Only when I speak English and when I am introduced as a tourist I can see the real reactions. People have been amazing with big smiles, curiosity, and requests for pictures together as a memory. I am sharing with you the real hospitality of locals in Afghanistan from the ice cream stop and the melon market. 🇦🇫

Every turist in Afghanistan i see they cant see how poor are people just because the afghan people are soo bigg heart and are generosly to strangers mashallah. But i as an afghan see and just nearby cry for how amazing are my people. And can see how they have in reality 💔 i traveled to many countries and dont found like afghan people in that situation. Actually nobody can believe that Afghanistan was a country that was suffered from cruel war in history. The transformation that they have reached as a society is unbelievable. The western medias always focuses on negativity but there are a lot of positivity behind the stories. A lot of respect from Sri Lanka to our beloved Afgani People and their hospitality.

I visited Afghanistan a few years ago for business. The Afghans were very nice and welcoming. Absolutely loved the food especially Qabili Palau and Noni Afghani. I will say that Kabul is very different from other areas in the country.

In Tamil, watermelon is "tharpoosani". "Prahui" is the only Dravidian language spoken entirely outside India.(mainly in Afghanistan and Pakistan). As a Tamil (South Indian) it's very nice to hear the similar sound of words in Afghanistan. ❤️😄
