    I got the left handed version. You are absolutely right, DO NOT LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU! These guitars should be priced 4-5 times over what they are now. Harley Benton's are the real deal.

    I gig with two TE-52’s. One with Wilkinson pups and one with Roswell pups. They weigh a ton: 4.3 kg. and 4.5 kg., but the necks are fantastic and they can outplay each Fender Tele up to their midrange price, so you can buy ten of the HB’s and who wants to be on the road with a Tele of a couple of thousands?
    Get one and have a great time!

    • @rucksackrules2266
      @rucksackrules2266 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Lo60mk The Roswells for sure. They sound amazing and can match up to a lot of the more expensive brands. Take a fair amount of time for tweaking your amplifier and you’ll succeed in producing the sound you’ll like. It matters for recording what guitar you use, but otherwise you can get the sound of a very expensive guitar from a cheap guitar.
      Sometimes people forget that the sound they hear from their musical heroes in their beginnings came from totally trash instruments, because they couldn’t afford the real deal ones. The HB’s are far better, than the so-called beginner guitars from the fifties and sixties, made from plywood with a string action as high your friends wanted to use it as a trampoline.

    It's a good deal as I bought one recently, but the neck is not roasted it's painted and it has 21 frets not 22 which they never had in the beginning if ever!

    • @Krisinized
      @Krisinized ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the neck is caramelized, which is a form of roasting. Just removes more moisture. Personally I feel like this is a gimic and almost all manufacturers do this now-a-days at the minimum.

    Who knows whether the neck is really torrefied. They call it caramelized. That can mean everything. But it's a nice instrument if you get one that's not too heavy or don't mind the weight. Mine weighs about 3.8 kg.

  • @Alfredo78666
    @Alfredo78666 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Very nice and addictive guitar, watch out! Actually it's 21 frets, and the neck/fingerboard is not caramelized, in Thomann they use that term to refering to another type of finishes, almost roasteds. Overall a very solid instrument. Nice playing. PD: Those saddles, don't look like the stock's ones.

    • @davidcallahan2539
      @davidcallahan2539 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I just read the entire description on Thomann's website. It absolutely lists the neck as "carmelised" in several different spots on the description. Lists as 21 frets as you stated.
