I seem to be having issues with getting signal out of my headphones, some unless I press solo and other not at all. Where should I look?

Hi! Great videos, thank you! Is there a way to RECORD the signal coming from the PLAYBACK USB? We use some tracks in our band, and I'd like to hear what the sound is like using the "soundcheck" function AND have the ability to bring them into my DAW for additional mixing. I can always pull the tracks in later, but then I need to sync them up, etc. It'd be nice to record the click and track during playback. Is this a simple routing thing? I guess I want to route the PLAYBACK to an input, yeah? Thank you, thank you!

I recently purchased the Ui24r and it is running 3.1 firmware. Am I missing something with regards to multi track? I have recorded Drums/Bass/Rhythm Guitar and now want to add a lead guitar track afterwards. When I try to patch the lead gtr input, get error of "Patching Not Available during MTK Usage". What am I missing, does this device not have the most basic abiliy to add tracks later on? Thanks.

MTK recording is just that, it's not a DAW where you can keep adding tracks to the same recording. You can use your computer with free software to do this via the Ui24R.

Not sure if I am missing something here - want to record multitrack and have a live mixer at the same time - ie multitrack record a live performance. Assigning channels to the record session makes them disappear from the live output - any way I can do both at once?

I wanna know is it possible to patch any channel and assign it to my sub for Aux9 instead of FX Return ( can I use subs instead or FX Delay Return)?

Is it possible to patch an input channel to two other channels? Basically, I want to separate the low frequencies and the high frequencies on an input channel, do separate FX on each of those new channels, then send those out (not the original channel) to the mains.

Sure, I do that often. Just select the same input for 2 channels (I use it for multiband compression)

Hello. There is no MASTERS and HW OTS in tablet version of software, isn't it? Or I might be missing something...

First of all, can i use channels 1-10 for a line source in, from say a dj mixer? Then will i have to set that to a line in L/R, in the patching?

sure, no problem at all, no need to set anything. The TRS inputs are line level.

if I patch the AUX9 with the H1L and H1R.
So, the exit phone 1 will be controled by the aux 9.
Ok, but i wanna know if the aux 9 will be an a STEREO exit

1 AUX is 1 send.. Stereo is 2 sends, if you want stereo with PANNING of channels then you need to use 2 AUX's. If you just use ONE AUX and patch it to 2 outputs you will hear the same signal in both outputs. Just follow Logic.

Too much options and information same time. One routing and option from start to end so you can try it first and get it running then you can try other option. How you connect your laptop to Ui 24 I mean in what connector. Show the cable and plug it in and .... other end goes ....here.... for example. People can remember only 2 or 3 thing to do at same time.

It is simple once you understand the patching, but please if you have a problem or a question just go to the FB user group and ask, lots of users happy to help out.

    So confusing :/

It's confusing because you have never used it before. You may have not even used patching in other complex digital mixers. Watch it a few times, read the addendum, ask question.

Soundcraft Ui24R I'm too afraid to touch it in case I lose sound at a gig, lol! Have you done a video on how to setup and use the virtual soundcheck? I'm assuming I would have to record the band pre fx processing and save that song for use at soundcheck, then add all the processing as I'm playing it back?

Yep just reocrd to DAW or MUltitrack and then play back, many tutorials on this, (recording and playing back from USB stick) and then a complete mix session th-cam.com/video/X3zLL_iG840/w-d-xo.html

Man you are confusing I am so mad I am ready to throw my mixer to the bottom of a lake. I CAN NOT grasp the concept. You lose me at 3;40 every time because your bouncing where did you get channel 18 from. I have never had such a hard time with any mixer in my life. I have heard that this is the easiest mixer on the market and I say &!@%*@^%&#^%(&*^$#)(@*)) There needs to be some major clarity in your instructions and carefully not to hop around. The owners manual is so far from even pointing you in the right direction. I am trying to use mine in my studio and separate the drums from the audio on my computer that I am recording into Logic and I can't get my drums to not record on the stereo outs. I have tried everything . Tomorrow I will try jumping up and down on it until it works I guess.
