It’s honestly a shame, because that line (“f@gg@ts the name and cookings my game” is the quote if you care, but I’m censoring the name to not get this comment deleted lol), and I really wanted to see your reaction, although obviously I understand why that was cut. Did you also have to remove the line that says “at least he died peacefully” when we see the face of the guy after he gets attacked by the soul taker? Edit:someone also mentioned it, but the TH-camr Tehsnakerer did a good video on the game that was mentioned called Hunt Down The Freeman, which would make a good reaction video to.

It’s… oddly wholesome. Like all these wretched beings trapped in this purgatory, but all of them are just enjoying their ‘life’ for what it is, enough for them to sing
The pathalogic series is one that has an.... interesting acknowledgment that it's a game. Mandys reviews of those are great as well; also, time for the final of his terrible halloween games, Anonymous Agony. Saved the worst for last lol Edit: Tyranny is another game Mandy reviews, but the lore behind that one is fantastic; its a fantasy isometric rpg by Obsidian
Cranny's an agent of chaos too powerful to be left alone. That's why TH-cam keeps taking down videos of her in them. Her surname is a killing word with the power of a god behind it.
And this, my friends, is why a Mandaloregaming is the King of Limbo :) Halloween is right around the corner. I can only imagine what his next special is going to be about. I like to call this time ‘Mandy’s Marathon of Madness’. BTW thx so much for doing this! I love seeing other people watch these. With this struck off the list, now you have two more Halloween special to gos (Anonymous Agony and Ring.)
So now you know about this video, remember that painting Mandalore fixated on in the Droods video? The one of the sailing ship? Where he edited in a silly song over it? That was a painting of the Mary Celeste. Welcome to the FIRST Mandalore brainrot hole.
briggs was made a detective cause he was the one guy who returned a soul (remember the warrior soul he didn't feed to a monster) he gave it back and that guy spoke for him and since it was recent briggs suddenly became the one guy who they could trust to not be the soul taker
Oh yes, Vampire the Masquerade... that's a rabbit hole that you can quickly fall into... For completely different reasons, would you like to watch the "Hunter the Parenting" series after "If the Emperer had a text to speak devices"? It's from the same makers! And just as good!
The Pathologic games probably make the best use of acknowledging the player, i saw another commenter also mention it. Mandalore did 2 videos on them, theyre worth a watch for sure. The whole game is conceived as a sort of story within a story, and, ironically, has a lot of fun with the idea despite being explicitly designed to make you, the player, suffer as part of the experience.

@@thehoodedteddy1335 You mean the hour and a half long video?! Might be a bit harder sell to recommend someone react to something they'd probably extend to two hours long with commentary.

Yeah, from what I know the lore is genuinely intriguing, but the later games just ain't it. So many other games in the same genre are outperforming the OG nowadays...
On that early topic of Hunt Down the Freeman, I highly reccomend TehSnakerer's video on it. He's got a similar style to Mandaloregaming, and also covers more obscure titles.
if you really have never heard of Hunt Down the Freeman, you _need_ to learn about it The Right Opinion and Tehsnakerer have >1h videos on it, if you want more depth, and Yahtzee Croshaw, former employee of The Escapist, has a shorter video (

@@somnum5056 True. That said, "Ring 1" may be a badly designed game, but it is also entertainingly bizzare. The sequel, on the other hand......
Limbo of the Lost is the Ready Player One of videogames, you spend the entire time just trying to see how many things you recognize.
Now time to react to his E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy review! An important part of the MandaLORE.
