Fun fact, this Mazinkaiser? It's basically a fusion of the F version and the Alpha version....AND THEN THEY GAVE IT ALL 7 BLACK BOXES! Not joking, in the Kaiser Nova animation, you can briefly see the Black Boxes on the Kaiser.
Start from 2:30, if you look at the breast orb on Mazinkaiser, the word "Demon" and "God" appeared a couple times on it before it briefly switched to "Z" for 1 frame when the Fire Blaster was launched. It's nice reference to what Mazinger Z truly means.
IIRC, it is a reference to the old Alpha games, where Kaiser had a demon mode (auto pilot) and a god mode (Kaiser piloted by Koji at full power, with enough to equal an out of control Shin Getter), the symbol changed depending on the mode it was using.
Kaiser is absolute power with pinpoint precision (for a giant robo). ZERO is beyond absolute power with no precision at all. Kaiser IS the righteous Mazin, after all.
In X Kaiser and Emperor G are basically both Mazinger Zero but good. Kouji and Tetsuya call them out from the sea of infinite alternate possibilities to counter Zero... and to essentially steamroll everything in the damn game

Uh mazinger really is such a favourite boy in super robot wars getting all these juicy anims in late games while rest cast gets literal degradation of anims and reuse

Pretty sure that Mazinkaiser is pure of heart. Same with Great Mazinkaiser, who has I think 4 of the 7 boxes. I may be wrong.

SKL is pretty cool and strong, but i agree with juliam, original Kaiser is stronger, and this one even got the seven black boxes.
Both Banpresto and OVA Kaisers have cooler swords.
I wish there was a way to mod this Mazingers into 30 over the Infinty versions, also Kaiser Nova > Final Kaiser Blade as a finisher
Infinity is able to use nova at least, so maybe in a new game it will use kaiser nova.
