The girl who circumnavigated fairyland is one of my all time favourite books; the lyrical writing, the whimsy, the folklore...amazing. I also didn’t think i could love six of crows even more than the grisha trilogy but I did - it’s just that good.
Beka!! \o/ I grew up reading Tortall pretty much in chronological order by publication so you have no idea how much I flipped out at the first appearance of Pounce. Faithfuuuuuuull!
I can't wait for you to read The Girl With All The Gifts, it's such a brilliant zombie book and I adored the audio as well! It made me think in a British accent. XD Enjoy your TBR picks!!
I am really excited you are picking up Gone Girl! It is definitely one of my favorite books of all time so I am looking forward to seeing what you think. The two books Im really excited to read this month are Children of Blood and Bone and Darker Shade of Magic, clearly am in a high fantasy mood but I have heard just great things about both
I've had this horrible reading slump the past few months thanks to university, and I'm so tired of it. So, I've decided to try this crazy thing I saw at BooksandLala about reading another youtuber's TBR, and I got yours randomly. I know it's already mid-may, but I'm gonna try it anyways and see how it goes. So excited.
I’m a sixth of the way through reading the first Mistborn book and loving it! So definitely want to finish that this month and then jump into Circe!!!!! I’m so excited for it!!!!
Because of school, trying to move and changing jobs, I have had zero time for reading so I am slowly getting back into the swing of things with some shorter books. I am currently reading Everland by Wendy Spinale and I want to read The Slade House by David Mitchell, Obsidio, and maybe The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. I am looking to hearing your thoughts on both Six of Crows and The Girl with all the gifts.
Just finished Six of Crows today! Immediately picking up Crooked Kingdom. So far I'm loving the dualogy. Just a little scared because I hated how the OG grisha trilogy ended.
I read the terrier series way back in the day and also her Tricksters Choice series . I remember enjoying them and I think it’s time for a reread ♥️♥️♥️
Ended up so disappointed reading Gone Girl.. but I just finished Six of Crows and it's a sure thing that I will re-read it soon.. and again.. and again.. I love these criminals OMG. Really miss you uploading after aaaaaall your videos in April. Have a nice day Caz :*
I'm so excited that you're going to read Six of crows. It's one of my favourite books and I think you're going to love it. The plot, the characters, their relationships, all are veery enjoyable.❤
Holy shit, I read Terrier in high school and have never been able to find it since! My library receipt for renting it out is currently in my buzzword book (which was from the same time). How spooky!
I'm reading Royal Assassin, The Oregon Experiment, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Number9dream, Angela's Ashes, Red Rising, The Stolen Child, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and A Gathering of Shadows this month 😄
The Girl With All the Gifts was great, but then I also picked it up without knowing that it's zombie-related which actually means that the book blows your mind a bit when you realise that zombies are involved ;D
Currently over halfway through Circe by Madenline Miller and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Hoping to get LifeLik3 by Jay Kristoff and Reflection by Elizabeth Lim - which is a mulan retelling that I'm excited to read!
I am listening to “Throne Of Glass” By Sarah J. Maas on Audible. I am on Chapter 6 right now. I love listening to Audio Books especially when the Book is really thick! I am also Reading “Bleak House” by Charles Dickens - Physical Format I am Reading in Physical Format “17th Suspect” by James Patterson. Enjoy your Books - Happy Reading 📚📖❤️
Oooo have you read Dune? I really want to but it looks like it's going to need a lot of focus as it's one of those fantasy/sci-fi books with a whole new world.
TO EVERYONE: I dont know if you ever dealt with anything eating disorder related but please be careful if you read wintergirls cause its highly triggering. It talks numbers and is really explicit all the time.
Im currently reading all the light we cannot see for my book club i have on facebook. Im also really enjoying it by stephan king. I hope to get to at least half finished this month as its a huge freaking book. Also im listening to pet sematary on audible. Im also reading a biography on hitler. I dont expect to get far into that one this month. Ill be happy if i hit 150 pages. Its also huge and there is a second one to go with it apparently! O: If there is time after all that i really want to pick up: scythe, and then she was gone, and/or the saviors champion.
Can you believe that in my almost 200 tbr books only one (ONE!) has the word girl in the title? And it’s Gone Girl. And I don’t wanna read it because I spoiled the ending for myself by watching the movie. Such sadness.
I am having so much fun with the readathon so far! I wanted to pick up girls made of snow and glass, but couldn't find it this weekend :( But I'm liking my books that I chose!
‘The Girl With All the Gifts’ was one of my favourite reads last year. Sooo good! The less you know going in the better.

Oooo have you read Dune? I really want to but it looks like it's going to need a lot of focus as it's one of those fantasy/sci-fi books with a whole new world.
If you do end up reading 'Gone Girl' this month; I'd definitely like to hear your thoughts - I ended up really enjoying this book! : D
