    I got this exact same header, absolutely love it. But no matter what I did it had serious leaks with the provided manifold gasket. Switched it out with a OEM header gasket and it sealed up perfectly! FYI I followed your heat wrap video when I heat wrapped this header 😁

      It is a pretty good header especially for the price! How did the wrap turn out for you? and did you use fiberglass or titanium??

      @@RaineLutz its awesome quality for the price! Wrap turned out perfect considering it was my first time! Took a few tries to get it just right but it worked out. I said screw the metal zipties after fighting them for an hour and just used quality tie wire. I used the expensive DEI Titanium wrap and after 2 months its still holding up!

    Does it have a true 2.5” collector? I heard they have a smaller tube inside.

    What flange did you use to line up your exhaust with the header? I seem to have the same gap you do and the holes don't seem to line up and the inner diameter of my cat seems to be too small (2") vs the header 2.5"? Great video!!!

  • @thilankahashan8861

    Do you think it’s going to fit for integra b18b engine LS/RS/GS (non VTEC)??

    • @RaineLutz
      @RaineLutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just did a quick google and it looks like a b16 header will fit on a b18b BUT it could possibly restrict the exhaust flow since the b18 is larger displacement. I personally think that only applies to factory manifolds as this header has larger primary tubes so I don't think you'd have an issue. Apparently in some cases there is a clearance issue with oil pans on the non vtec engines but I can't confirm. You might have to do a bit more digging on google or contact Yonaka themselves. Hope this helps man!

    Thanks for your video! Do you have any header leaks? I have a B16a2 engine whit a yonaka exhaust and stock header, never have leak problems, I want to install a yonaka header but I am afraid of having leaks, since I joust to have a d16engine,yonaka exhaust and dc sports header I have a leak no matter what donut gasket I use, I took the car to a mechanic and he install a Toyota donut gasket to fix it and the problem was fixed , what do you think? What experience you had when you first installed?

    • @RaineLutz
      @RaineLutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have no exhaust leaks at all and it works perfectly. If you were having some exhaust leak issues I would look at replacing the collector spring bolts and make sure the rest of your exhaust Isn't binding up anywhere and allowing it to align correctly as you bolt it together. It's also important to tighten the bolts around the donut gasket in stages and evenly so you aren't tightening one side more than the other which would cause a nasty exhaust leak.

      Sorry for the late response! I've run these long tube headers on all of my civic builds and i have nothing but good things to say about them! I even bottomed out the car a couple times and caved in the header. still no issues even with a big dent in the tube!

    My bolts just broke, what bolts should I replace with? Should I go to dealership for oem bolts?

    • @RaineLutz
      @RaineLutz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I find that oem bolts do tend to snap especially when removing, you could go to the dealer but I usually upgrade to grade 8 or higher bolts on my builds. Just be careful not to strip the head out with the stronger bolts. You could also just go to a local junkyard and use them as well for alot cheaper

    will a b18b yonaka header bolt up to a skunk 2 exhaust

    • @RaineLutz
      @RaineLutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as the Skunk 2 exhaust bolts up to the factory location (Cat back or header back) then yes it should work.

    That header won’t fit to a stock cat would it?

    • @RaineLutz
      @RaineLutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as its a B series exhaust system it will directly bolt up. In some cases with the cat built into the header it will get completely replaced with this header.

    • @riverwarts9084
      @riverwarts9084 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have stock 01 Integra GsR B18c1 system and this Yonaka header did not bolt up to the stock CAT. The flange holes were completely opposite of eachother, so I had to get a test pipe temporarily while I wait to have new exhaust system welded up.
