The most amazing part of this game is that knowing there are no loading screens when going out of the castle. That alone is simply amazing.

This game is everything I ever wanted. I remember growing up and reading the books with my mom, going to the events every time the new book in the series came out at Barnes and noble, dressing up and standing in line for the movie release. 31 years old now and I know as soon as I start playing this game, I’ll feel like a lil kid again

This game looks insane! So incredibly detailed, you can tell how much love they put into it. I just wish we could've seen some flying!
i really wish we get a dedicated online expansion at some point. seeing other players in your session randomly attending classes, playing quidditch, or just out in open world would be amazing. Not to mention having factions based around whatever house you're in would be a given, then the hour glasses they made would have a purpose cuz the winning faction at the end of each "term" or season would get a reward

BUT...
The facial animation could do with some improvement. The voice acting sounded a bit off. Walking around the corridors felt 'empty' and I wish there was a bit more interactivity!
I know the footage that was shown was a 'work in progress' so I hope its a lot better when the game officially releases! Still excited for it though!😆

I just hope in the final game the HUD is a lot more dynamic, like it's minimal when just exploring then will show when the wand is out.

The devs say in this video that we will be able to change the HUD as we are pleased because they know people love to just seeing the screen without many things in the way.

The good thing is that they basically didnt had to create something from scratch. Making the model is what takes the most time, coming up with the idea on paper. Hogwarts existed. They just needed to render it. So they had a lot of time for detail and other stuff like easter eggs etc. I hope..

This is why games like Genshin Impact became so popular. There is just something mystical, magical, and mesmerizing about Open-world games. It’s awesome how you could SEE something from a distance and have the freedom to ACTUALLY go there without barriers and whatnot. Exploration is something a lot of people love about a game. Add in a top notch soundtrack, a simple yet thrilling gameplay, beautiful aesthetics and graphics, and a movie or series like story line and you have a game that would be loved by many for years to come.
The online could have so much potential. Something like having online quidditch matches would be great!
I can’t wait to play this game, exploring every nook and cranny of the castle, finally having the opportunity to play as a Slytherin AND being able to cast Avada Kedavra on anyone who tries to get in my way!

You don’t know if hallway activity is dependent on the current time. However, I do hope they add mod-ability to this game so we can remedy the shortcomings.
I still think if they could add a co-op feature to the game like far cry that would be so perfect. Just literally to invite a friend to your game and mess around in the world of hogwarts.
I think that would make it even better.

I wonder what the combat system on PC will be like. On one of the Harry Potter PC games, the way you moved your cursor on the screen during combat determined what spell you'd use. That was a great idea. You'd click on either the left or right button and move the cursor around to use attack and deffense spells or usual spells that you need throughout the main story. It was brilliant!

Last time I played Harry Potter game was over 10 years ago. My first own Harry Potter game was Order Of The Phoenix for ps2 and I just loved it. Sometimes I also played other HP games at my friends house and thats how I got used to like Harry Potter, cant wait to get to play Hogwarts Legacy!

I have VERY high expectations for this game. It has been a long time that they’ve been putting it together though, I feel like way they’re talking, they themselves are big Fans of the Wizarding World beyond Harry Potter. This will be the game that drives me to buy whatever console I can play it on!!
I haven’t had a PlayStation since ps3. I’ll be all over this game and by the time it’s released, my kids will be old enough to appreciate it too. They’re already getting into it now so it’ll be exciting to explore it all together ❤

Quick thought, what if e-learning was implemented in this game? Imagine that when there would be another pandemic, instead of trying to stay awake at zoom, skype or moodle meeting you could just wonder around Hogwart with friend in the free time, while taking classes like you normally would, but in in-game classroms ie. real world geography, but with animated, interactive maps or real chemistry which would look like in-game elixirs class. How much more entertaining it would be, especially for young children?

I understand the graphics may not be top tier but as long as everything else falls into place this game is going to be a masterpiece. @@brandonwinchester2811 A lot of us have very high end PC's so we are used to almost life like graphics. So in that respect, no, these graphics are not top tier at all....nice but nothing special.
@@rixsta911 dunno why youre being sort of patronising. I have a 3080 with a ryzen 9. I wouldnt class that a low end pc by any means, the graphics look good..
To me i dont understand the questioning of the graphic fidelity. To me this looks very good especially in 4k. Gameplay with combat looks great and controls make a ton of sense and clearly is taken off the arkham games. Really excited for this. But hopefully in DLC they add mini things to do like quidditch or wizards chess
Facial animations look like those from 15 years ago. Hopefully they’ll improve them by launch

Visually it' does look absolutely stunning, the attention to detail inside and out for the school I hoped it would be truly.
Now for the things I'm concerned about regarding this massive grand school is the "Heartbeat inner core atmosphere" which brings the whole school alive is the students.
I hope they haven't just spent all this time solely on the graphics side and forgot the "core" of any game, is the feeling that you are in a school that brings it alive with kids being kids and not static emptiness feeling inside?

