Basically what happens is the slash attacks the space Gojo is in rather than attacking Gojo himself, which means no kind of defense can block against it, even infinity.
Mahoraga can continue to adapt to an attack despite already doing so, then Sukuna waited until Mahoraga can be able to do an adaption that Sukuna himself could do without Mahoraga's help

The way Sukuna won was COMPLETELY possible, and the way he pulled it off also made sense, what really made this Garbage, was when Gojo had doubt in his after-life cutscene

The most frustrating thing about this isn't that Gojo lost; I'm cool with him getting packed up. My issue is that Gege really had him COOKING Sukuna in that fight only for him to get dogwalked offscreen. Then Gojo proceeds to glaze the hell out of Sukuna in the afterlife. Like bro, show, don't tell. It's hard for me to accept Sukuna getting this much glaze when he literally spent the last few chapters getting bitched out by Gojo on screen, only to get his own dub off screen. I'd be much happier with it if they at least showed the fight as being more even or showed Sukuna slowly adapting and performing better then actually showed off the finishing blow. The way it is, it feels like Sukuna actually just opened the control panel and activated cheat codes instead of earning his dub, which ends up feeling bad for both fighters. Gojo feels like a fraud because he got packed up off screen then started glazing the guy who clapped him. Sukuna feels like a fraud because he spent the last few chapters getting a trench carved in his ass only to pull a dub off screen out of thin air.

Despite the fact Gojo wound up losing in the end I still think he’s more powerful than Sukuna In terms of the strength and quality of their known personal techniques. The combination of the limitless and six eyes is more powerful and versatile than cleave and dismantle. Its already a top 2 deepest bag in the verse, the only actual competition is the Ten Shadows, which was able to take out a sorcerer with the six eyes limitless combo in the past. A regular user of the combo is already S tier by default but the fact Gojo also achieved enlightenment and truly awakened his full potential means he makes any previous mf with his abilities look like a level 1 crook compared him while he’s a lvl 100 mob boss. That being said While Gojo has a better technique, Sukuna is the more skilled sorcerer between them. He understands jujutsu better than anyone but maybe(and that’s a hard maybe) Kenjaku. He’s so skilled with his cursed energy usage that Kashimo stated that not only is his ability to switch between using his technique and domain amplification effortless and fluid, that if Gojo wasn’t who he is, and didn’t have the six eyes making his abilities use almost no cursed energy that Sukuna would be comfortably winning in efficiency and utilization. Once they started clashing domains, Gojos strategy was to open up a window for infinite void to land on Sukuna as one of his win conditions. Sukuna however was using the clashes to allow for each clash to slowly adapt Mahoraga to infinite void by abusing the nature of their sure hit effects and the Dharmachakra. Gojos sure hit targets everything inside the domain, Sukunas targets everything but himself, meaning that during each clash their sure hits would overlap and be nullified everywhere except around Sukuna, causing him to be hit by it during every clash. Normally even 1 hit from gojos domain would end the fight but Sukuna bypassed it by using the dharmachakra, which is the wheel that allows for Mahoraga to adapt. The adaptation itself only applies to Mahoraga but in order to happen someone has to take the burden of Adaptation, which is usually mahoraga themself but the wheel can be summoned independently of the shikigami and can be the placed on the 10S user to allow them to keep mahoraga safe in the shadows while still adapting. Sukuna placed the wheels on Megumis soul, allowing mahoraga to adapt and himself to avoid getting caught by Gojos sure hit. Despite Gojo landing his domain first eventually by the time he did mahoraga had already adapted, and the constant use of his domain and the risky RCT use he and Sukuna used to let him reset his domain and technique(basically casting domain fries the part of your brain where your technique is engraved, and takes time to heal on its own which is why you can’t use your technique for a limited time after casting it. They bypassed that limit by destroying that part of their brain and heal it with RCT) left him with brain damage and made him unable to expand his domain again. Sukuna also wound up doing the same thing to himself due to how the adaptation process for mahoraga and the nature of the soul work. Which left them both without their domain and cooked their brains. Now gojos win condition was simply beating Sukuna to death with his broken as abilities, and he was cooking for basically the whole fight after. However Sukunas win condition was always to use Mahoraga as a blueprint to find a way to bypass infinity. All he needed to do was survive long enough to learn how to hit Gojo through infinite space by studying how Mahoraga did. The first adaptation that let maho bypass infinity was by altering the nature of his CE basically making it act like how the inverted spear of heaven did, letting the sword of extermination actually cut Gojo. Sukuna can’t alter the nature of his own CE so he needed another way. The adaptation that Sukuna could use was to alter the nature of what cleave and dismantle target. Before it was like trying to cut through paper with painted scissors. His new adaptation let him cut the paper with actual scissors. Basically instead of cutting through infinite space it cut space itself. I wrote this special grade level yap to point out just how tactical Sukuna was in this fight. It’s unknown, given 70% of his bag is still secret if Sukuna in his Heian form could learn to bypass infinity or if he had other win conditions without using Mahoraga but regardless Sukuna played the fight smart and that’s why he won. He never truly overpowered Gojo, he outplayed him
After re-reading through the fight, it really did play out how it was supposed to. Sukuna had already said once he learned how to get past infinity he would take advantage of it and win. It was always a fight against time. Sukuna tried to win with domains, and when that didn’t work (Which I have a problem with), he used mahoraga, and stalled best he could while still letting mahoraga adapt. Only bad thing about this fight was gojo being off screened that felt like a cop out, and a let down ending to a great fight.
I feel like Gojo should have seen with his six eyes exactly what was going on with that world splitting cleave It makes sense Gojo would lose narratively but I feel like Gojo should have been like “Oh no…” instead of like “haha I win” at the end of 235 just for 236 to be like “lol no you didn’t Gojo!”

