I need a Verus coin miner. My CPU’s are better suited for other Algo’s. Nicehash profitability is up again for RandomX hash. Not as good as before, but my 5950x averages $.75/Day. I need to fill my BTC bag, Im too over leveraged on Altcoins
Nice man. The mobo is just adjusting the remaining fan voltage to compensate. If you really wanted to test 1 fan, physically remove the dead fan as it's just blocking flow. Also, a trick from the old days, we use to lap our CPU coolers to a mirror.;)
I did my calc at an "estimated" 50 Mhs and 150 watts - and the 5950x was LOSING money, even at my 5 cent / KWH electric rate (one of the 3 best in the USA). SO no, the 5950x is NOT a good choice for this coin if you actually pay for your power. Price might have dropped a lot since this video though.
When your ready to buy more cpu rigs let me know. I'm selling off my cpu farm, 41 rigs in total from 3900x's to 5950x's. I'm moving up to all dual epyc 7742's and 7b12's. 7 down and 13 more to go.

That’s because you have your radiator upside down. Water goes where gravity pulls it so you cant pull water off the bubble off the top of the radiator. You probably burned out the pump running it dry
Nice summary of the build and setup process. Sidenote you should be able to get better cooling from the liquid cooler now that you lowered the voltage of the CPU.

Hi, Red Panda. I started my mining journey before a year inspired by you. but now all my rigs are stopped. So, which GPU card is now good for mining on a low budget.
For the fans 1:42 I think you should really confirm to yourself, if the fan is better positioned when pushing air in to the cooler, or trying to extract the air from the cooler. Just based on my very short tests, I think fan should be installed so that the side where air comes in to the fan, should be clear of any obstacles (like you have now the actual cooler in the fan income side). Basically, if fan is installed invertedly like this, it is probably going to run much higher RPM without real need for it to rev high. For some ITX case system I made, it made easily difference between 3000+ RPM and 2200 RPM for the CPU fan, depending which way it was installed, certainly I did the right thing and reinstalled it so that the RPM stays low even if CPU is trying to get warmer.

44mhs for 160 watts is very bad, or not? normally a normal phone has 3-4mhs and uses 3 watts, or not?

more power consumption because the 1 fan is running a higher RPM to maintain the temp vs 2..
That CPU doesn’t have any built in video anyway so you’re always going to need a GPU.
None of the X CPU’s have the ability to produce video either.

I think you are reading the display upside down. 9E is a tpm notification. You aren't running windows, so tpm can be disabled.

The temps were probably higher before because of PBO was enabled. Guessing you disabled it for mining.
