The corvette Z06 is a serious track car!, I was happy to sorta hold on as well as I did. We are getting the Alfa 4C dialed in and it's just getting better and better.
If you don't already have them installed.....GWS uniballs in the rear lower triangles. Simple upgrade and huge difference in feel as the stock tends to change rear camber under hard cornering forces so gives a sloppy feel. The 4C has a handling and braking advantage over many cars once some minor tweaks are done. Your ECU is fine but might want to consider a bigger intercooler. The stock one is fine for the hp of the stock engine but as you add power the intercooler is the bottle neck. Other than that..... it is seat time. Gale at GMS has very well thought out upgrades that make a huge difference. He has a video on TH-cam where he is doing some serious racing with Porsche GT3RS and his times are equal to the fastest couple of them. My car is mostly stock other than the uniballs and some alignment tweaks. I am no longer a tracking fiend as I am 76 years old. Want to keep my 2015 4C LE pristine as I love it. Bought the car new and has been a love affair. I have had other ALFAs and also raced an ALFA GTV in SCCA back in 70s. Are you on the 4C Forum.... I am one of the Super Moderators there.
Good work ! Btw Were you in Narural/ normal mode while placing the time? Dash looked gray colored from the footage. It was shifting automatically I’d try it in Dynamic. I have the phase two tune and I notice the car pulling much harder in dynamic or then in race. That aside. Happy to see it in the vets tail! I need those shims too. Hate the jumping around. I’ve been daily driving it here in Austin tx for a few months haha DEFINITELY had some close calls w the car trying to switch lanes on me due to the dang tramlining 😅 Keep up the good work !
Thanks! I was in race mode using the paddles. The yellow on the dash screen doesn't pop out well on camera. Yeah the alignment shims make a big difference! Also a wider wheel/tire setup helped mine a lot. I've got some more upgrade videos in the pipeline, the car is getting better and better.
@@TheAllAmericanDriver my understanding is it adds some much needed downforce to the front end to counter the downforce that comes with adding a rear wing.

Been watching since d s2k. I know you didnt get to maximize the s2k to its full potential before the accident. But which one you enjoy more? The balance of the s2k? The power of the 4C? Hopefully i c u in December.
I appreciate the support on the channel!!! The S2000 is more fun, but the 4C feels more special. I’m actively making moves to get another S2000. I made an offer on one down in Miami but it didn’t work out. I’ll get another one soonish, but it won’t replace the 4C, it will be in addition. It’s funny I still have some S2K upgrades in my garage. Lol.
That's awesome, congrats on your new PB with the AR4C. That's crazy that you're in striking distance of the 350R. That was some impressive runs with the Z06
He’s improved a lot as a driver since the gt350r videos. The 350r time wasn’t representative of what the car can do at its limit. Not knocking on him btw, rather recognizing his progress.

Thanks! It is stock motor, but it has a stage 1 ECU from Alfaworks, and it has the carbon fiber cold air intake from GMS.

Rear control arms , turbo back exhaust, inter cooler , light weight battery and a carbon fiber hatch. These modifications should be on your list. 🍀
Some of those parts may or may not be on the way! Sounds like you have yours pretty dialed in!
You should take both side panels off when racing that on a track to keep that engine even cooler

Love my 4c. Very similar set up as yours from the factory with the Akra. No mods though. Just love seeing how this car can be pushed with some mods.
I really like the Akra exhaust! Overall the 4C is good from the factory, but yeah I guess we always want a little more! haha
What was your best time in your S2000?
If I remember correctly it was a 124.4. I do miss that car, not the fastest, but so fun.