Yeah I agree. In this gameplay it does seem quite dead. I feel once the effect of how great the graphics are wears off, you’re left with a pretty bland world
The graphics are good could be better for this new generation. These graphics look similar to GTA5, and this level of graphics could have probably been achieved years ago.
@@gillettig1865 i think you are giving GTA V more credit than it deserves. im giving you an unnecessarily long response since i stumbled into the rabbit hole. i agree it feels similar atleast, it has the over the shoulder view and the mini map. but the lighting and volumetrics, textures and overall geometry is way denser. graphics wise, you have to take in account who is making the game, and the fact that it's an open world game. open world games tend to be very difficult performance wise during development. Read Dead Redemption 2 had 1.700 devs working on it. god of war 2 is broken into smaller worlds and had atleast 300 devs working on it. GTA V had 1000 devs. this game has about 150 devs working on it. they have also been working on it for a shorter dev cycle. so it's not really a fair comparison! but the feel is similar i would agree.

Hollow, Although there is no plans for multiplayer, they said they did this because they wanted to focus more on the world and the interactions within it. This game will be one of the best singleplayer game in the past few years in my opinion, and im not even a big harry potter fan, it just looks amazing (Graphically) and has an amazing concept behind it.
I honestly did not expect such detailed face models for this game they look amazing, I'm already gonna spend a good hour making a character I can tell haha

Combat: Good
Graphics: Good
Animations: Bad
Gameplay: Good (So far)
Immersive: Decent (Needs more students/personality)
Face animations are lifeless and student interactions feel very robotic. Also it is the little details that make great games spectacular, like RDR2. Bumping into students, opening doors, running down/up the stairs, all of these can be dramatically improved by adding animations that go with the situation.
Open world looks breathtaking, and character customization screen, and the character models, look so real, lively, and detailed, unlike the in-game scenes.
I hope these little things can be fixed in a day 1 patch or so.
Then again, this was recorded on a PS5, and although its "next-gen" graphics these can always be better on a PC. So from character rendering to overall performance I'm guessing PC will give the best experience. So having a PC I'll probably still buy it on the first week, after I see some in-depth reviews.

It would be cool that when you are in combat the spells and the health will appear, and when you are out of combat just exploring only the minimap will appear
How big is Hogwarts, my uncle is not into games but he read the books 100 of times so when he saw this, he teared up bc how far tech have gone and back than you can only imagine things in your head while reading but ik harry potter franchises showed Hogwarts but not every corner and cant tell how big is it plus it was short compare to books and those who read the books are not impressed by the movies but this actually makes more sense

I always wanted a game ND now they finally Have one that's not a Lego one.. the Lego one was actually really good tho.. I've been playing some of the old HP games to prepare myself and I am SO stoked!
IMAGINE if in the first time one plays the game, they will have to answer a set of questioms (so the game analyzes your personality) and by your personality the hat chooses a house for you (to make it more immersive)
And once you finish the storyline with your hous, only then you’re able to do the other houses

i dont think the character creation is that indepth combared to other games i played,single player or mmorpgs but i can say they focused on Quality over Quantity which is fine for me ,i like the look and let us make more or less a character we want if us or others
my dream is to make hermione and play as her,sadly i cant make her look like year 1 but the hair is there,,and the other options and is already good enough
considering we can make our character and no play a locked character forever is a big plus
but just to answer,, this game is for PC too ,you also have the pc specs minim-recommandation on their website
no online, just single player but you have NPC companions like on skyrim so u wont feel alone playing if u want some company

most important thing in an open world game is npc interaction in my opinion. Don't want to run around like a ghost. RDR2 set some standards for me haha.

The game has strange graphics Some textures are realistic, some are not.
To me the most important part is the atmosphere and so much attention that after a year of playing you can keep on discovering new things. I wonder how much the world evolves and how the NPC's commute within themselves.

Ambient occlusion looks a little rough in some spots like the accent pillow on the bed or people sitting on the couch, sort of looking like its/they are floating. But awesome nonetheless!

Really not a fan of Harry Potter, and probably won't play this. But I'm glad this has kinda reignited the fandom for pretty much Harry Potter in general.
It looks great, but I notice the frame rate drops are still very much present. I’m not hopeful it will run as smoothly as it should upon release.
