I really enjoyed seeing your favorite patterns. You know that when someone takes the time to make a pattern more than once, it’s a winner. I also find it interesting how much difference small changes, like the type of fabric or the hem length, can make in a garment. These are both lovely dresses ladies. And to the viewer who made that intricate smocked top, my hat is off to you; what intricate work! I am inspired by all of you. And a great big hello to Nate and prayers were sent up for Dory’s husband.
Both your dresses turned out well. Vogue patterns are on sale this weekend at Joanne and I thought of Dory when I saw Vogue 8825. I know you wanted a wrap dress and this one is a little more elegant it's also Fuller in the top so you wouldn't have to do a lot of adjustment. Glad your husband is doing better, that can be some real tough sledding. Dee you are looking very smart lately I like the glasses and I think you look good when your hair is fixed back. That dress would look really good and be super cool in a liberty of London cotton which would not be Thrifty but it is So Divine.
This was a great challenge. Like Dory I tend to reach for a new pattern each time but there is so much to be said for tweaking something you already have experience makimg. It was good to see Nate. I'll be looking for you next week.
I was watching in bed and fell asleep and woke up to see myself on screen.😅Thanks for showing my makes. I have to try to find Dory’s pattern, i just love the shape details and bias angles. I already have Dee’s.
Hey hey Nate! Dory I have that pattern of the dress you made, and I can't wait to make it. Looks very nice on you! Dee, how figure flattering that is on you! I like both dresses too. It was a fun day seeing your makes! The Viewer's makes look nice too, and it's fun seeing what people are making. I just got a stash of fabric from Fabricmart, and I also ordered the Button Bundle, so I have buttons to last me forever! I just ordered more fabric and the Pattern Bundle, so I need to stop for a while! 😂 It's time for me to get busy sewing! ❤
I have made the pattern Dee used at least three times. You can omit the button and keyhole closure in the back by cutting the back piece on the fold and eliminating the seam allowance; it slips easily over your head without the button and keyhole.
i love the dresses all of them i do like the botton on the back it is so cute and i would not like the elastic on the bottom but because i am so short but i love them all
There’s not very many with zippers in the front. You could take one that has a seam in the front and put a zipper there and sew the entire seam up the back instead of the zipper in the back seam. For example a shift dress. That’s one idea.
I loved the remake video. You are both delightful. So enjoyable to watch you.
Thank you so much!
Loved the remakes and loved seeing the makes of your viewer.
Thank you!
Love your makes… ❤ you both make me laugh 👩🏻
Great!!
The black print dress is so flattering, Dory is more my shape, and as always great makes. So many talented people enjoy seeing their makes.
Awww....thank you!

Thank you so much, you are so sweet. Nate says hey!

Glad you enjoyed the challenge! Nate says hey!
Well done Dory tackling the technology side of things. It is what puts me off having a sewing channel myself.
The challenge is they are always updating and changing things! Nothing stays the same 😵💫
Enjoyed today’s video. Thank you for sharing your makes!
You are so welcome!

Thank you. Happy hunting, and show us the make when it's done!

I love your channel. I love to sew and I too live in Michigan. I am in Troy.

Great tip! Now when Dory makes it that's what she will do!
