Skate 3 was one of those games I never had but played a ton at friends houses so that game was a big part of growing up for me too. I picked up a copy on Xbox 360 last year for the memories and was hit by a wave of nostalgia going back to the old skateparks. Thanks for subscribing btw!!!

TU14 for ever! I'm 52 now and playin' on my PC with Forge, lots of mods and shaders, but was grinning the whole time I saw the old tutorial world. This was my first ever minecraft world. My sons infected me.. I loved also the great mash-up-packs at halloween or christmas. There was a world, skins and custom music. My PS3 is still waiting in the cabinet.. maybe I'll give it a chance. I still play Minecraft legacy edtion today. I still play with my friends and play battle. This brings back so many memories. I remember watching so many youtubers and thinking the dumbest things were real when I was little. Like Herobrine, rockets, time machines, and air planes. I also remember my friend pranking me pretending to be Herobrine. I was so scared for my life.

I have so many memories of playing split screen ps3 minecraft tutorial worlds with my friends when my dad took me to my aunt's house when he had work. A lot of friendships were made and a lot of time during sleepover's were spent on this game. The world felt like it was truly a safe and peaceful place in the ps3/xbox 360 era.
Im turning 20 in March man 😭 how time flies by. The music in this game brings back so many memories playing with my little brother. It was a difficult time for us back then, but at the same time it was our way of escaping. Ive never been so close with my little bro since then, so I still look back at this version of the game very fondly.

the old crafting menu with the crafting table SUCKED compared to the modern one. You had to scroll to the thing you wanted to craft and half the time it wasnt on the screen

4J Studios did something wonderful with these console ports that MCPE and Beta just can’t beat. Thankful to have a legacy switch & PS3/4 version of the game to this day.
Minecraft, Black Ops 1 & 2, Skate 3, Mass Effect Trilogy, Borderlands 1 & 2, etc, etc. All these games were peak gaming. Man, I miss those times so much.

i remember i would use my brothers mic and join random peoples worlds on his friends list and just hang out with them. they were all a bit older than me, i was about 7 when they were all closer to 13-15, i felt so cool just being around older kids, and i still have so many core memories surrounding this version. it will always be so immensely precious to me. Thank you for helping me go through the hardest moments of my life, Minecraft. i truly feel like you saved me.

I remember walking into the store and buying a brand new copy of minecraft. Me and my sister had a blast playing it as it had so many more features compared to the pocket edition at the time. In the past few days I literally came back to the PS3 version. I mostly played back in 2014 when I was 9 with the disc copy and messed around in creative with a bit of survival too. I did like exploring the tutorial world and using it to see more of what the game had. As the years went on I did play less of it as I played other games as well as went to other versions of Minecraft like on my iPad and eventually Xbox One/Series X. However it’s nice to go back to the legacy console editions I have good memories of on the PS3 as well as with my uncle splitscreen on the Xbox One edition which I don’t own but he did. I just find they’re well made for the consoles, the limited world size I actually kinda like as you get to know the world and have to be mindful of not draining all the non renewable resources and the mini games are still great today, and active at least on PS3. Plus it’s kinda nice going back to the older pre revamp verisons(apart from oceans which really needed them) modernish Minecraft but still nostalgic at this point.
@@MoikeIsJesus420 I'm kinda like that now, I switched to PC last year and my Xbox One and Series X collect dust while my PC sees plenty of use. Backwards compatibility is a moot point if the PC plays that era of games natively with maxed settings at 4K the consoles never did lol. PS3 however I find still has a place.
Ps3 is my favorite one with Wii U being second But I have to admit those castle crashers skins on Xbox were fire That’s why I used the colored race car drivers on other versions sense they had a similar color scheme
Best version of Minecraft available for consoles, no 1.14 annoying pillager outposts or crap villages, update aquatic, online still supported, and I’ve recently started playing on here again and it’s the best Mc experience I’ve had in years.
I remember playing Legacy Edition on my PS3 with my friend and cousin SO MUCH when I was like, 7 or 8. We used to play on the tutorial world with Stampy's Lovely World in it and we would just destroy it and make a weird post apocalyptic story out of it. Same with the mash up pack worlds (like Little Big Planet, the festive world, the Skyrim world, the Mass Effect World, the Halloween world, etc.)
Man minecraft was my whole entire childhood, I really LOVED the tutorial world cause there was so many cool things to find, I used to always go to the docks under the farms and fish there while wearing the black knight skin and blowing things up every so often. Brings back so many childhood memories.

I MISS THAT VERSION I used to play it loads and had 2 SD cards with different worlds saved and both of them corrupted when I last went to check them out :( I'd love to do a video on this version soon, I'll probably need to emulate it though so I can record the screen
@@JerooMinecraft the official vita memory cards are notorious for corrupting unfortunately. there's a huge hacking scene around the vita now, so I use a switch 64gb with a specially made adapter. but the vita is such a great handheld modern day, it gets community ports and games all the time and is just amazing. hell, they even released a "minecraft: enhanced" recently. and the multiplayer servers are still fairly active, there's usually always a survival games lobby or two.
In 2020 my parents got me and my brother a ps3, and even though it isnt the best console it was the first console we got, and ofc the first game we get is minecraft. and we used to play for hours day after day, but in 2021 our parents got us an xbox, it was alot better so we just ditched the ps3 even though we really loved it, fastforward to christmas 2023, and we decide to try and set up the ps3 again because we were just so nastalogic for the good ol days, and we succeeded and it's amazing, we were so happy when we opened minecraft and we saw all our worlds that we litterally screamed at the top of our lungs lol. so to this day, idc what anyone says. ps3 edition is the best mc edition, it's just so unique and so well made for a ps3 game and i might just be blinded by nastalgia but again idc i genuinly believe it is amazing.

