  • This customer had not used his RV for a while and when he turned the Norcold N811 refrigerator on it had a “No Cool” error code. He tried to reset it, but was unsuccessful so he called me. I show you how to do this reset procedure.

OK Hollywood, now get back to work. Lol. I cut a igniter connector off my rv furnace wire which was to long with a new Dinosaur board. I crimped on a spade lug and it’s been running for 6 months no problems.

I have that fridges big brother, the N1095 and converted it to a 12VDC compressor cooling unit (JC refrigeration) last spring. It works beautifully now and no more Nocold nonsense as the new unit has its own electronics.
    I like Hillbilly Heaven!

Carry some " T " pins in your hat brim. Then stick the t pin in the connector and hook a jumper wire that you will now carry 2 of in your front pocket to your ground. Also. Get autumated man. Small drill , 1/4 extension and some 1/4 inch sockets, preferably magnetic.

I use a pick and hook set tool to pull off terminals. Much easier than using pliers because when you use pliers, you're pressing the terminal which makes it harder to pull off. Just use the hook to get under the terminal and pull. I learned this from the other rv tech Darren ... you know the one in Washington state.

I do commercial heating and cooling. I find some companies limit info like that for liability reasons, others do it for "proprietary " reasons so other manufacturers cant copy their designs.

Cool. It's always nice to help people out and meet people who've seen your videos. Too bad the spade connector ripped off. Perhaps a squirt of WD-40 would have been useful before tugging?

If it were mine, I would install a small switch with a wire to 19 and another to ground so that it could be reset without taking everything apart. If it is an empty socket, you should be able to get the connector part for that plug..
