Making a Hand-built, Whimsical, Christmas Tree w/ B-Mix5 Clay 12.5.2023

Clay is B-Mix 5 w/o Grog
The Christmas Tree was covered in plastic for about a week, and then bisque fired to Cone 04. The star was painted with Amaco Velvet Underglaze, and then a Zinc-Free Clear was applied. The tree was glaze fired to Cone 5 with a 10 minute hold.

Did my last show this weekend. It’s been a weird season. Sold no banks one show, then sold out of them the next show. I fund different towns buy different glazes and items. Out of10 potters, one was selling at less than half the prices the rest of us were charging. He had to sell over twice the stock at $15 a mug as the rest of us did. Your tree is gorgeous!