PS3 edition was my first ever console experience with Minecraft. Finally playing it led to being around friends from other games more often! It was THE times, now everyone has not as much time to even get on.

Even when my child hood consoles were the 360 and Wii u. The minecraft Mini games hold a place in my heart they were amazing i wish they were added to bedrock. NGL i was a champ a tumble and elytra race but i sucked a the battle minigame.
I still to this day play the ps4 edition with my best friend instead of the Microsoft version. It doesn't have any of the fancy new blocks or mobs, but I just like the simplicity of it. Atleast it has the aquatic update
few years ago in like 2018 i used to play minecraft at my aunts house on my cousins old ps3, i was trying to build like a fun park that had a rolercoster which would drop down at a really big height. I never finished it. This gives me so many memories i had back then i wish i never got older
I have my Ps3 since 2015 and that was my first and only console. I play Minecraft a lot, specially minigames, it’s pretty nice seeing a lot of people still play it too
"Where Are We Now" is the name of the track by C418. In game the music discs are supposed to have the other games. This naming is due to a mistake by 4J studios, which also added the track "Dog" to the end of the "Cat" disc (dog wasn't supposed to actually be in the game.

Last consoles i bought were the ps3 and xbox 360. Since then ive been a pc gamer. But I always go back to ps3
@@MoikeIsJesus420 I'm kinda like that now, I switched to PC last year and my Xbox One and Series X collect dust while my PC sees plenty of use. Backwards compatibility is a moot point if the PC plays that era of games natively with maxed settings at 4K the consoles never did lol. PS3 however I find still has a place.

Best version of Minecraft available for consoles, no 1.14 annoying pillager outposts or crap villages, update aquatic, online still supported, and I’ve recently started playing on here again and it’s the best Mc experience I’ve had in years.

I remember playing Legacy Edition on my PS3 with my friend and cousin SO MUCH when I was like, 7 or 8. We used to play on the tutorial world with Stampy's Lovely World in it and we would just destroy it and make a weird post apocalyptic story out of it. Same with the mash up pack worlds (like Little Big Planet, the festive world, the Skyrim world, the Mass Effect World, the Halloween world, etc.)

Man minecraft was my whole entire childhood, I really LOVED the tutorial world cause there was so many cool things to find, I used to always go to the docks under the farms and fish there while wearing the black knight skin and blowing things up every so often. Brings back so many childhood memories.

I MISS THAT VERSION I used to play it loads and had 2 SD cards with different worlds saved and both of them corrupted when I last went to check them out :( I'd love to do a video on this version soon, I'll probably need to emulate it though so I can record the screen
@@JerooMinecraft the official vita memory cards are notorious for corrupting unfortunately. there's a huge hacking scene around the vita now, so I use a switch 64gb with a specially made adapter. but the vita is such a great handheld modern day, it gets community ports and games all the time and is just amazing. hell, they even released a "minecraft: enhanced" recently. and the multiplayer servers are still fairly active, there's usually always a survival games lobby or two.
In 2020 my parents got me and my brother a ps3, and even though it isnt the best console it was the first console we got, and ofc the first game we get is minecraft. and we used to play for hours day after day, but in 2021 our parents got us an xbox, it was alot better so we just ditched the ps3 even though we really loved it, fastforward to christmas 2023, and we decide to try and set up the ps3 again because we were just so nastalogic for the good ol days, and we succeeded and it's amazing, we were so happy when we opened minecraft and we saw all our worlds that we litterally screamed at the top of our lungs lol. so to this day, idc what anyone says. ps3 edition is the best mc edition, it's just so unique and so well made for a ps3 game and i might just be blinded by nastalgia but again idc i genuinly believe it is amazing.

PS3 edition was my first ever console experience with Minecraft. Finally playing it led to being around friends from other games more often! It was THE times, now everyone has not as much time to even get on.

Even when my child hood consoles were the 360 and Wii u. The minecraft Mini games hold a place in my heart they were amazing i wish they were added to bedrock. NGL i was a champ a tumble and elytra race but i sucked a the battle minigame.
I still to this day play the ps4 edition with my best friend instead of the Microsoft version. It doesn't have any of the fancy new blocks or mobs, but I just like the simplicity of it. Atleast it has the aquatic update
few years ago in like 2018 i used to play minecraft at my aunts house on my cousins old ps3, i was trying to build like a fun park that had a rolercoster which would drop down at a really big height. I never finished it. This gives me so many memories i had back then i wish i never got older

"Where Are We Now" is the name of the track by C418. In game the music discs are supposed to have the other games. This naming is due to a mistake by 4J studios, which also added the track "Dog" to the end of the "Cat" disc (dog wasn't supposed to actually be in the game.
