Great ol tractors, hands down my favorite. There a fella on youtube under the handle "tractorman44" he's a wealth of knowledge on these old massey's I highly recommend checking his channel out!
Using the 22lr empty was a stroke of rural Canadian genius! Lots of those laying around. And 'rocket appliances' is now part of the lexicon. Hope my 44 runs as sweet when I'm done with it!
I'm thinking of buying my neighbors MH 44. Comes with a scraper and a Loader with push blade. Thanks for starting her up. 2021!! It's not ROCKET SCIENCE - It's Rocket Appliances....LOL!
Ain’t nothing sweet sounding as a 44 with a straight pipe in a hard pull !! The old gals really cackle when you remove the muffler .... kinda hard on your ears though. LOL. I do love a 44, my favorite tractor....whodathunk huh. Fun video.
Thanks Wendell!! Those ol 44 sure are a proud work horse, I think the project 44 will be straight pipe as it's gonna likely be a pulling tractor lol Thanks for tuning in man!
Yesser I certainly do love the old lug and tread! I've Honestly not seen the HEI ignition but I'm always up for trying something out!! She ran great with that ol .22 brass in it I really didn't even want to swap that one out as I thought the story was funny 😜 she's still chugging along with the new one tho ☺ thanks for dropping in man!!
That's awesome man!!! They made such a simple and reliable product back then I love all that old stuff weather it be a tractor, car or steam engine lol
So that's the sound of the Massey 44, always seen these all over, but never heard one run. Thinking of getting one just to restore as collect.
