in regards to labramon not being able to digivolve its presumably referring to "wild" ones. dobermon's profile for example specifically mentions human tamers and the labramon in the digimon tamers anime series became seasarmon (and had a human partner). survive's aoi has a labramon and its confirmed to be able to become dobermon. based on this it would seem that wild labramon are doomed to never evolve but ones partnered with humans break this rule and can evolve. humans always throw a wrench into things when it comes to digimon (like how the Bond forms from kizuna exist because of tamers, plus the fact man made digimon exist in the first place) so its no surprise human tamed labramon act differently. its profile even mentions "apparently there are rumours that some labramon have digivolved before" and then it talks about tamers so id basically say its confirmed at this point. pair a labramon with a human and itll evolve. we always did see in the anime that humans can effect digivolution also terriermon assistant and agumon expert seem to be the ones who write these profiles based on terriermon assistant being the one researching the new digimon in the lore of the new digimon pendulumon X vpet coming out, so it would explain why theyre unaware of the human connection that will allow a labramon to evolve also not all cerberusmon will play the role of the one in the profile, some will just be randoms that chill and what not. those are prob the ones that digimon like seasarmon and doggymon become.
The pokemon equivalent to dobermon and Cerberumon is Houndour and Houndoom down to that they are hell hounds and their protective and loyal nature. That would make for a nice comparison Nostalgia. While they may be a whole lot smaller, their flames are truly torturous.

We saw how well that stupid decision worked.

If there is a digimon that could rule over the dark area, it would have to be DarknessBagramon It's passive abikity, Imperium Vicious, causes weaker evil digimon to instantly fall under its control as its subordinates, and the more evil digimon it controls, the more powerful DarknessBagramon becomes. In a place like the Dark Area, DarknessBagramon's influence and control would spread like wildfire.

The whole Labramon line (assuming that it truly can digivolve) is interesting in that they all fight evil digimon in some way. Labramon in the movie had the V-Pet vaccine to deal with them. From there each of its digivolutions handle evil digimon culminating with Anubismon acting more as a protector against evil digimon and Plutomon being an executioner/avenger type. Also, I think your idea should fit. Caturamon would fit as the better bridge from Seasarmon to Anubismon. (there is somewhere where Seasar does digi to Catura but then it goes to Baihumon instead).
Nostalgia, I am JUST now noticing that the newest Digimon, Mitamamon is the opposite counterpart of Anubismon whereas when Anubismon sends evil souls to the dark area, Mitamamon sends good souls to heaven! How this went over my head is beyond me
The heaven part does confuse me because Digimon don't die, they just get reconfigured after going through the defragmentation process. Does that mean where the angel digimon reside they just have a digimon daycare center guarded by a bunch of angemon and Shakkoumon?
I noticed you consider Homeros to share a dark area with King Drasil when talking about Plutomon who lives in Homeros's server. Why is that? Couldn't we assume the two have very different Dark Areas as both worlds are governed in opposite ways?

I was wondering if you could do a video on monmon and kotemon cuz I think they have very interesting evolutionary lines. One has to do with Japanese culture and the other is a little strange when it comes to its evolutionary line. Guess which one which. Also they have connection to digimon world 3 which you talk about quite a few times on this channel, so it would a make great video considering your personal connection to the game. P.s. Labramon is my favorite Digimon. I definitely agree that Caturamon should be the canon Perfect form of Shiisamon. It will be interesting to see how Digimon Survive handles her evolution, since I think most of the lore is based around the one in the movie.
there are 2 variants of Dobermon, a red-eyed (virus), seen in tamers one and a blue-eyed one (vaccine), seen in hunters, i think the red ones turn into pultomon and the blue one turns into anubismon

i have found other parallels to dobermon first of all the doberman breed was used for dog fighting alot but nowadays they are guard and even family dogs (if handled right) second wolfs where looked at as evil in the past but they are ancestors of our dogs people took wolfs in that where less ferral and more friendlly and breeded these wolfs only the kind ones (its acctualy an error in the genetic if a wolf is overly friendly to a human for no reason) so in the end the genetics mutated compleatly to only be friendly by nature third parallel would be the angel luzifer who is looked at as evil but he actually is a judge who punishes evil

Labramon is my favorite Digimon. I definitely agree that Caturamon should be the canon Perfect form of Shiisamon. It will be interesting to see how Digimon Survive handles her evolution, since I think most of the lore is based around the one in the movie.

there are 2 variants of Dobermon, a red-eyed (virus), seen in tamers one and a blue-eyed one (vaccine), seen in hunters, i think the red ones turn into pultomon and the blue one turns into anubismon
And the red eyed one was also very loyal to his tamer, as far as I remember

i have found other parallels to dobermon
first of all the doberman breed was used for dog fighting alot but nowadays they are guard and even family dogs (if handled right)
second wolfs where looked at as evil in the past but they are ancestors of our dogs
people took wolfs in that where less ferral and more friendlly and breeded these wolfs only the kind ones (its acctualy an error in the genetic if a wolf is overly friendly to a human for no reason) so in the end the genetics mutated compleatly to only be friendly by nature
third parallel would be the angel luzifer who is looked at as evil
but he actually is a judge who punishes evil
Gotsumon is really cool may have connections to the Bancho Team, the Ten Legendary Warriors and possibly the Crack Team in Digimon Story Dawn and Dusk. I would really like to learn more due to this fact.