Sukuna said he was purposely trying to adapt to limitless technique using Mahoraga as a blueprint (basically tanking damage until Mahoraga could find a way to bypass infinity). When that happened, he didn't need Mahoraga anymore and now has the spatial cleave. Plus he was saving his trump card for the end (his true form) to fight anyone else coming his way after the fight since he knew he was gonna take some damage.

Mahoraga is fodder without Sukuna, Gege is not in the fight, Agito is literally fodder didn’t do nothing in the fight. So it’s more like a 2v1 but the 1 of the 2 is extremely dependent on the other for its survival and strenght. So ultimately it’s 1v1.

So in a short Summary Gojo and Sukuna Boxed Gojo casted his Domain, which should’ve hit because they’re both in it, but Sukuna’s Domain was bigger, so it destroyed Gojo’s Domain before he can get a fresh cut from the Gojo fade, but since Fraudkuna got hurt, His Domain couldn’t cut Goatjo. Gojo hits that Mad dash and weave as Sukuna tries to mow him down, but Gojo then heals up just short enough to heal enough, but stilll be quick enough. So then Gojo does some MMA leg lock and blicks Sukuna in the dome with a Red, proving his Dominance over Sukuna. So then, When they Domain clash again, Goatjo inflates his Domain so it can wrap around Sukuna’s Domain, then shrinks it to make sure Sukuna can’t run, But their Domains break, But I guess since Void wrapped Sukuna, Unlimited Void hurt Sukuna Badly, and Gojo adds onto it by scrapping and running Sukuna’s pockets, crippling his ability to run another domain, As they race to pull more Domains, Since Sukuna’s already healing he was too slow as Unlimited Void would proceed to deeply penetrate Fraudkuna. But before Goatjo and Air fry Fraudkuna, Fraudkuna sucks off Mahoraga and uses Papiraga’s ability to use Megumi as a Body shield before he gets straight bodied by Unlimited Void. So after Fraudkuna meets Papiraga’s 5 piece requirement, Mahoraga now negates Goatjo’s Domain, But Sukuna’s too hurt to use his Domain, So they go straight to scrapping, as Gojo dominates Sukuna in MMA combat, Sukuna decides to Spawn and suck off more Shikigami, as Agito proceeds to heal and pleasure Sukuna. So Mahoraga slices Goatjo’s arm off, and Sukuna sees this, and baits Mahoraga with more blowies and makes Mahoraga teach him how to bypass infinity. So after the gangbang, Gojo uses the 360 Purple, Vaporizing the Shikigami and Decimating Sukuna, Goatjo has Won. But Sukuna’s blowies to Mahoraga payed off, as he appears from nowhere and divides the GOAT into Go / Jo. Gojo lost to Sukuna glazing, Mahoraga Carrying, Agito stalling and Gege hating. If it was a 1v1 Gojo woulda won Papiraga carried and call me a Gojo glazer I am one. Gojo lost to plot and gangbanging. Rest In Peace and Pieces, Goat / Jo

