How's it going everyone? Welcome to arguably one of my favourite manga unboxing videos I have done on the channel thus far! In today's video, I will be unboxing ALL 37 volumes that have been released by Viz Media, for the greatness that is, Vagabond. This is definitely my most anticipated series in my collection to read, as I had a blast recording this video for you all and showing each individual volume as well. I hope you enjoy! :)

What is your favourite Takehiko Inoue manga?

I personally think Real is the best out of all three popular works by Takehiko Inoue, the story is really grounded and the main characters has a lot more depth in comparison to Takehiko's other works

Haha yeah it's taken me a long time to get these. Definitely paid a bit more than I would have liked to for some, but all worth it for me in the end. Thanks for watching bro!!

@BlackSwordsMan I really hope you enjoy it because for me is the best manga I have read ever. You may expect action and some gore but the most impactful part for me its the developing of many characters and philosphy in there. I believe vol 2 and 3 of VIZBIG are Out of Stock now but they usually are re stock after some months
@BlackSwordsMan Also I can tell you thay first volumes are kinda slow but they improve very much when you re read it

I've tried collecting but the first time I've tried buying it I was going for volume 4-6. It was priced at $55ish. A good amount of pictures to show off its quality. Pretty good quality. Ordered it and never received it. The seller's account was also gone. Luckily I got my money back. From then on I asked for more pictures and specific pictures like a peace sign with their hand next to the book or something specific written on a piece of paper. I get blocked or my account gets reported for suspicious activity. Scammers man.

18:04 I love vol 32 cover. The characters look almost identical to Kiem and Jensen from Lost Odyssey, which is my fave game ever. Love his style.

You can definitely get the English versions, just takes time. These took me quite a long time to get, luckily I managed to get everything just before prices went up. Good luck :)

@@joshuacaelum4461 Haha no way! I have found a lot of hidden gems where we live. For Vagabond specifically, I bought volumes from eBay, American websites, and amazon. Nothing locally like Kijiji. Honestly, your best bet to buying this series in the individual volumes, is to buy a complete set now a days. It's not really worth the time and effort to find each volume, when you'll end up spending the same amount for a complete set. I hope this helps, and I always love talking to people who live locally where I am :) You can comment anytime!!!

Yo bro, where did you look to find these, and did you get them from any specific website or place? I want to get all of the Vagabond Volumes in full, and I don't know where to find them without dropping an arm and a leg!
Honestly it took me a while. Like I explained in the video, I purchased them from multiple sources. To save time, honestly either buy a complete set or a near-complete set. Cheers!

Go with the Vizbig editions as they are the more affordable way to purchase the series. Some of the volumes are OOS right now, so you might not be able to get all of them at once. Good luck and happs to your friend

Why they don't make more these and only those viz big edition?
Easier to sell and collect Omnibus editions than singles. Singles are mostly just there for the first print run of a series.
There's now 37 volumes of the thin manga, and how much of the thick manga?
I think either about 11 or 12 volumes of the VizBig editions!
There are 12 vizbigs and a volume (37) isn't included in the last vizbigs volumes.

Yes I did get majority of the books individually. If the series ever continues publishing, then expect a reprint most likely on vols 30-37 if Viz decides to do a reprint on some volumes.
Where did you order these from. I can only find vizbig versions
I got a lot of these from searching sites like Ebay and Amazon. They are OOP!

@@anthony-jx3np yeh man! Tell me about it... that's why I was nervous weither I was getting ripped off. Maybe go for the vizbig edition, they are bigger and hold more chapters plus a cheaper option. I think each goes from $20-$60 (AU)

I’m not gonna lie I don’t like most of the manga covers. The mangas actual art style is top tier but I just don’t like how some of the manga covers look. I like some tho. A lot of them are cool asf
Edit: I can back to this video to see what the covers looked like again and I completely changed my opinion. They all (except the one with the kid on it and another one where some guy looks weird) look amazing. Idk what I was thinking 4 months ago. They’re all actually really good and I kind of want buy them now.
Some are a hit or miss. I do like most of then from what I remember. Especially volume 20 and up

These are OOP and took me a long time to collect. If you are willing to do it slowly, you can make it happen!

@@sidharth4957 Honestly you might have to wait it out. Vagabond is to popular of a series to never be reprinted again. Who knows what Viz will do

How much did you pay in total if you don't mind me asking?
Honestly I couldn't tell you, but definitely retail price for all volumes. Some volumes I got for less and some I got for more. It rounds out to about the same price if I got it all for retail, which is still a lot lol
@@micro292 How 💀? I’m on my vagabond hunt and I found 14 volumes for retail and the other 8 I got are between 15-20. Still good imo

- They stopped producing the Vizbigs.
It's crazy how much manga is now a days. The only way they will reprint the series is if Inoue comes back to make more content, or there is so much demand that Viz will just make a reprint on the VizBigs. But who knows...

Dammmmnn this is like my dream lot!! 🥹😭 I don’t like the vizbig ones at all, wish viz reprints these gorgeous single volumes so that collectors don’t need to pay the steep price to have their vagabond collections. I loved your video and hopefully I’ll be able to buy these someday if available. Luckily I saw volume 32 on amazon and jumped right into it. It will take 1 month to reach me tho 😅
Hey man it's a slow process. I bought most of these volumes before the prices of manga went up a crazy ton in the past few years. I'm sure if you keep looking around you can find people selling the volumes for a good price, but let's hope Viz can reprint these or make new prints for Vagabond. All the best :)

@@DemoGuy6069 Congrats on picking up the volumes! I just checked my Amazon and they also have it available just in low stock. From what I understand, volumes 32ish-37 have usually been available for quite awhile. I picked up most of those volumes from amazon even 3-4 years ago and it seems like you could still get them now. It's more of volumes 1-30 that are hard to obtain.
If were you personally, and if you really want to collect all of vagabond in the singles, it's probably better to get a complete set if not near complete, then source out everything individually. Although it may seem like you would spend more buying a complete set, piecing everything together one by one is much more time consuming and harder to do.Could cost more as well, anyways all the best :)
