Hi Haiko, vielen Dank für die kompakte Vorstellung! Ich hatte nen Classic 30 und liebte seinen Cleansound… Overdrive fand ich immer etwas undefiniert. Hab ihn wegen Gewicht verkauft…. und überlege jetzt ihn mir wieder für 300-400€ gebraucht zu kaufen. Jetzt höre ich das hier 😊 Da man den Classic 20 Combo wahrscheinlich nicht gebraucht bekommt stellt sich mir die Frage, ob er die 600€ mehr wert ist… wenn man wahrscheinlich eh ein Zerrpedal davor hängt…aber das muss ich wohl selber entscheiden 😉 VG Jürgen

netter Überblick. Eigentlich war ich auf der Suche nach dem älteren Classic 20 Combo ... den gab es ja schon mal in den 90ern ... mit eher traditioneller Gestaltung und Technik ... hätte als Erwähnung zum Thema "Geschichte" vielleicht dazu gehört auch hier, oder? :)

Hey Haiko, could you please tell me what effects you using or at least tell me how can I get this sort of tone. I use Kemper profiler and can try out. Would be really helpful. I hear sort of Guthrie tone in here.

Nice. I have two of these..the black one and the purist blue color. I thought about changing the neck and middle with Alnico pickups. Should I? What are your thoughts. I mean, the stock pickups are ceramic and sound pretty great, but I'm planning to maybe change one of mine to Alnico noiseless pickups, like the Seymour Duncan STK-4.

Answer is yes, but… a buddy of mine owned the rare 100w, 8 EL84 power tube, Peavey Classic 100 Head. Amazing and also 100w.

Good video! But here are my 2 cents about Laney lol I honestly don’t know if I’m asking for too much, but they really should make the stock cab emulator sound better. My old Ironheart SLS had probably the same cab emulation. It’s usable but could have been much better. Pretty much any stock 4x12 V30 digital IR will sound better. It sounded like they used an EQ to do the cab emulation. Again, don’t take me too seriously. This is just my opinion and it does not matter. Maybe my ears are too accustomed to tones out of plug ins or modellers, but that cab emulation still sound like the typical raspy tone when the output signal of a head has no cab. Other than that, the video has very good production quality, keep it up!

After 2 months i've changed the pickups with fender tele 64 pickups, i put the same string tree by the graph tech, new tuners by gotoh,new brass saddles by fender,new pots by cts ,a new nuts and a new fender 3 vie selector !! Now ,i think my TE52 can compete with fender tele vintera and fender tele performer and it is better than fender player plus. Greetings from Italy