The off-screening had me pissed as hell, 100% But what really got me was the audacity of Gege to have Gojo say that Sukuna DIDN'T need Mahoraga. Like? My fucking ass he didn't need Maho, what else does he have that'd work? Malevolent Shrine didn't kill him, basic Cleaves and Dismantles won't kill him. The Fire Arrow likely ain't getting passed Infinity, and its heat isn't gonna kill Gojo faster than RCT. The only thing that COULD kill Gojo would be World Cutting Slash, but Sukuna is NOT getting the time to use that while Gojo is alive. Legit, there is not a single situation where Sukuna comes out on top without Mahoraga. There's disliking a character, and then there's Gege deliberately making Gojo insult himself while feeding the audience blatant lies THROUGH HIS OWN THOUGHTS. What's even crazier is the fact that all this Sukuna glazing just made him look WORSE. Man got turned into the Binding Vow merchant and somehow managed to overshadow MEGUMI in terms of being carried by Mahoraga.
Fr thing is gojo was so strong that sukuna can’t even cast the fire arrow with how much the domain is changing even tho gojo don’t have infinity and at the moment in domains sukuna had to use binding vows to survive which they say is a staple of using and gojo didn’t use no binding vows as we know of which gojo could’ve been even more nutty he was just using his regular abilities while sukuna used everything, gojo thought sukuna just wasn’t using fire arrow cause he wasn’t strong but he was just so strong he can’t even use it on gojo😭

The fight was memorable for me the fandom division into team gojo and team sukuna. The constant heated argument, if you doubt gojo then youre from team sukuna and vice versa. I had a lot fun, some people disagreed w the conclusion but honestly i liked it just the leak panel where gojo was death and comments reaction lmao. Wish i could experience all over those memories again❤. Who cares who wins, if you like a character you dont have to put him above anyone else.
the fact that sukuna baited gojo to open his domain 5 times taking the risk to be exposed to gojo's limitless in order for maho to adapt is nothing short of genius, it is a dangerous gamble that only the king of curse could achieve. meguna strategy was nothing short of masterful it is as sun tsu said: "All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved "

Sukuna had to play defensively, then when maho showed him a way to get through infinity, sukuna moved to a more aggressive play style. Gojo showed off but sukuna knew his win condition was different from gojos, 1sukuna kills gojo ez once he breaks through infinity, and he knew that. Honestly the fight was top tier and shows sukunas and gojos strength and weaknesses, as for the afterlife drama, I think it was a good close off to gojos character, a man who was arrogant and prideful, all while being lonely bc of his status, finally found satisfaction in the fight with sukuna, and gets bitter when he realizes sukuna held back. Shit talk the story and call it plot all you want it was a damn good fight and solid conclusion to “battle of the strongest".
I loved the fight but it's a shame that so many people are just riding Gojo and blind themselves to the fact that Sukuna would have won anyway if he just went back to his Heian form any time he wanted to.
It was shit. The monologue didn't even make sense as it was not inline with his character the previous chapter. Sukuna says taking purple at close range would be fatal then proceeds to take the same amount of damage as he did from red when hit with a point blank purple. The purple eviserated mahoraga who could tank black flash from gojo, while sukuna got knocked out, but somehow sukuna only loses an arm from it. You can try to justify it however you want but the conclusion of the fight was garbage.

