Just got my TE-52 the other day, fantastic guitar for the price. Currently having a Gotoh modern Tele bridge, Fender tuners and Tusq Graphite Nut installed, can't wait to get it back.
Hi! Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your first video immensely! I just enjoy modding guitars. Why?, beacause i do, and your video was a great source for inspiration! Doesnt really matter if there was a significant need or not in my opinion, as long as i’m having fun and continue to enjoy my guitar exploration journey! All the best!!
@@calvertbrothers Hi, l used Brio 6 in line locking tuners from Carparelli guitars.com and I had to enlarge headstock holes to make them fit with a Handle Reamer. They also sell that tool at Carparelli. Amazing service by the way! Enjoy!
@@petercyr3508 Got the guitar and changed the saddles and the string trees. Made a big difference alredy. After I replace the tuners and the nut I'm sure it will turn into a great quality guitar for sure 👍
@@jukkisk88 Thanks for the follow up. I may do the saddles and string trees too based on your experience. I am going to buy them anyway. What brand? Just the saddles or the entire bridge? What nut would you use?
The only real gripe I have with my Lefty Harley TE 52........is its heavy weight............however having said that,;..............I will dress the fret ends, change to brass saddles, upgrade the string trees, install a CRT 4-way switch, add some vintage wax capacitors, install some lefty Audio potentiometers and shield the pickups.........that should overshadow the weight for me.....oh BTW, the pickups are capable of doing all I need them to do after the electronic mods are completed.
Hello, a question which I just dropped to Thomann is what brench we need to adjust the truss rod of the TE-52. can you tel me in advance please? thanks! bye...
Great video, i like mine but it's just so heavy... it's about 5 kilos (10 pounds) how is yours? I'm debating on selling it and buying an alder wood telecaster instead.
I just bought one this week and it only weighs a hair under 7 pounds. I wonder if they changed something recently? Personally I'd rather have a heavier guitar.
Hello, I was wondering if a standard fender tele neck would fit this body. I tried looking for neck pocket dimensions, but I couldn’t find measurements anywhere. Could you please help me answer this question by sending neck pocket measurements for this guitar? Thank you
I'm a mod addict. And an engineer. But the only thing I've changed in my three Harleys was the strings
lol
HBs are pretty cool in stock) But common problem is in pickups

shielding doesnt affect pu noise, Its for rf and dirty ac fluorescent lights etc,. ie, outside sources.
Awesome tune you wrote man!!!
Thanks man! ;)
Guitar sounds wonderful. Some of the Big brands really do make a big profit on each guitar they sell.
у меня тоже TE-52!..очень крутой инструмент 👍🎉🎉🎉
I'm going to get the TE-52 and upgrade at least the saddles and the nut. The track rocks btw!
Thanks! That sounds like a plan 👍🏻
That is the correct place to start IMO.
