This whole album., I mean every song, is stunning.
Yeah, you got that right! 🖖
Best debut album of all time IMO.
@@chief45kc2572 That and Appetite For Destruction are a tie for me!
What's up with this new sensation with beautiful women discussing classic rock songs, am I missing something, I love their appreciation but...... there cropping up everywhere
Brad Delp was a phenomenal singer. RIP Brad.
And R.I.P. Sib too.
My daughter named our cat Boston, because she's more than a feline . 😂
She’s more than a feline. Could she do harmonies? Harmonics?
lol
A 70s Cat
😂
Really cool how Brad Delp's voice and the guitar melt into one another at the same pitch almost to the point that you can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Masterclass.
He holds that note at the end as it fades out for about 20seconds and then it's just the guitar. Quite the accomplishment!
One of the best rock songs you'll ever hear.
When she was in 8th grade a friend of mine used to walk down the street with her friends and watch them practice in the garage, imagine that?
Use to do that with REO speed wagon….
Are you the oldest person on TH-cam?
A perfect rock song from start to finish. Absolute perfection.
PLEASE REACT TO SMOKE ON THE WATER BY DEEP PURPLE LIVE ANOTHER HUGE 70s CLASSIC FROM 1972
Tom Scholz is a musical genius.
And a M.I.T. genius.
He was a perfectionist and it shows!
@@kens32052 After graduating .. He and his Team at Polaroid developed Polaroid Instamatic film.. Genius.. That he is!
Watching Emma quickly transform into a 70s Rocker Chic, has been the most gratifying experience EVER!
Luv you, Lady!
REALSED IN1976 THE 70s where a fantastic time to be a teen, I was15
@@theodoreritola7641 yep! I was in high school then also. The soundtrack of our youth!
If you really wanna rock, play Boston, "Smokin", you wont be disapointed. 😎
This is the greatest debut album by a rock band. Unbelievable songs, production and all done by one person.
Boston's first album was gold spun magic from start to finish. Every song is fantastic. "More Than a Feeling" is one of my favorite song and so relatable almost 50 years later.
Boston's debut album (Boston, released in 1976) had every track on it made airplay on all the Rock Station in Detroit. Brad Delp is the lead singer and he suffered from depression which sadly led him to take his life on March 9, 2007. RIP Brad...
Another Boston song you should definitely react to is "Foreplay/Long Time"
Yes and also Amanda also
Brad Delp was amazing RIP gentle soul
Back in the day this album was awesome still is every song!!
THAT DAY waz1976 the good OL YEARS
I'm in my 60's and have owned this album on vinyl, cassette, CD and now on my Spotify - it's timeless!
Best Debut Album of all Time Every song on this album is 🔥
Brad was awesome. Brad sang lead and backup vocals on albums. Very talented man. Unfortunately, he died at an early age.
I loved seeing these guys in concert. One of the top 10 rock bands of all time. The album is insanely good.
They were so far ahead of their time, one of the most talented bands ever and maybe the best debut album ever. There is not a bad song on it great reaction. I love your reactions and your explanations.
R.I.P. Brad Delp (the singer), you're one of The Best of all time & always will be! 🤩
It was 10xs better living in the 60s-80s and seeing all these groups in concert and in person
FYI - This isn't an actual live performance. The audio is a radio edit of the studio recording (the second verse was edited out). The lead singer, Brad Delp, sang all of the backing harmonies. I suggest that for future "Boston" reactions you only use the album versions. I recommend "Foreplay / Long Time", "Smokin'", and "Hitch a Ride".
The album that everyone had in the late 70's.
This song NEVER GETS OLD
Yay. Part of the soundtrack of my life. And the original recordings all recorded on home made recording and mixing equipment in Tom Scholz's basement.
(Edit: this was 1976, probably the best ETA for non-classicalbmusic until Nightwish came on the scene around 1997 (though only in Finland then so I wasn't aware of them in '97).
This was a constant on the jukebox in my student union bar
It is one of those songs that is utterly glorious from start to finish. As you said, a rock masterpiece.
Hello, beautiful Emma!!! I'm glad you're doing this song, since it's my favorite Boston song. It perfectly showcases Brad Delp's incredible vocal range!! Love to you and your family, Emma!!! ❤️✌️
❤❤❤🔥
Foreplay/Longtime is my favorite from Boston 😊
This song always pumps me up! I see it does for you to Emma.❤
Brad Delp was amazing and deserves consideration for greatest rock vocalist of all time.
“Amanda”, please listen to that one!
Watching Emma is more than a feeling.
Thank you!!! 😘
He's also doing all the background vocals as well, which is a good thing, because who else could sing the high harmony over that?
Those high notes though!
Great group and reaction you were really grooving on the song.
I really enjoy your comments and don't think you talk too much at all ! You have expertise in music and vocal performance analysis and I appreciate your enthusiasm. Well done.