Gojo's infinity is automatic you cant bypass it by attacking from behind. Sukuna bypassed it by cutting through the space infinity was manipulating to infinitely slow attacks. A way to conceptualize it is as a sword. Real swords don't literally cut through the air they go through at the most basic level they hust displace it. Sukuna literally cut through the makeup of infinity and was able to cut gojo because of it.

well it was set up before alr. The very first Cleave Sukuna threw at Gojo speedblitzed him, he was unable to react at all and had to look behind him to confirm the existence of the slash.

GOJO is just not fast enough to react to the Cleave, like we saw in the beginning of the fight when sukuna slashed a building behind he was just saved by infinity and was shocked by not even realize it. So it's just that Gojo didn't just see the cleave coming and this time No infinity was carrying him so he just got SPEEDBLITZ and when he realized it he was already dead. ✅

The most frustrating thing about this isn't that Gojo lost; I'm cool with him getting packed up. My issue is that Gege really had him COOKING Sukuna in that fight only for him to get dogwalked offscreen. Then Gojo proceeds to glaze the hell out of Sukuna in the afterlife. Like bro, show, don't tell. It's hard for me to accept Sukuna getting this much glaze when he literally spent the last few chapters getting bitched out by Gojo on screen, only to get his own dub off screen.
I'd be much happier with it if they at least showed the fight as being more even or showed Sukuna slowly adapting and performing better then actually showed off the finishing blow. The way it is, it feels like Sukuna actually just opened the control panel and activated cheat codes instead of earning his dub, which ends up feeling bad for both fighters.

Despite the fact Gojo wound up losing in the end I still think he’s more powerful than Sukuna In terms of the strength and quality of their known personal techniques. The combination of the limitless and six eyes is more powerful and versatile than cleave and dismantle. Its already a top 2 deepest bag in the verse, the only actual competition is the Ten Shadows, which was able to take out a sorcerer with the six eyes limitless combo in the past. A regular user of the combo is already S tier by default but the fact Gojo also achieved enlightenment and truly awakened his full potential means he makes any previous mf with his abilities look like a level 1 crook compared him while he’s a lvl 100 mob boss.
That being said While Gojo has a better technique, Sukuna is the more skilled sorcerer between them. He understands jujutsu better than anyone but maybe(and that’s a hard maybe) Kenjaku.
He’s so skilled with his cursed energy usage that Kashimo stated that not only is his ability to switch between using his technique and domain amplification effortless and fluid, that if Gojo wasn’t who he is, and didn’t have the six eyes making his abilities use almost no cursed energy that Sukuna would be comfortably winning in efficiency and utilization.
Once they started clashing domains, Gojos strategy was to open up a window for infinite void to land on Sukuna as one of his win conditions. Sukuna however was using the clashes to allow for each clash to slowly adapt Mahoraga to infinite void by abusing the nature of their sure hit effects and the Dharmachakra. Gojos sure hit targets everything inside the domain, Sukunas targets everything but himself, meaning that during each clash their sure hits would overlap and be nullified everywhere except around Sukuna, causing him to be hit by it during every clash. Normally even 1 hit from gojos domain would end the fight but Sukuna bypassed it by using the dharmachakra, which is the wheel that allows for Mahoraga to adapt.
The adaptation itself only applies to Mahoraga but in order to happen someone has to take the burden of Adaptation, which is usually mahoraga themself but the wheel can be summoned independently of the shikigami and can be the placed on the 10S user to allow them to keep mahoraga safe in the shadows while still adapting. Sukuna placed the wheels on Megumis soul, allowing mahoraga to adapt and himself to avoid getting caught by Gojos sure hit.
Despite Gojo landing his domain first eventually by the time he did mahoraga had already adapted, and the constant use of his domain and the risky RCT use he and Sukuna used to let him reset his domain and technique(basically casting domain fries the part of your brain where your technique is engraved, and takes time to heal on its own which is why you can’t use your technique for a limited time after casting it. They bypassed that limit by destroying that part of their brain and heal it with RCT) left him with brain damage and made him unable to expand his domain again. Sukuna also wound up doing the same thing to himself due to how the adaptation process for mahoraga and the nature of the soul work.
Which left them both without their domain and cooked their brains. Now gojos win condition was simply beating Sukuna to death with his broken as abilities, and he was cooking for basically the whole fight after.
However Sukunas win condition was always to use Mahoraga as a blueprint to find a way to bypass infinity. All he needed to do was survive long enough to learn how to hit Gojo through infinite space by studying how Mahoraga did. The first adaptation that let maho bypass infinity was by altering the nature of his CE basically making it act like how the inverted spear of heaven did, letting the sword of extermination actually cut Gojo. Sukuna can’t alter the nature of his own CE so he needed another way.
The adaptation that Sukuna could use was to alter the nature of what cleave and dismantle target. Before it was like trying to cut through paper with painted scissors. His new adaptation let him cut the paper with actual scissors. Basically instead of cutting through infinite space it cut space itself.
I wrote this special grade level yap to point out just how tactical Sukuna was in this fight. It’s unknown, given 70% of his bag is still secret if Sukuna in his Heian form could learn to bypass infinity or if he had other win conditions without using Mahoraga but regardless Sukuna played the fight smart and that’s why he won. He never truly overpowered Gojo, he outplayed him

