I was JUST going to say the exact same thing! Those series are my top two favourite book series of all time!!! AHH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH :') I can't wait for a Darker Shade of Magic to become a show/movie
If you only had to complete one series on that list, I would totally suggest the Percy Jackson series!! I absolutely love it and, if I had read this before Harry Potter, it would be my favorite series of all time, so I totally recommend it!!
Prince's Gambit (Captive Prince Book 2) is perhaps my favorite second book of a trilogy ever and it REALLY ups the game from Captive Prince (and is also less squicky). So if it's not on your list of series you aren't finishing, then I really recommend bumping that one up your reading list whenever you're in the mood for some truly spectacular medieval politics and plot twists.
omg you have to finish TID. So good! You've probably heard it a lot but if you didn't like TMI that much you may like TID more. I also really enjoyed the Winner's Curse triology. Probably not in my top ten but it's definitely something worth reading. Also love PJO.
The Study series by Maria V. Snyder! It's so good! I need to re-read the whole thing soon. I miss those characters. And her writing of fantasy is just the best. So much banter and fun. Love it!
You really need to keep reading The Infernal Devices! I am so sure you’ll love it, the second and third book are sooo good 😭🔥🙏🏻 just start reading and you’ll be captivated
I would recommend finishing Miss Peregrines!!! I really loved the original Selection trilogy but I did not find the additional two books to live up to the original three.
I watched this whole video waiting for you to hopefully mention The Themis Files. I hope you've enjoyed that series so far. I listened to the audio books and fell in love with the characters and way they present the story.
The Shades of Magic trilogy really gets better as it goes - it's a rare instance of the second book being better than the first (in my opinion). Definitely worth picking up! On my list to finish is The Illuminae Chronicles... I've read Illuminae but not Gemina or Obsidio. But they're on my tbr, I swear!
YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE RAVEN CYCLE AND PJ!!! I'd say The Infernal Devices too because the last book 😭😭 OMG the last book DESTROYS YOU! But I think you mentioned somewhere in another video that you'd DNFed Clockwork Prince anyway so Idk...But honestly, even if not TMI I'd 100% suggest finishing TID!
I thought you’d read more Brandon Sanderson than what was mentioned in these two videos! Also, you should read Scott Lynch’s books. It was only really A Darker Shade of Magic that you have started but haven’t finished that bothered me! It’s so great
THE DARKEST MINDS !!! Though, I'm right there with you. I'm currently reading The NewSoul Series by Jodi Meadows and I have The Darkest Minds series sitting on my shelf staring at me daily. I've read the first book and was dying to know what happened then got invested in other series and never picked up the next books. Ahhh....SOON!!!
Some of these I have but haven't even started yet! Like Captive Prince, The Raven Boys, A Darker Shade of Magic...I loved the Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis though! And i've read the first 6 volume of Saga so you're one volume ahead of me there, but still plenty of time for me to get caught up before volume 9 releases later this year :D
Mortal enginessssss (it grows on you), it's so different to other dystopians, the characters are awesome and Peter Jackson is making it into films soon!
Omg so many!! 😂 I honestly don't understand how you can only half read series! Even if a series is bad I always have to finish them-I feel like I've given so much of my life to the books that I may as well finish, is it just me that feels this way? 😂
You should finish A Series of Unfortunate Events! It’s a good series, but The End was a bit weird, but nonetheless, it was still good! And I’ve read the first two books in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and literally saw that Ransom has a fourth book for the series coming out in October 2018.
Skip Tower of Dawn and you will skip one of the biggest plot twists of the series. (the reason why Sarah turned the novella into a full-fledged book). Couldn't even believe it yet. You would also be missing many badass characters introduced there and that will impact the story in the last book :)
You should the his dark materials series by phillip pullman, I love them so much and some new little twits, revisiting character and some new ones that are brilliant. Also the other worlds aspect.
Oh dear, I'm sitting here hoping the Tiffany Aching series does not make it to the list, in the next video. I will not rave about the Discworld to you. Its on your radar already =) but I'm hoping you go on with it!