God, I remember the 70's! Jimmy Carter was president. Camaros and corvettes were king and gas was 63 cents a gallon. For me it was high school, bell bottoms, Farrah Fawcett poster, and damn good music blasting from their newest vinyl. And yes, all of us young dudes sported that same power mustache. Well, those who could. Thanks for the look back, Emma.
You never talk too much, Emma!!! I love your voice and I love to listen to you talk!!! ❤️✌️
This is live video with the studio version dubbed over. Brad Delp was a one of kind vocalist. RIP Brad.
Brad DELP is one of the best Rock vocalists ever
My mom knew the band. She was lucky enough to sit in on some rehearsals before they made this album.
Foreplay/Long Time should be next.
Love this band , I still play my vinyls all the time ❤
Listen it “ A man I’ll never be “ . ❤
Oh yeah, feelgood music 🕺
It's called raw talent.
Bass player is wildin’ 🤣🤣🤣
1976, the year I graduated from high school was a pretty good year for music. This one, along with "A Day at the Races" by Queen, "Rocks" by Aerosmith, "Frampton Comes Alive" by Peter Frampton and "Hotel California" by the Eagles to name a few were the soundtrack that year.
I still listen to this album almost weekly when working out. It's actually bitter sweet watching these videos, having been 12 when this album came out and that magical part of my life long gone. Brad Delph gone. But the music remains and it still is amazing.
I was 12 also.
A time when great music prevailed....
Peace of Mind was always my favorite from these guys.
They area fantastic band from the late seventies you should react to "peace of mind " great song
I had this tape in 77. 😎
Part of the soundtrack of my high school years.
This is so epic..
This is the greatest song of all time. But the BEST song of all time is "Hitch a Ride", which is on the same album.
Wow, you're hitting some great rock classics lately. Animals, Joe Cocker, Boston, Deep Purple.
I'd suggest Jefferson Starship doing "Jane." Another rock classic, more vocals extraordinaire..
*A MÍ TAMBIÉN ME ENCANTA 'BOSTON'... sobre TODO porque SU MÚSICA y SU ROCK me HACEN SENTÍR ALEGRÍA y FELICIDAD; REGULARMENTE EL SOLO ESCUCHAR A 'BOSTON' me SENTÍR MUY BIEN.*
*...... y TÚ ERES MI AMOR IMPOSIBLE emma♥*
The perfect rock song in my opinion.
Rip Brad
Literally should be in Everyone's Top 10 Greatest Voices
one of the very greatest rock songs ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . Danny in Mississippi
"Crush'in" with Emma Today !! Love it. Love you. Love Boston too !!
It is one of my favorite written rock songs. From the arrangements to the solos to Brad's vocals.
Brad Delp (lead singer) R.I.P., had one of the best voices in rock music.
Emma! 😊
Amanda is a great ballad of theirs.
Perfection
Classic Album!!!
every single song on that album is great
Welcome to 1977.....when music was ACTUALLY great !! Boston was HUGE !!! Definitely need to hear Foreplay/Long Time, Rock & Roll Band, Amanda......ANYTHING by Boston !!!
This band especially with brad delp rip The vocals were beyond phenomenal. I'll always miss that man.
As tough as I Em there are many's and his soaring lead always brought tears To my eyes
Classic 👍🏼
Pros on stage.
You had fun with that one, girl! Brad was amazing vocalist. Wanna hear more Boston? Try: A Man I'll Never Be.
My High School graduation song. Wore out a couple of copies of this tape back in the day.
There's nothing that could be done more convincing. A timeless classic almost half a century old. The music sounds exactly like on the record, i think they used a concertclip of the song and replaced the music by the music of the studioversion..
A true classic 1976 I have always had Boston as some of my favorites back in the day on vinyl
A glam band named Sweet from the UK has a great head banger titled, Ballroom Blitz. A 70's song
This is my favorite Boston song & yes, please react to Ballroom Blitz!
yes yes that is it emma
Love the 70s Rock. Keep up with the Boston theme and check out the CARS!
One of my all time top 3!
It's my #2.
Great song and reaction
Great band. Brad Delp had such an amazing voice (RIP). You should check out "Peace of Mind", "Amanda", "Party", "Rock & Roll Band", "Smokin", and "A Man I'll Never Be".
I agree with "A Man I'll Never Be".
Hands down my generation had the best music hand that had a meaning to it
For another singer with great voice control, you REALLY need to hear "When I'm With You" by Sheriff. GEN-X knows about this song ❤
was lucky enough to have seen them back then. they were this good live.
Top notch reaction and song lass. Slainte ☘️🇺🇲
Listen to 'A Man I'll Never BE'......
Classic from 1976! RIP Brad Delp.🤘🎸
Next check out "Foreplay/Longtime"
The real garage band with high level musicianship.
You’re fabulous
She'd like Triumph.
RIP Brad Delp
Foreplay/Long Time is 🔥
Every time I see the bassist, I think: alien pods.
People like this one.
Amazing