After re-reading through the fight, it really did play out how it was supposed to. Sukuna had already said once he learned how to get past infinity he would take advantage of it and win. It was always a fight against time. Sukuna tried to win with domains, and when that didn’t work (Which I have a problem with), he used mahoraga, and stalled best he could while still letting mahoraga adapt. Only bad thing about this fight was gojo being off screened that felt like a cop out, and a let down ending to a great fight.

Sukuna said he was purposely trying to adapt to limitless technique using Mahoraga as a blueprint (basically tanking damage until Mahoraga could find a way to bypass infinity). When that happened, he didn't need Mahoraga anymore and now has the spatial cleave. Plus he was saving his trump card for the end (his true form) to fight anyone else coming his way after the fight since he knew he was gonna take some damage.

Mahoraga is fodder without Sukuna, Gege is not in the fight, Agito is literally fodder didn’t do nothing in the fight. So it’s more like a 2v1 but the 1 of the 2 is extremely dependent on the other for its survival and strenght. So ultimately it’s 1v1.

So in a short Summary
Gojo and Sukuna Boxed
Gojo casted his Domain, which should’ve hit because they’re both in it, but Sukuna’s Domain was bigger, so it destroyed Gojo’s Domain before he can get a fresh cut from the Gojo fade, but since Fraudkuna got hurt, His Domain couldn’t cut Goatjo.
Gojo hits that Mad dash and weave as Sukuna tries to mow him down, but Gojo then heals up just short enough to heal enough, but stilll be quick enough.
So then Gojo does some MMA leg lock and blicks Sukuna in the dome with a Red, proving his Dominance over Sukuna.
So then, When they Domain clash again, Goatjo inflates his Domain so it can wrap around Sukuna’s Domain, then shrinks it to make sure Sukuna can’t run, But their Domains break, But I guess since Void wrapped Sukuna, Unlimited Void hurt Sukuna Badly, and Gojo adds onto it by scrapping and running Sukuna’s pockets, crippling his ability to run another domain, As they race to pull more Domains, Since Sukuna’s already healing he was too slow as Unlimited Void would proceed to deeply penetrate Fraudkuna.
But before Goatjo and Air fry Fraudkuna, Fraudkuna sucks off Mahoraga and uses Papiraga’s ability to use Megumi as a Body shield before he gets straight bodied by Unlimited Void.
So after Fraudkuna meets Papiraga’s 5 piece requirement, Mahoraga now negates Goatjo’s Domain, But Sukuna’s too hurt to use his Domain, So they go straight to scrapping, as Gojo dominates Sukuna in MMA combat, Sukuna decides to Spawn and suck off more Shikigami, as Agito proceeds to heal and pleasure Sukuna.
So Mahoraga slices Goatjo’s arm off, and Sukuna sees this, and baits Mahoraga with more blowies and makes Mahoraga teach him how to bypass infinity.
So after the gangbang, Gojo uses the 360 Purple, Vaporizing the Shikigami and Decimating Sukuna, Goatjo has Won.
But Sukuna’s blowies to Mahoraga payed off, as he appears from nowhere and divides the GOAT into Go / Jo.
Gojo lost to Sukuna glazing, Mahoraga Carrying, Agito stalling and Gege hating.
If it was a 1v1 Gojo woulda won Papiraga carried and call me a Gojo glazer