I can vouch for the noughts & crosses ❤❤❤ i absolutely love it u have no idea. The 4th book can choke tho 😑 also the girl with the dragon tattoo is sooo good. I mean talk about an anaroxic introvert hacker and a crazy journalist to solve Sweden most grotesque crimes ❤❤❤❤ ohhhhh the second book is sooo good I read both the 1st and the 2nd in like 5 days. I love my crime fiction 😍😍😍
I think thr new books in the Selection universe are a sequel featuring their daughter so technically you've finished the series. As for the series you should finish: Percy Jackson. Seriously, put an end to feeling ashamed and read the last two books. ;) And you should finish the Legend trilogy, it's really awesome and the ending sets the series apart from other distopian novels I believe. And I would advise to read Isla and the Happily Ever After because it's a quick and entertaining read, not super demanding so you can give your brain a little break from thibking and analysing all day and on the other hand I like finishing series where you've only got one or two books to go because it adds to the number of finished series very easily. :D
I thought the 4th book in the Magisterium series was quite disappointing. The third one is good though. I've also only read the first one of the peculiar children, but will buddy-read the second and third with a friend this summer.
I really want to start a Fantasy series and I am a bit conflicted between the Mistborn and The King Killer Chronicles which one should I pick, please help
You need need need to finish the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series. I've read them all and they're so good. I haven't yet seen the film of the first book but I have it on Blu Ray. They've even released a book which is metnioned in the book which is a book of Peculiar Tails which the children in the book read. I can't want to get a copy of that in my collection, but alas I have a lot of books on my "to read" shelf and not enough time to read them.
I haven't read the raven boys, percy jackson, thorne of glass, hunger games, and a court of thorne and roses so don't feel guilty because it ok you know that your going maybe finish the series one day.
I'm not even going to count with the series I started and didn't finish when I was reading in Portuguese, specially because I want to actually re-read all of them in English and finish them one day. So ever since I came back to reading and started reading in English (as of 2016) the series I started and haven't finished yet are: Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo (1 out of 2), The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan (1 out of 3), The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee (1 out of 2?), The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare (2 out of 3), The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (4 out of 6), The Captive Prince trilogy by C. S. Pacat (2 out of 3), ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas (1 out of ?), Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (2 out of 4), The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling (1 out of 7), Servamp manga series by Tanaka Strike (4 out of ?) and Makai Ouji manga series by Madoka Takadono (1 out of ?). And I'm currently reading Reign of The Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh so that will be another series for the list along with all the ones I'm planning to start next xD I made a rule with myself that I will not start another series where all the books are already out unless I finish one that I already started (so not counting the series that I couldn't read the next book(s) even if I wanted to because they are not out yet) and so far I'm doing good but let's see xD And wow, that makes a surprising 12 series Jesus xD
You definitely need to finish the 41 books in the Discworld series. Or at least finish the 5 books in the Tiffany Aching storyline ;) And also, you need to finish the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. Although, only the first 5 books. The 6th book (written by Eoin Colfer after Douglas Adams' death) is not that great.
Ugh! I'm so behind on the Merdoran Chronicles! I read the first book around the time it came out. I still need to read book 2. . . and probably reread book 1. *facepalm*
Please finish both the series by Sarah J Maas considering how you've adequate time before her next books release. Also, going by your reading tastes you should consider reading Dan Brown's books. They're brilliant.
I can't tell you which series to finish, but I can tell you which NOT to finish. His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman. Stop with Northern Lights/The Golden Compass. The first book only one worth reading, the rest of the series goes down hill.
It just hurts me when people say they haven't finished The Raven Cycle. It's so well done! I'm on my second reread of them and omg I just want to be in an endless cycle with these beautiful characters!
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really didn't like ACOTAR and whatever the third book's acronym is I really forgot. I'm someone who likes to think of ACOMAF as a standalone. Because the first book I hated and the third book was just so "meh" to me. Also, I know for sure that this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really didn't like the Percy Jackson books. I read them when I was 17 I think and I just didn't like them. To me they were too geared towards younger readers. Really not trying to offend anyone when I said that. It's just my opinion.
