- The plaintiff says his cab was illegally towed by the defendant. He argues the defendant damaged his cab when it was towed, so he’s suing for car damages, reimbursement, and lost wages. The defendant says there wasn’t a tag on the cab, so he says it was parked illegally.

He needed to file a complaint with the Florida Bar Association against the judge for being a nutjob and granting that restraining order. The judge was out of his mind.

All jokes aside, she needs to be evaluated. Thinking he did all the damage that was actually caused by a major storm?!? Calling the Plaintiff names and thinking he cracked her porch tiles with a hammer(it couldn't have been the 95mph winds)? That's above and beyond "Karen" behavior. That's sheer, unreasonable paranoia. It sucks he lost because the Defendant still thinks she's right. So frustrating.
I think the plantiff should file against the judge who issued the restraining order. There was no basis or merit her life was not in danger. She still just doesn't get that it was a hurricane that caused the damage!!

I got irritated with this one the first time I saw it. For her to think she could blame what is in fact hurricane damage on him was deplorable, and trust me I've seen PLENTY of hurricane damage I live in South Louisiana, the damage she had was absolutely from the hurricane not him!

A LAZY Judge signed that frivolous PPO. Even another JUDGE sees that. But, I'd consider that still a win (kinda). SHAME ON THE DEFENDANT

And she had no proof of her allegations, all she had was showing the storm damage to the outside of her house. She was blaming him after a hurricane did the damage and expected him to absorb the cost of all the repairs from the hurricane. Sad this happened to the plaintiff. Defendant needs a home care person to do everything for her.

15 guns isn't excessive or weird. Different types of guns for different situations.
Some people collect guns and enjoy shooting a variety. Some people collect shoes, other people collect purses or stamps.
Being the victim of a mass shooting and losing people I know to gun violence (Club Q), lets agree to disagree. 15 guns is way to many! Espically the ones that can fire off tons of rounds per minute. That is not for hunting.... at least not hunting animals.

I remember seeing this case, and it made me soooo angry. I grew up in Florida, and I’ve been through hurricanes, but even if I hadn’t, common sense should dictate that this woman take the time to do some research so she could see the type of damage that can be done by one. Why would this man just arbitrarily decide to cut wires outside of her house, etc? She is too dang old not to have an ounce of common frickin’ sense.

Edit: Wow what a joke. I guess the judge thinks it's totally okay to force somebody to pay unnecessary attorney fees for a case that never would've happened if the defendant hadn't lied to the court. She's acting as a mediator and absolutely could've ruled in his favor, no problem. There is no real justice. God bless America.

Harvey is out of line about the guy owning 15 guns. He's a hunter, whatever variety of animals he's hunting requires a different gun. You don't shoot a turkey with a high powered rifle, you shoot deer, elk, moose with a high powered rifle.

The defendant said he went inside her house. She says it in the video too...not just in court. But Marilyn didn't want to hear that? Or....the People's Court edit that part out? Either way, that sucks.
FWIW - wires don't get sliced during hurricanes. They get shredded and yanked out but not sliced

Yes, a hurricane happened. And yes, it did some damage. Perhaps extensive damage but there's still MORE to this story.

Maybe she overreacted when he was explaining about the damage....she probably called him some degrading names and he then retaliated. But you can't prove that because she's up north and he's in Florida.
Again, that doesn't mean a hurricane didn't damage her property. But not those wires. Those were cut!!! And those tiles look deliberately scratched. It overall looked retaliatory.
