Watercolor Painting with Amaco Velvet Underglazes on Whimsical Doodle Style Mugs. 01.14.24

- This video is about painting whimsical Doodle Mugs, using Amaco Velvet Underglazes, Sanbao and Elan Transfers, and rubber stamps on B-Mix 5 w/grog bisqueware. (Bisque fired to Cone 04.)
After the underglaze design dries, I dip or brush them with two coats of a zinc-free clear glaze, then fire them to Cone 5 w/ a 15 minute hold. (I said cone 6 in the video, but it is actually cone 5.)
Hi. I love your whimsical work. Also, you mentioned stained glass and pottery frames. I'd love to see a video on how you do this. I always look forward to seeing your videos.

I’m up in Warren, Ohio. North of Youngstown. It is down to 4 degrees tonight. We love Sanibel to. Have been going for many years. Probably won’t be taking that long of a trip anymore. We are in our 80s. Do enjoy your trip. Like Ft Myers’s to. Had friends we visited there. I am going to work on the technique it looks relaxing.

I'm so sad the hurricane has destroyed so much of it. It'll be interesting to see how they are doing. Have fun with the technique. It is really fun. 😀
