Extreme Travel Afghanistan - Would You Dare To Do This In Kabul? 🇦🇫

- Inside Taliban-Controlled Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Since I started to travel and explore Asia, Afghanistan has always been my dream country. The movies I have watched and the books I have read about Afghanistan have built dreamy expectations in my head of the country that I would not be able to experience anywhere else.
My visit did not disappoint - Afghanistan was time travel from bustling & unorganized bazaars, street shaves, same clothing in different colors, no brands, magnificent landscapes, and the bravest people with the biggest hearts of hospitality.
In my trip, we covered Mazar-i-Sharif, Kabul & Bamyan.
Visiting Afghanistan is a sensitive topic for many people. As in any country I go to, the main objective is to share the day-to-day life and spotlight the ordinary people that the mass media fail to capture. No matter how you feel about my trip, here is my summary.
Despite facing significant challenges, Afghanistan has many positive aspects that deserve recognition: diverse landscapes, rich history, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, resilient people, and more!
Safety:
This was the biggest concern of many people I have talked to, and naturally, that has been the main worry when you enter a war-torn country over the last 40 years. With the takeover of the Taliban, the country is much safer than before; at least no conflicts are going on.
My Persian surname, which is the same as the current supreme leader of the Taliban, my cultural background, being a man with a +3 years long beard, and looking like one of the locals do not qualify me to talk about safety much when it comes to being a tourist. I had a significant advantage, considering the above.
Disclaimer: This is not a travel advisory. Afghanistan has a government that has not been recognized by any country, with no embassies and international relations. I am a professional traveler who explored the country with an organized guide.
0:00 - Exploring Bazaar;
8:18 - Getting into minor trouble with the Taliban;
16:03 - Looking for a street shave;
19:47 - Street shave in Kabul.

Guides are often aware how tourists can be taken advantage of
His guide is fun
good guide! what where they saying when the taliban member came?
When Davud said to the rug man I have no house, the guy replied back you can stay with us! Man, where else in the world would you get a response like that. amazing.
Um, if you're a man, and particularly one that "blends in," sure. This is a very skewed view; things would not go so well if a woman tried this. And if that it isn't a problem for people, it's okay, we see you.
Actually you'd be surprised. You'd get that response in lots of countries

The old barber man was so nice and I am sure you made his day! Thank you Davud!
He was amazing and took the opportunity to make me his customer, while others refused because of the camera.
@@Davud_Akh Yes, indeed! Thanks for taking us along! Happy Journey🌸
His white beard was his advertisement! Perfect!
@@Davud_Akh Why the big audience though? :)
Afganistan people are very hospitable ❤ from 🇱🇰
All gay. I don’t see any women.
right, if you are a muslim and if your are a man
Davud dressing so well and sporting such a beard that even the locals thought he was Taliban.
Yeah😂😂😂
The afghans are so hospitable . I love how you get same price as locals . They're not constantly trying to rip you off or take advantage like maybe some people in India.
Kabul Bazaar looks very lively, Davud looks like an Afghan in tht outfit 💚
I love your videos, how you treat people, your openness, it's really heartwarming. I visited Afghanistan a few times and as an Irish woman I definitely couldn't have the same experience you are having but I love how open, kind, warm you are with everyone. Your kindness to everyone brings tears to my eyes. You treat everyone like family. And I can see they welcome and warm to you too. It's really beautiful, I'm sure you bring joy to their day as you bring joy to ours.
Thank you very much for following! ❤
Did you visit before Taliban rule or no?
Amazing people!!!👍👍👍🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘

Afghanistan series is always fascinating
Love goes out from an afghan living in Germany.
By the way your tourguide is a really cool guy, glad you have him.
Awesome country.
I'm not afghan but I wear pakol.
also living in Germany (close to Stuttgart).
Did you recognize German license plates on Afghan cars? there is a lot lol. Afghans love Germany so much. And me personally@@tootsownhorn5874
People's are so humble and kind 😌 I was never expectation this in Afghanistan 🇦🇫
ask the women, lol
What a quick question? Is there any gentleman who could respond???????
It warms my heart how generous and kind you are
To See a River like that its heart breaking. Its same in my country as well. It wasn't the same like 30 years ago. Rivers are shrinking People are diverting the dirty water and other things to the river and polluting it.
Wish the Taliban and People of Afghanistan Success in Replenishing the Afghan River
That river gets its water from snow melt. Right now it’s autumn so there’s not much water coming down. In spring it’s usually full of water
This is a common theme across developing countries. Not that all face the same circumstances, in fact for this river I believe its normal as most places face "dry" seasons.
Hi my dear davud,
I am watching from Bangladesh,
6 month before i had seen one or two videos when you are visiting Bangladesh, but once you are Kazakhstan to enter Afghanistan i was watched all of Afghanistan contents...... My dream country is Afghanistan.... I love so much Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
I love afganistan
Beautiful country and hospitable people
Simplicity is the main power of afgan people, very nice..... 👍
Thank you Davud for your kindness and videos. As an American I hope people understand that not all of us supported our president and the decision to invade Afghanistan. However some did. It is like all countries, including Afghanistan, some dislike their leadership and some like it. No country should tell another country how to rule. If the people don't like it, that is for them to make a change. I see many women in your videos wear burqa, Niqab even just hijab. Maybe the Taliban is not as bad as some media shows. The only thing I don't get...why would they not want woman to be educated? In Islam a woman should see women doctors and can only see men in emergency. I would think Taliban would want educated women for this.❤
Out of all your vlogs these Afghanistan series are my all time favorite!! Please make them longer. Can't get enough of them!!!
Greetings from the Netherlands!
Welcome to beautiful Afghanistan 🌺🇦🇫

