Man, just imagine if they had the time to add all the stuff they wanted to put into the game. It is already a masterpiece, but knowing it could have been even better just hurts.
They should've asked Fujiwara to help them finish the cut content for Tomba HD, nstead of just porting the game, but that's too much work and not enough of a cash grab I guess.
Seems like the end of the game was caracterized by "Fighting", as the Masakari fought everyone but themselves and the Civilization fought against themselves. I do wonder about Trick Village, it seems very weird that it's just a One Screen Curse...
@@NSegaXP actually symbols used for spells of courage/strength/wisdom in Tombi! 2 seem to be based on Dongba/Tomba - ...or at least the more simplistic fonetical Geba variant. But the in-game symbols seem to be meaningless (I mean... probably we all expected that but it's still sad). I even made an idiot out of myself and contacted the Dongba experts, sending them symbols from the games and how they sounds, but got no asnwer sadly. ...never knew about Iran, though! Alberto Tomba still the best.

@@infinite_ammo Fujiwara has been the brain of the port, if the cut content has not been added is because it has not been possible.

The devs knew that the funga pass was too strong for any mere protagonist, so they removed an entire subplot to prevent Tomba from acquiring it
Sad how rushed the end of this game was BUT i think it added to the "mystery" of the game with the relics these bits left behind
