Thank you for doing a airflow build! Ive been searching for one. Subbed atm! I was gonna buy the Phantek NV-5 if it was easily available here locally but couldnt find one. I saw this one selling for around 120 usd so I'd probably go for this with a black out theme. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is pretty compact tbh, check out my video on the Phanteks Enthoo II Pro if you want to see something *BIG.* th-cam.com/video/zftA4AVkkUI/w-d-xo.html
Very nice video i have a couple of questions my asus mobo has 1 a-rgb header right in the middle at the bottom and right next to it is a fan header, are the cables of the front rgb fans long enough to reach the headers on my mobo?? and your outake fan is that a 120 or a 140mm fan....
I'm doing my first self build in this case soon. I was looking at RGB fans originally but I haven't turned the lights on my 4 year old pre-built PC since the day I got it lol, so now I'm going down the road of performance fans. I cant decide between Noctua chromax, Silent Wings 4 pro or Phanteks t30 (all non RGB).
great case but having proprietary connector on the base fan and not having the header included with the case is a shame, if you dont pay attention you cannot plug them, other than that the case is amazing it looks amazing the cable managment is great
Heyyyy quality build was thinking of switching over to this case but currently got a matx mobo in my build any opinions on how this would look in this case with dead space etc thanks
Personally I don't like using smaller boards than cases can accommodate, but you could always get a vertical riser for your GPU, then the gap will be covered.
@@jordanash the nhd15 is 165 mm with the fan. Nhd15s is 160 mm with or with out the fan. That why im asking if it will fit on actual senario. Im planning to buy the case.
I meant that in the video I give the exact clearance dimensions. It's at 4:03. It has a clearance of 163mm, so NH-D15S if it's 160mm then yes, NH-D15 at 165mm no
Won't this case get very dusty considering it has no dust filters? Or will positive pressure be enough to keep it away? I really dig this case but am too hesistant because of that, might just get an h7 flow instead
NZXT seem to be all about airflow now, just might need more regular cleaning. Don't be hesitate because oy might need to clean it a couple more times in a year, the performance gain is well worth it.
@@jordanash Thanks for the insight mate! One more thing, if you were to choose between this or the H7 Flow, which would you prefer? The H7 Flow seems more efficient but the aesthetics on this are so good, having a hard time deciding.
No problem. Oh I'd go for this, even though the airflow isn't directly straight on, as you can see with the results in the video it's still keeping the system nice and cool. The H7 is nice and easy to build in, but this is something unique and I love it.
Hello, I'm considering purchasing this case to optimize the cooling performance of my components. Yet, I'm uncertain about the ideal number of PC case fans required to achieve maximum airflow. The configuration I'm contemplating involves three 120mm fans on the top and one 120mm fan at the rear for exhaust, supplemented by two 140mm fans at the bottom for increased intake, in addition to the three stock 120mm intake fans provided. Would this setup be the most effective configuration for maximizing airflow? BTW, I am also using the DeepCool Assassin IV Air Cooler.
I mean as you can see in the video even just the fans I'm using in the case work well. It's more down to the CPU and GPU you're using to how many fans you need. Guessing as you're using an air cooler you're not using a CPU that's too high in the SKU stack, so you might not even *need* the extra fans in the bottom and top. I usually don't add extra fans on the bottom or in the roof unless I'm using a higher SKU that needs an AIO.
I spoke about this in the video, I purposefully made a section to explain it as others weren't sure from previous cases... I put so much work into these videos to cover all the questions people ask, *please* watch it first.
They have a multiple different videos I'm sure somebody caught that I saw this video of multiple different times different ways love the case I didn't see all of it though I had to go somewhere like the White Version a lot
@@jordanash Like small circular stickers, i was hoping that came with the case, so i can stick it on corsair case fans to look like nzxt fans, since there mad expensive
*Small Correction* - The bottom additional fan supports are for 140mm fans, not 120mm.
It can fit 120mm too :)
@@hippowafflesifyit has space for it but no holes to connect them

You're welcome, thank you for subscribing. Sounds good to me!
The only TH-camr who explained the fans thank you so much man, I was struggling
You're welcome.
Beautiful build. How silent are the 3 fans that came pre installed please?
Thanks, came out well for a test build. Pretty quiet yeah, I had them set to 1600 RPM as I mentioned, but even that they were still not overly loud.
pc cases are getting bigger and bigger, wonder how big will they be in 20 years

Noctua are the best (and most silent) fans I've used, but they're $25 a pop. Certainly a case of "you get what you pay for" though
@@jordanash Cheers, that's what I'm leaning towards.
My first PC I used a Noctua cooler on, ran it for eight years without a single issue.

Sir H6 flow or H9 Flow which one is better. Please reply sir.

did you need an NZXT controller for the core fan in the back?
Yes, unfortunately

I think they should name it as H8, in between H7 and H9 kind of case. Making much more sense. Rather than H9 lookalike yet, in between H5 and H7.
H16, both combined haha
