I recently stopped getting quick money, since the Fiat Tomahawk stunt at Daytona was taken down.
Right now on both my accounts I have the game at 83% completed and I only have 15 cars between 15 and 20K missing on each account.
At the beginning of having the game I received many invitations, especially from Aston Martin, but I did not understand this and I did not use them because the cars were worth a lot of money and I did not believe that without an invitation you cannot buy.
I keep receiving invitations from other brands that I already have.
Doughtinator, I think we have reached this point and we have accumulated a lot of credits and I think the game detects this and is configured so that when you have few credits you get the invitation from the Aston Martin or Ferrari and you rush to get money.
I'm going to empty my wallet and try it, I want to get the Aston Martin Vulcan.

That car stock does 2:05 in my hands, with a good driver possibly 2:03 I would say, and is also good with medium tyres, less top speed but faster turning and even easier to drive.

I have received the invite twice now for the Aston Martin. I did use the manufacturing cup Aston Martin and so far I've done that twice and I've received the manufacturer twice but I also own all the Aston Martin's except for the one you're showing in the video now

This whole entire video is the reason I’m able to win / complete this race (using controller btw) but using this car and setup , wall riding , double shifting the moment I see me have any revs in the gear I’m in. I managed to break for first I believe in the 8th or 7th lap ( mind you this is and was my first time fully completing this race) and I stayed in 1st for the remainder of the race with +34.419 seconds from second overall as someone who sucks 😂 I do believe anyone could get in this with this tune and win just got to drive the course correctly to the conditions ( people they put walls on each side for a reason right? ) 😂😉

I’m definitely not a fan of this event. I just can’t find a car that is fast but easy to drive. If I do this event, i just turn it into a Ross Christain simulator with my R92CP R34 on comfort hard tires and just wall ride
But my R92CP R34 is still my fastest grinder for 600pp and 700pp. In fact, it’s the car that most I’m familiar with for Le Mans 700pp
