Awakened Eva-01 does around the same damage as mazinger zero if not a bit more as well as shin getter but with a bit less damage. Only downside to eva-01 is max morale for awakening and max morale for Ryoma ace ability vs mazinger zero with mazin power at a lower morale level.
Fun fact in order to unlock this awesome mech you have to free Koji from the control of the out of control version of the Mazinger Zero aka witling it's health down to where you get a cutscene where Koji gains the will and courage to fully control Mazinger Zero and the pilot/mech combo that battles the out of control version of Mazinger Zero is Shinji in the EVA-Unit 01 with EVA-Unit 01 in it's semi-berserker form the Pseudo Evolved form.
Basically, if there is anything trying be more powerful than Zero he will forcefully overpower them, and since he is MEANT to exist you cannot just say "Lol i delete him"

My bet is it will be this: Koji starts with Z, Z somehow turns into Zero, Koji gets Kaiser to oppose Zero, Zero either gets blown up by Kaiser & Friends or decides to play nice after being defeated, and Koji can switch between them.
It's not the OVA Kaiser, it's the one from SRW F created by exposing Mazinger Z to Getter radiations. It'd be really interesting to see because ZERO has to unleash 7 Mazin power in order to awaken as a demon god. But the original Kaiser has straight up God, Demon and Z mode. I can see the Kaiser being a hard counter for the ZERO
I remeber watching a video on srw V where a guy was trying for the first time zero Against the final mission and i remember this enemy got 1 shotted by The final breast nova with 100k hp Like ok you want it to be op but don t give us manga accurate zero💀

Mazinkaiser skl really didn't cut it for me because it strayed to far from the original continuity and mazinkaiser did not have any breast fire or photon beam or hurricane breath
With Wing Cross SKL had Rust Stream and Inferno Blaster for the hurricane and breast fire respectively and it didn’t need the Photon Beamwhen it had guns
@@BassGSothertype it had the "Thor's Hammer Breaker" wich was its version of Thunder Break, and no Mazinger has ever had both Photon Beams and Thunder Break at the same time. The only thing i didn't like about SKL is that it didn't have its own inbuilt retractable scrander like Great Mazinger.
