I had a MK 3 1.6 Sport didn't look much apart from the front spotlights, however it would beat XR2i's from red lights! I named it Milly after the Millenium Falcon - "She may not look much, but she's got it where it counts!" . Easy car's to work on and didn't need to spend much to get a few extra HP - decent plugs and exhaust pipe. Was gutted when some little scrote pinched it and burnt it out! My CD collection and tools in the boot were probably worth more than the car, Bastards...
I lived across from someone with a 4 door mk3 in the max power era. He put blue neons under the front bumper to match the dark blue of the car. fitted Fox alloy wheels I think they were called with a big bore exhaust at the back. He also either bought his lights tinted or did them himself I carn't remember. I know you could get 3 types of light styles you could either get Lexus clear light Lexus tinted or some that make your lights look really red I think.
Beautiful car 😎👌🏼I had a 1991 Mk3 Fiesta back in the day. It was only a 1.0 and did something similar - front, rear and side skirts and alloys and rear spoiler. Couldn't afford an XR2 so this was my decoy!!
What a fantastic Fiesta, it's so clean too. The sad thing about this though is that in 10 years time (when his son is legally old enough to drive) we don't know if combustion engines will still be allowed on the public highway (we all know that new combustion vehicle sales will cease in 2030). I would imagine it will, but that day will be coming not too long after.
@@jaytee444444 porsche are making synthetic fuel which they are already testing. Any car can take it even petrol cars from 1900, and its completely clean fuel. Internal combustion engines are here to stay don't worry.
You should do a video on the myth of fiesta prices. There are so many classified ads on ebay with less desirable fiestas for several thousand pounds, but none of them are selling. If you search completed listing you see the expensive ones aren't selling and all the sold ones are only a few hundred. I saw a 5dr mk5 1.3 8v that someone was asking 3 grand for, despite being full of rust holes. They even called it a show car, but if you turned up at a show in it people would be asking why you're in your nans car. I love fiestas, and I know some are worth a lot, but not all of them.
I agree. More mk3 5 doors seem to be fitted with the rs kit now, then they did when new. Got mine fitted during 1st lockdown. The only mk3 that was factory fitted with this kit was the XRV.
Mine is a 1.1 only done 76k miles and is in ontario blue, currently cleaning her up ready for unity car show in Anglesey, I'm selling fully refurbished clover alloys with brand new tires if anyone is interested 🤣😏
You're full of rubbish but it would have never have been the ultimate car if you can afford the RS you get the XR if you can afford the XR you get the 1.4 no you don't get a 1.1

That's cos the Si was a zetec 1.6i 16v the xr2i was cvh 1.6i 8v

A quick update to this... I've just read that combustion engine cars maybe allowed on the public highway until 2044.