You should definitely finish Percy Jackson! The last 2 books are my absolute favourite! ❤️
My vote goes toward finishing the Percy Jackson series and the Darker Shades of Magic series. Both worth it (in my opinion anyway). :)
I was JUST going to say the exact same thing! Those series are my top two favourite book series of all time!!! AHH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH :') I can't wait for a Darker Shade of Magic to become a show/movie
Yessss
Nope, you’ve finished the The Selection series, those last two books don’t exist
Myranda Barton I agree 😂
I laughed too hard at this comment
Omg so much xD
The second 'Rebel of the Sands' book is sooo good! Definitely recommend you continue that series soon!
Throne of glassssss. The last two books that have come out are soooo goood!!
OMG GIRL!!! you have GOT TO finish TOG and ACOTAR. The next books are coming this year and it is 100% worth it❤️❤️❤️
omg you have to finish TID.
Love it!
Complete the cahill chronicles!!! I adored it! Its one of my favourites now!
You really need to keep reading The Infernal Devices! I am so sure you’ll love it, the second and third book are sooo good 😭🔥🙏🏻 just start reading and you’ll be captivated
I would recommend finishing Miss Peregrines!!! I really loved the original Selection trilogy but I did not find the additional two books to live up to the original three.
in years I haven't liked a book like I loved ACOMAF tbh ♡
I watched this whole video waiting for you to hopefully mention The Themis Files. I hope you've enjoyed that series so far. I listened to the audio books and fell in love with the characters and way they present the story.
This made me feel so much better about how many series I’ve started but haven’t finished hahahah
If I did this, I'd be basically giving a bookshelf tour! 😂
And you should finish a Series of Unfortunate Events. Also Percy Jackson.
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and His Dark Materials are the two series I would recommend you definitely continue!
You must finish The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, and the Shades Of Magic series! Definitely worth it! 💕
You have to finish Captive Prince!!! Those books are incredibly amazing ;;; and I'm sure you'd love them too , they just get better and better

I've read the first book and was dying to know what happened then got invested in other series and never picked up the next books. Ahhh....SOON!!!
Givemeprimelaughter The struggle is real 😂 Although I have read the series and it’s AMAZING! One of my ultimate faves 😊
I think you absolutely must finish the Percy Jackson series!!
You should definitely finish the Codex Alera series. It's very underrated in my opinion.
Omg finish the Seraphina duology! The second book is so so good
I'm sure it doesn't mean anything, but I would recommend finishing the Percy Jackson series along with Uglies, and Ellen Hopkins books.
you've got to read restore me! it's one of my favourite books this year++pick up the rest of tmi!
I got to about the same spot in the series if unfortunate events before I stopped as well.
Mortal enginessssss (it grows on you), it's so different to other dystopians, the characters are awesome and Peter Jackson is making it into films soon!
Read the Unwind dystology!!
Omg so many!! 😂 I honestly don't understand how you can only half read series! Even if a series is bad I always have to finish them-I feel like I've given so much of my life to the books that I may as well finish, is it just me that feels this way? 😂
Definitely finish percy jackson 💕
so many that i'm with you on!
shades of magic... need to get to the second and third! I also still need to read Godsgrave and Obsidio GAH
The sequel to Miss Peregrine's ("Hollow City") is my favorite of the series! I hope you like it, too. :)
You should finish The Nicholas Flamel series and ofc A Series of Unfortunate Events and continue reading Saga!
Hi! You should finish His Dark Materials series and The Cahill Witch Chronicles, they are pretty good. ❤
I love your rings! Where did you buy them??
I haven’t even started Throne of Glass yet 😬😬
Jay G Don’t feel bad, I haven’t either! I don’t even own any of them yet 😳🤭
Alisha Coughran I own them all up to Empire of Storms, but I haven't started yet either so shame on me... But they are so intimidating!
Skip Tower of Dawn and you will skip one of the biggest plot twists of the series. (the reason why Sarah turned the novella into a full-fledged book). Couldn't even believe it yet. You would also be missing many badass characters introduced there and that will impact the story in the last book :)
I’m looking at using FictFact.com which tracks series of books - not standalones.
