Everyone has mentioned her maturity and vocal talent... What about her song writing? She has wrote many hits... Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" for example. I have so much respect for her as a musician and the accomplishments she has achieved through her dedication and hard work.
I agree completely; some people may say that "oh, she sold out", "oh, she doesn't make the same music as her first two albums", and I'm like, yeah, maybe she has been a little uneven with her recent music sometimes, but give Avril some break and a little compassion, she has huge dedication on her work, faced what could have been a terminal illness on her, went from a second short-lived marriage, and yet, she's still making music; also, she's a grown woman in her thirties, at this point she's on her free will to make the music she decides too because of her talent and dedication, and not because the masses are telling her something otherwise, I love Avril forever, and I think she still a great musician whether people nowadays like her or not, and I don't care about that
