I just got one. I am stunned. No plans to upgrade. Not even new strings and polish the frets. But the quality of the build would be excellent for upgrading if you are so inclined.

Thank you, grazie.Great video and beautiful sound. I bought the harley benton TE52 3 months ago. For its price is very very good telecaster. I've loved especially the sound of the neck pickup. After 2 months i've changed the pickups with fender tele 64 pickups, i put the same string tree by the graph tech, new tuners by gotoh, new brass saddles by fender, new pots by cts ,a new nuts and a new fender 3 vie selector !! Now ,i think my TE52 can compete with fender tele vintera and fender tele performer and it is better than fender player plus. Greetings from Italy

I think this just goes to show that you don’t have to pay $1500 to get a great sound. Learn how to solder and set up guitars, and combine that knowledge with about $500, and you’ve got yourself a guitar that can compete with some of the best money can pay for.
Everyone that’s watching this video knows that once you get over a certain price point for a stock guitar, you’re just paying for preference rather than actually receiving a substantial increase in quality. Harley Benton has made it entirely possible now to say “ya know what, screw that price point! Let’s just bring it lower, and leave it on the consumer to upgrade if they want!”
…and that’s exactly what everyone who’s watching this is doing (or trying to do) right now

Came back this morning to sub. My guitar is on iit's way, not sure if I will mod it or not, i generally don't. That old Silverface Bassman needs upgrading to my home in Texas!!! LOLI Man it sounds great. I had an old 68 Super and I miss it. I want a Twin, thinking if a Tonemaster. No money anymore for what I really want. I have been very happy with my Boss Katana for rock sounds...well, for all, actually. If you get bored check it out. I'm playing a semi budget guitar that is the best sleeper guitar I know of. I have two, when I find another I'll tell you what it is!! They stopped making them in 94, and I like it every bit as much as my old 335.

It seems you put a lot of money time and effort into it where's I would have went for a fender MIM as there great guitars and maybe just changed the tuners or the bridge but that's only if I had to, sounds great and you did a fine job 👍🏼

Nice vid. I have one of these and I like it ,stock. Very few people mention the nearly 14" radius fingerboard. I'm OK with it but that is substantially different to the , generally, 9 1/2" standard radius.