LEMONY SNICKET THE ENDING PICK IT UP!!!! You got this lovely!!
You should the his dark materials series by phillip pullman, I love them so much and some new little twits, revisiting character and some new ones that are brilliant. Also the other worlds aspect.
I'm so guilty of not finishing series. Even if I LOVE them. I'm just easily distracted by other awesome books lol
ACOTAR....💕 you need to finish that..
Seconded !!
ACOWAR was great and I am so stoked for the next book to come out in 6 DAYS !!!
The last book was 600 pretty much empty pages and not worth re-reading, to my opinion :/
ACOMAF was so cool, though.
I think thr new books in the Selection universe are a sequel featuring their daughter so technically you've finished the series. As for the series you should finish: Percy Jackson. I’m slowly catching up with the Sarah J Maas series to get ready for the new releases coming up! It’s taken me a year though! Hahaaa.
How have you not finished percy jackson...shame on you.
Xander Ellem well I haven't either. I know I also need to finish them
I really want to start a Fantasy series and I am a bit conflicted between the Mistborn and The King Killer Chronicles which one should I pick, please help
ACOTAR AND PJO!?!!! GIRLLLLL

please finish ACOTAR series!
Warm bodies has a sequel? I had no idea.
This is a struggle on the same boat with so many
Ugh! I'm so behind on the Merdoran Chronicles! I read the first book around the time it came out. I still need to read book 2. . . and probably reread book 1. *facepalm*
How many books are there going to be in the Never night Chronicles?
There will be 3! The final book will be out this September :)
Please finish both the series by Sarah J Maas considering how you've adequate time before her next books release. Also, going by your reading tastes you should consider reading Dan Brown's books. They're brilliant.
I’m shocked that you haven’t finished the Percy Jackson or ACOTAR. Those are just books I presumed you would have read
Not related to the video but I love your accent
I want to live in the world you live in where the Gentleman's Guide sequel is already out. =P
How did you manage to not read the sequel to Noughts and Crosses after that ending?? And you must read the rest of the Raven Cycle!!
I know this video is a few years old but Fables is by Bill Willingham not BKV
I kinda just count The Selection and Shatter Me as finished even though I've only read the original trilogy, lol!
You didn't mention the six of crows duology in either video. Unless you're counting it as part of the grisha series?
That's because I haven't read the Six of Crows duology!
READ THE RAVEN CYCLE !!
I can't tell you which series to finish, but I can tell you which NOT to finish. His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman. Stop with Northern Lights/The Golden Compass. The first book only one worth reading, the rest of the series goes down hill.
For me Shatter Me ended in Ignite me and everything that comes after is only a spin-off. Idc what Goodreads says 😂
Beautiful disaster by Jamie McGuire
Isn’t lady’s guide not out yet? Why is gentleman’s guide in the first part of the video?
Correct! Honestly, I was up until 1am editing this, so it was just a mistake :P
percy jackson please read the series!
I am so so disappointed in Catrina... the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld is my favorite series and I just can"t...
finish a court of thorns and roses! its a great book
WARM BODIES HAD A SEQUEL? WHAT
Read the Winner’s Curse
Gentleman's Guide has a sequel????
randombookworm it comes out in October 2018!
With Graceling, don't even bother with Fire - it's soooo boring and more of a companion - Bitterblue is more the direct sequel.
You must finish ACOTAR!💙
It just hurts me when people say they haven't finished The Raven Cycle. It's so well done! I'm on my second reread of them and omg I just want to be in an endless cycle with these beautiful characters!

TID!!!!!!!!!!!
game of thrones is not technically finished yet ))
I am glad I am not alone in finishing ACOTAR series....i have yet to read ACOWAR.
Where is the red queen series? i did not see that in any of these two videos???
I prefilmed this video, so hadn't finished reading Red Queen at that stage!
Okay i am on the 3rd book in that series right now and i'm liking it so far... Not very far into it either yet but hoping to read more of it tonight
You SOOOOOO need to finish ACOTAR series