But what really got me was the audacity of Gege to have Gojo say that Sukuna DIDN'T need Mahoraga.
Like? My fucking ass he didn't need Maho, what else does he have that'd work? Malevolent Shrine didn't kill him, basic Cleaves and Dismantles won't kill him. The Fire Arrow likely ain't getting passed Infinity, and its heat isn't gonna kill Gojo faster than RCT. The only thing that COULD kill Gojo would be World Cutting Slash, but Sukuna is NOT getting the time to use that while Gojo is alive.
Legit, there is not a single situation where Sukuna comes out on top without Mahoraga. There's disliking a character, and then there's Gege deliberately making Gojo insult himself while feeding the audience blatant lies THROUGH HIS OWN THOUGHTS.
What's even crazier is the fact that all this Sukuna glazing just made him look WORSE. Man got turned into the Binding Vow merchant and somehow managed to overshadow MEGUMI in terms of being carried by Mahoraga.
Fr thing is gojo was so strong that sukuna can’t even cast the fire arrow with how much the domain is changing even tho gojo don’t have infinity and at the moment in domains sukuna had to use binding vows to survive which they say is a staple of using and gojo didn’t use no binding vows as we know of which gojo could’ve been even more nutty he was just using his regular abilities while sukuna used everything, gojo thought sukuna just wasn’t using fire arrow cause he wasn’t strong but he was just so strong he can’t even use it on gojo😭

The fight was memorable for me the fandom division into team gojo and team sukuna. The constant heated argument, if you doubt gojo then youre from team sukuna and vice versa. I had a lot fun, some people disagreed w the conclusion but honestly i liked it just the leak panel where gojo was death and comments reaction lmao. Wish i could experience all over those memories again❤.

Sukuna had to play defensively, then when maho showed him a way to get through infinity, sukuna moved to a more aggressive play style. Gojo showed off but sukuna knew his win condition was different from gojos, 1sukuna kills gojo ez once he breaks through infinity, and he knew that. Honestly the fight was top tier and shows sukunas and gojos strength and weaknesses, as for the afterlife drama, I think it was a good close off to gojos character, a man who was arrogant and prideful, all while being lonely bc of his status, finally found satisfaction in the fight with sukuna, and gets bitter when he realizes sukuna held back. Shit talk the story and call it plot all you want it was a damn good fight and solid conclusion to “battle of the strongest".
I loved the fight but it's a shame that so many people are just riding Gojo and blind themselves to the fact that Sukuna would have won anyway if he just went back to his Heian form any time he wanted to.
It was shit. The monologue didn't even make sense as it was not inline with his character the previous chapter. Sukuna says taking purple at close range would be fatal then proceeds to take the same amount of damage as he did from red when hit with a point blank purple. The purple eviserated mahoraga who could tank black flash from gojo, while sukuna got knocked out, but somehow sukuna only loses an arm from it. You can try to justify it however you want but the conclusion of the fight was garbage.

Gojo's infinity is automatic you cant bypass it by attacking from behind. Sukuna bypassed it by cutting through the space infinity was manipulating to infinitely slow attacks. A way to conceptualize it is as a sword. Real swords don't literally cut through the air they go through at the most basic level they hust displace it. Sukuna literally cut through the makeup of infinity and was able to cut gojo because of it.
in short he did not use his dismantle as his projectile move instead he spawned it itself therefore cutting goatjo.

GOJO is just not fast enough to react to the Cleave, like we saw in the beginning of the fight when sukuna slashed a building behind he was just saved by infinity and was shocked by not even realize it. So it's just that Gojo didn't just see the cleave coming and this time No infinity was carrying him so he just got SPEEDBLITZ and when he realized it he was already dead. ✅
