    Very nice! Thanks for the video! By any chance, do you know a way to edit that midi once is moved to logic? for example using the repeat mode for HiHats? or adding chords using chords functionality from Maschine but directly into Logic? I found that going back an forth breaks the creative process, I would like to be able to use all the maschine features but to write the midi directly into Logic, than I feel I would have the piece of kit I dream of hah there is always the option to go back to Maschine, and then pass the midi... but it would be nice to find the way. Cheers man

      @VibeSynthetic  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ahhh i think these features i will need to check it out experiment on it. it could be possible through native instruments kontrol editor panel for the play pause buttons but not too sure about chord modes and note repeat. it might be the case that the chord mode will have to find something similar of a function in logic and map that button as a midi send.
      i believe native instruments features are quite exclusive unless its about controlling features from plugins or daws which they are more accepting and intuitive with their hardware.
      thanks for this question. i might still do a lil research and see if this is a possible thing to do. thanks for supporting my channel and watching this video as well!

    Highly underrated video, major like, thanks for this! Question: sometimes I want to share a project with friends that don't have maschine. Is there a way to export the samples from mashine to the logic sampler/DMD, and then also paste the midi from maschine (that part is shown in this video)? That way I could share the project with my friends, and the midi is still editable (instead of exporting the entire stems as wav from maschine). Hope you understand the question and have an answer :)!

    • @VibeSynthetic
      @VibeSynthetic  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey man thanks for the love! Well to answer your question, you can export midi patterns from maschine as a midi file. Then the samples you just have to give the other party separately as wav file and ensure that the wav samples are in order in DMD same as the order in Maschine’s sound slots. Then from there you can drag the midi files into the timeline for logic with the DMD multi-output tracks. Hope that helps!
      In anycase, let me know if you need me to do a video on this!

      @@VibeSynthetic Great and thanks for the answer. A video on this would be great since i'm still pretty new at this. what is the easiest way to give the other party the wav files of the samples? (how to export the samples out of a maschine kit easily)?

    • @VibeSynthetic
      @VibeSynthetic  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tendingtropic7778 In Maschine, theres a way to export MIDI and sound slots in groups. You can export in maschine via groups/sounds as wav format. Then the MIDI is another process. I think I should do a video out of this topic! Will definitely make things work. I hop you have subbed as I will probably take the next 2 weeks to release this video :) Thanks for the content idea and definitely will help others too on this agenda. Keep on the look out.

    How would you import automation information that's on a pattern into logic as well? I did the steps you mentioned and it worked, except for the automation. None of that come thru. Any thoughts?

    • @avinashlalwani1475
      @avinashlalwani1475 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But ideally not by recording audio into logic, but by keeping the info in midi format. Is it possible? Thanks in advance!

    • @VibeSynthetic
      @VibeSynthetic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hi there! thanks for reaching out man. just wondering - do you mean automation in maschine to logic? if so, i wouldn’t automate in maschine because the principle of the integration with logic is to have full control over the maschine sounds on each channel strip and draw the automations straight in logic.
      the other way round is you can load up komplete kontrol as vst and then in komplete kontrol open up maschine and follow the video instructions. after the setup - you can use your hardware encoders to control stuff in maschine and then write automation through the encoders.
      mayb u can try and let me know! :)

    • @avinashlalwani1475
      @avinashlalwani1475 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I meant automation from maschine into logic. I like to work in maschine, like yourself, mess with the filters, envelopes, etc, and create movement in my tracks. But I want to import that information into logic along with the midi like you showed in the video.
      I will try the Komplete Kontrol idea you mentioned and let you know, but I believe I will have the same problem when loading into logic no? I will try.
      I guess if that doesn't work then the only other way is to record as audio and import the wav file to logic.

      do let me know if the komplete kontrol method works! - because the automation is technically supposed to map to KK’s knobs

      for future recordings on maschine + logic
      - ensure that the record button is both activated on maschine hardware and logic
      - the click will come from logic so you will need to turn on the metronome there and when u press r in logic, maschine will start recording as you play a note on the hardware as and follow in the timeline of logic

    I did exactly what you did but when I drag my midi from the maschine pattern it still creates 16 tracks with logic orchestral instruments. I have to move the midi to the empty tracks in logic and delete the orchestral instruments every time I drag a new pattern over. How do I stop this? It’s insane.

    • @cb52593
      @cb52593 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, if I only need to use 4-6 sounds and I select those and only have that number of tracks created in logic, it still adds all of the remaining, unneeded tracks with empty midi regions

    • @VibeSynthetic
      @VibeSynthetic  7 หลายเดือนก่อน
