All women should be heard out and their allegations fully and carefully investigated. Assuming they are telling the truth completely undermines the rule of law in the country where people are innocent until proven guilty. It will come down to the strength of the whole “Me too” movement. Having Heard be proven as wrong would be unacceptable in their eyes since their whole point is essentially that the victims should be believed by their claims alone without asking for evidence. So something like this is what they hate to admit since it raises questions about the entire movement itself.

It will come down to the strength of the whole “Me too” movement. Having Heard be proven as wrong would be unacceptable in their eyes since their whole point is essentially that the victims should be believed by their claims alone without asking for evidence. It’s kind of my “thing” reading case law, transcripts, Supreme Court cases/rulings, state laws civil rights cases etc. and defamation cases are extremely hard to win. You have to prove damages loss of income, reputation which is most times hard to do. THIS is a textbook slam dunk win just with this witnesses testimony. All they had to prove and sway the jury to believe in itself is that the op Ed she released during the height of the me too movement right as Aqua man was being released (so clearly strategic for her) made him lose his role in Pirates6 and tarnished his reputation within Hollywood.
