This is one of my favorite songs by her. The vocals on this one is just elite. Especially when she starts at 2:32 doing the soft “ahhhh ah ahhhh” but when he started hitting them notes at the outro 3:19 and she said “daaaammmnnn” and started going crazy at 3:23 with the high notes. I close my eyes and cut it up as loud as I can get it to hear and feel the intensity in those notes.
FUN FACT: While filming this music video, the crew brought in a bunch of onions. Avril said "what's that for?" The crew told her they were gonna cut the onions to help her cry, because apparently that's what they do for sad music videos where the artist has to cry. Avril said "get those out of here, I don't need those." They tried it her way, and she cried authentic tears during the entire video shoot.