Why do you worry about this single letter brother!
I’m of afghan decent but have never been to Afghanistan. But I have heard from friends and family living in the country that they’re finally happy and feel safe. A number of friends have also gone back to visit the country with young children and have had the best experience and felt safe. I truely believe our Country will prosper and stay safe InshAllah.
We have to give Taliban a chance. (Not like we have a choice anyways).
We can’t rely on foreigners to run our country as they please.
Pakistan is the example of foreigners running your country!!!
I think that giving the Taliban a chance is a good idea. Not every country has to conform to the American ideals of freedom to be “good.” Muslim countries should be able to do what they want according to their religion without being invaded for over two decades.
Easy to say for any man. But those women there are suffering bro. Its not even up for discussion wether or not the taliban are pieces of shit to every woman.
It’s a shame the citizens of Afghanistan cannot just run it themselves. No taliban, no outsiders.
@staceytroffer8287 Weather you agree or disagree with talibaan, they are the citizens of Afghanistan. Where do you think they come from?
Thanks bro for being together.
We really enjoyed the tour.
To be with u was amazing for me ever.
5:32 Firni is custard. It is made from milk and has many flavours. Toppings such as nuts and chopped fruits can also be added. It is usually served in Afghan gatherings for guests.

It seems that Afghanistan will be more developed than South Africa within the next 50 years.

Thank you sir davud for showing Afghanistan and I love your videos you are so kind ❤❤
Love the video's! Especially from Afghanistan. Mash'Allah!
Great content. I hope there will be more about AFG since western media mostly serves just one sided propaganda. Having small documentaries like this is eye opening.
I’d love to see how the people in Baraki Barak are doing. Ghazni and Gardez as well. Afghanistan is such a beautiful country. Keep up the Afghan content. Great work brother.

Beautiful country and beautiful people ♥️🇦🇫
You did such a great job becoming inconspicuous that the locals think you are one of the Taliban 😂
No one will mess with davud there, he looks more taliban than a real taliban guy lol
Thank you so much we enjoying the Afghanistan series ️. I love afganistanBeautiful country and hospitable people.
Thanks for sharing these Afghanistan Videos I spent a year in Kabul in 2004 and it’s neat to see the different places you visited there. My favorite food there was the fresh baked bread
There are videos of this river where the Talibans cleaned it up and encouraged people to keep it clean, but I guess the people don't care about the cleanliness of their city. It's a shame because the government can do only so much, unless they come hard on those that pollute the city, but then the people will start crying and claim cruelty, and all the other bs.
I've been waiting for this video brother. You have me wanting to travel to Afghanistan now 🇦🇫
Welcome ❤
Thanks for all your videos , god bless you dear friend ❤❤❤❤ from 🇱🇰
thank you bro for supporting the locals
hahaha the look on your face when the uncle turned on the trimmer. Took you two years to grow the beard, and the uncle could have taken it away with a quick swipe
That was a risk indeed! Actually, 3 years and could be gone in 1 sec, haha. That is why I wanted the guide to translate a few times what I wanted.
Next visit in Iraq bro
Great video davud , was looking forwards to your next video, the people are so nice, im glad you make them take the money.
Davud thanks for sharing your Afganistan videos and showing us how life goes on. Your guide is very good and so pleasent. Hope to see you again in Srilanka
Excellent content brother!Be safe and safe travels.
It was nice to see the onlookers mobbing you during the beard cut. It looks as if you are a specimen not seen before.
This happens in India too , so need to be alien....

Davud Akhundzada personality and quality is very nice and good. I am indian citizen from India.👍
Brother @Davud Akhunzada you should also make vlog in Kabul's Famous and Beautiful Area Named : (Shahre Naw)
As an Afghan can confirm that maybe Daud bro your style and close resemblance to Afghans made the Taliban into thinking 🤔 about your identity and that’s one of them asked about your documents and then proceeded not to check, but it’s normal there in Afghanistan to be asked about documents by Taliban (military) due to the ISIS threat, I wish you a happy stay in Afghanistan 🇦🇫
Talibans aren't Isis ?
Bro why are you scared of ISIS, you have it in the government
THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS, YOUR The REAL..

You gave the lady 10 cents? She looked like she was in need. The way she grabbed the juice out of your hand. Poor lady! But you were generous with the elderly barber..cok cukur!
